Here is the receipt to prove the price

Went to Circle City Tavern for the first time ever.. I was charged $45 for ONE shot of Fortaleza Reposado with pineapple juice. When I questioned it, the bartender (John) told me it's because the bottle is "$300" and only yields about 18 shots. That explanation doesn't add up -- the same bottle is widely available for around $150 retail, and bars don't pay retail pricing. To make it worse, I went to The Brass Tap right after and ordered the exact same drink for $15. Same tequila, same order, a third of the price. Safe to say I won't be returning...That's not "premium pricing," that's taking advantage.

When we came here, it was a Wednesday night so I guess you can say it was "Country Night" with live music. Our visit was two weeks ago and now I finally have time to write about it. We made reservations for 8 (including kids). I like the place. It's nice and the vibes and decor matches what they're going for. Parking is good and seating is decent for a small restaurant with booth to the side and tables on the middle section near the bar. They also have outside seating too with bathrooms along the back area. Music is definitely loud and we found ourselves talking louder just to communicate with one another. We ordered from the happy hour menu. Happy hour ended at 6pm on Wednesday and we made it right before! We got a variety of things. The tostadas were delicious. The adobo chicken tacos were stuffed and had a kick to it. Really flavorful. The garlic noodles were a bit too salty. The loaded pepperoni flat bread was decent. Just too much dough. The jalapeño eggrolls were good, definitely tasted better with the sauce it came with. The tavern nachos were mid and the "chicken tenders" for the kids were ok. No seasoning whatsoever on the chicken and very plain but fries were good. Drinks were a mixed review. The smoked old fashion was fire and definitely well done. The margarita flight was interesting. It's only served Tuesday but they made an exception for us since the waitress didn't know it's only for Tuesday and other guests got it too. The spicy margarita was good, the strawberry one didn't taste like strawberry. The mango didn't taste like mango. We were a bit confused but it is what it is, not all drinks can win. The golden sunset margarita was gross, it was really sour for some reason like they forgot the tequila. We're not one to complain and dealt with it. The city smash was good. Definitely worth it for happy hour. Overall service was good, food was decent and environment is kid friendly. Live music is definitely a plus. Definitely wanting to come back and check out other items and drinks. A good place to meet friends up and hang out.

This place is a welcome surprise in this city. The food is not like any other bar food. Its more of an upscale accessible all American with a fusion twist. They got such a wide ranging menu from fish tacos to caviar and cioppino. They has so many varieties, there wipp always be something for everyone in the party. Their alcohol selection is vast and the decor is very earthy and warm. Love the atmosphere and the server was so attentive and great with checking up on us. I had the fish taco blackened with truffle parmesan fries. Well worth it. My friend got a pesto sandwich and it was good from what I gather. So many things to try. I'll come back on their band night on Tuesday and try more stuff. Give it a try.

Cool little spot that opened recently. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was really good. Nothing got sent back so that was a good sign. I had the double patty burger, had great flavor. 10/10 Short rib Benedict was tasty also. 9/10 Mussels had a great flavor and pretty much all of them were cooked and open 10/10

Had a great lunch and cocktail experience at Circle City Tavern with my wife today. We shared the Brussels sprouts and chicken pesto sandwiches, and everything was excellent. Bubba the bartender really made the experience stand out -- he hooked us up with a couple of great Old Fashions and Espresso Martinis, and his personable, funny attitude made us feel right at home. Great food, great drinks, and outstanding service. We'll definitely be coming back again.

    Argentinian steak sandwich... delicious.

First time here and we'll definitely be back. Great place to watch the game, catch up with friends, happy hour, date night, etc. Ahi Tostadas were a great starter. Argentinian Steak sandwich was really good and the Grilled wedge salad w/chicken. I love ciders and my Apple Crisp cider drink complemented the meal. Mckayla (sp?), our server, was great too!

Everything is supposed to be handcrafted. I believe that most of it is. Everything we ordered was hot, juicy, crispy, tasty, flavorful, whatever it was supposed to be. Starting with the cocktails and mimosas, all delicious. Espresso martini made with homemade espresso. Bomb. Bloody Mary was delicious with the smoked salt on the rim, the bacon strip was actually still hot off the grill and was a solid piece of bacon. Next, the double tavern burger with bacon. Yes, it's gonna cost you, but I assure you it was worth all $30. Everything was juicy and fresh. Only thing was the bottom bun got soggy pretty quick, but since it was so good I'm not complaining much. The regular fries were crispy and tasty. The crispy chicken sandwich was legit. Juicy and large piece of chicken freshly fried. The Calabrian chili slaw and a nice little sweet heat crunch to it and the pesto smacked. Got the cilantro garlic fries with this and those were amazing too. The ranch. You can taste the fresh dill in it, rich and tangy, always get sides of ranch. The staff was very attentive and made sure everyone was taken care of. In addition to that, the entire set up in open and very clean. We ate outside on the back patio which is full of games and things for anyone to do really (cornhole, big jenga blocks, etc). Lots of room out there. Now they just need some live summer music out there and some concert night drink specials and it's a perfect spot

I stumbled on this place on a Monday afternoon after studying (there's a library just a quick walk nearby in case folks are interested in taking a break. I was able to attend their Happy Hour which on Mondays are from 3pm to close which I loved! I was really impressed by how modern and decorative the restaurant was and they had plenty of seating inside, on their patio, and even at the bar with lots of tvs. It was pretty empty when I went but it was also a Monday. I ordered a cocktail (Crimson Drop), an order of fries, and their Tavern Burger. I also chuckled because on their menu they had Girl Dinner which if you know, you know. I'll likely order that next time. The fries were the perfect amount of crispy and flavorful. The cocktail was a little bit on the sweeter side for my taste but for $8 it delivered! I wasn't impressed with their burger--there wasn't enough sauce for me so it tasted pretty bland and I was expecting more. Maybe their other burgers are better? I originally wanted their happy hour nachos which didn't come with protein and I wasn't able to add any protein to it unless I bought the "regular-priced" one which I also thought was a little strange? Anyways, I had a nice time though enjoying the ambience, the bartender was sweet and I really love the space. Next time, I'll have to bring some friends with me!

I love that Corona is adding new businesses to the downtown area. I decided to try this place as it's 5 minutes from home. I love the decor and the open air vibe. It looks like a tavern. Lol! There are several TVs around the restaurant so I'd say it's great for sports fans. The servers are very attentive and friendly and seem happy to be there. The food is mediocre and a tad bit over priced. I had fish and chips which was fried too long and not very flavorful. I also has the cesear salad which comes with anchovies . (Ask to have those removed). The portions or sizeable and can be shared. Overall it's a cool place to hang out for drinks and sports, food is mid. Also check their website or social media for events and entertainment.

Such a cute tavern with good food. When you walk in, the staff are welcoming and friendly. The music is upbeat but not too loud, so you can still easily have a conversation. I ordered the mushroom risotto. Honestly, I'd give it about a 7/10. I would have preferred it to be a little creamier, but the flavor was still good. My friend ordered the garlic noodles and those were delicious. We also had two drinks, which were good. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. Will be back, to give other options a try.

This was my first time visiting--my clients have always spoken highly of this place, so I was excited to finally try it on Friday, April 10. I ordered a glass of wine that wasn't part of happy hour, followed by an Old Fashioned from the happy hour menu. When it was served without a cherry, I asked about it and was told that happy hour Old Fashioneds don't include maraschino cherries. While it may seem like a small detail, it made the experience feel less thoughtful and took away from the overall impression. Unfortunately, this alone would make me reconsider returning, as I prefer a more consistent and polished dining experience.

Came here with friends during lunch hour & got some items from the "lunch deals" section. For the lunch deals, we got the 2 chicken tacos, which comes with chips & salsa. There was a decent amount of chips and salsa and the tacos were a good size & had good flavors. 8/10 for the chicken tacos. My friend got the traditional wings (6 piece) lunch deal which comes with a side of fries & celery. The sizes of the wings look decent & she enjoyed the meal. Our party also got the steak tacos & steak nachos. This time, there was a decent amount of steak on the nachos and it paired perfectly with everything. The first time we came here and we got the nachos during our last visit, there was barely any steak on the nachos so I'm glad they corrected it and making it better. 8/10 for the nachos. Drinks: my group mainly got beer so they were all good & happy with it. I wanted a margarita flight and well, that was pretty disappointing. It was supposed to be 4 different flavors/drinks with tequila. But where was the tequila? I felt that they should've been upfront with it on the menu and called it a mocktail or something because when we didn't taste any tequila in it, we asked the waitress & she mentioned to us that there is only 1 shot of tequila for the whole flight...like what?! That flight cost $20 so you're telling me I'm basically buying $20 worth of juice since the tequila is non-existent?! That was truly disappointing to hear & even the waitress said she would never recommend the flight because of it and it wasn't fun to make. So do better Brass Tap, either add more tequila to your flight to make it actually worth $20 or just remove it all together from your menu. Deceiving & a total waste. 0/10 for the flight. Thankfully the waitress removed it from our bill without issue & got me the watermelon margarita to replace it. Much better and you can taste some tequila in it (not much but a lot more than what was sprinkled onto the flight). 6/10 for the watermelon drink. Overall the service is decent and the space is decent for small groups. There's seating at the bar area and tables inside and outside. Decor was typical for these type of place. Plenty of parking as well. Will I be back? Maybe if drinks are better.

There really wasn't anything wrong with the pot pie, it just didn't taste as good as I had hoped, so I didn't eat much of it. Our waitress noticed I didn't eat much of the pot pie and asked me if there was anything wrong. I told her that in my opinion, it didn't have much flavor and that I didn't care for it. Next thing I know, the manager Clark comes over and tells me he wants to take the pot pie off my bill. I told him that it wasn't necessary, that I did eat some of it and I should pay for it. He insisted to take the pot pie off my bill. Said he wanted his customers to be happy. He then asked if my friend and I wanted to share a dessert and showed us the options. We chose the S'mores brownie. We didn't want a full size, so he offered a smaller option. The dessert came and it was very large to be a small serving.
