I was recommended this company by a friend and thank goodness! When I called I was greeted warmly and was able to discuss the problem with my slider with a person that understood what I was talking about. I was able to make an appointment the following week with a specific time not an open ended 6 hr window of time which really helps me plan the rest of my day! No a fit for every job. In response to my service inquiry the response from the company was..."we do not work in high rises." The reason given was staff related; the company doesn't deploy teams that are capable of handling the heavy hurricane resistant glass doors. Beware...probably okay for basic jobs. read more

Great does not adequately describe the outstanding service (quick response time), work (replacing rollers and weather stripping), and professionalism (Ken and Donna were polite, VERY knowledgeable and thorough). They happily talked me through the ins and outs of maintenance and repairs and gave me such useful tips! The cost was lower than I expected from the phone quote (partially due to them fixing my lock for free versus replacing it as I originally thought was needed). So reasonable!!! I can't thank them enough for being a true partner with me. After 2 days, I am still beaming and amazed at the difference they made for me. I couldn't really open my door prior to their work (too much drag) and now - a one finger slide!!!! I have already recommended them to friends, who will be calling them. Wow! They're the best forget the rest! We called Slider Medic this week to help with our aging sliders. They were able to come out the next day and take care of us. Unfortunately we live 2,500 miles from our home but that was not a problem as Donna and Ken were able to show themselves in and walk us thru everything they were observing (even sent photos) and repairing. This business deserves 10 stars for their service and professionalism. Donna and Ken arrived on time as promised. They worked neatly and efficiently. They clearly explained the issues with the door. They replaced the single rollers with double rollers which are a higher quality and design then the original. The new rollers are maintenance free! They also repaired the track which was worn from our old steel rollers. Before they arrived, it took a lot of muscle to open and close the doors. Now the doors open and close with one finger. I should have called them years ago. I would highly recommend you call Slider Medic. You will be smiling as big as we are right now! read more
