The buffalo chicken wrap was one of the best things I've ever had top tier chicken the lettuce was excellent

You can get faster service and fresher food at ANY other CLOSED location...and I mean every word.

I haven't eaten here in a while, but when I noticed the location in Jacksonville, I decided to try it one night. I was surprised to see chicken and waffles on the menu, which I love, so I ordered it. I was very surprised by the flavor. It was pretty good. I've better, but this was quite good. However the lemonade I ordered with it, was not. My only hiccup was the service. I ordered and paid via drive thru and was told to pull around to a parking spot to pick it up. I was waiting for a good 15 minutes. And the car that was behind me, who was also told to pull around and park, got their food before I did. If the food isn't going to be ready quick enough, don't have a drive thru. I have been here several times recently and their farm fresh salads are excellent. Have had their cookie dough crisp shake 5 times, the first 3 were excellent. The last 2 only had 2 sips in the entire drink which contained the cookie dough nuggets, and it was a tiny nugget. Not sure why this has happened, last 2 were prepared by different workers. I can get a vanilla shake anywhere. Fried chicken sandwich overcooked, dry chicken and bottom bun broken in half so all the tomato and lettuce, which was on the bottom, was hanging out. Fries nothing special, no salt or seasonings, can buy bag of frozen at WM for a lot less. read more

There was parchment paper inside my sandwich - I did not eat any, caught it before it was too late. The paper wasn't sucking out the side for me to see, it was deep inside my sandwich. The food was otherwise pleasant. Max and cheese is devoid of any real flavor. Coleslaw was way over spiced. Potato salad was bland. The desserts are good! Lemonade was watered down. Hopefully they can fix some of these issues. The menu looks promising and has potential. read more

Driving through on vacation on Sunday night and we're looking for some quick dinner. Found this place after driving through traffic forever. We had to wait a bit but it was worth it. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. The cayenne ranch with tenders and fries was awesome! The restaurant was clean and everyone working there polite. I would definitely recommend stop again if the opportunity presents. read more

By far the worst Slim's I've ever been to. 1. The girl that was taking orders / working the register inside last night (6:30-8:00 5/19/23) might need a drug test.. we witnessed her make several customers shake their heads and look around like what the hell is going on / what is she talking about. 2. Y'all were out of tea and lemonade. Several people were filling up their raspberry lemonades while the top was off of the dispenser... turns out yalls employee hadn't completed her job. She was seen filling the machine up with pitchers of water after people had refilled their cups. 3. We ordered a large Mac n cheese and received it in a plastic to-go bowl.. when we requested a lid for it, somehow between the cash register and kitchen the girl forgot what a "lid" was called and struggled to get the words out to even ask the kitchen for a "lid".. "ayy Devon do we have those things that go on top of the mac n cheese". Turns out she said y'all were out of "lids". She gave us a greasy small lid that had obviously been used, and didn't fit the large bowl. 4. This was the 1st time I've ever questioned if the chicken was cooked at Slims.. it was super chewy and a little pink on some of the strips - at this point I took a hard pass on dealing with the girl working the front counter. Seems like a nice girl but y'all may want to put her in the back or on cleanup duty, instead of being the face people talk to. 5. One of your employees was taking a break, eating a nice Slims "Specialty meal" (this wasn't your ordinary order.. he made sure he hooked it up for himself, cheese on tenders, all the sauces, etc) that was most likely prioritized before paying customers. No cares that customers were standing around waiting on food, or the girl up front was having trouble speaking. I started eating at Slims in Fayetteville in college 15 years ago.. this is by far the worst Slims I have ever been to, and will never go back again. read more

Went there September 13th! IT IS FINALLY OPEN!!! I was so excited!!! I was on my way to the one in Cabot and decided to drive by to see if it was open yet, as it has been falsely advertised open for business on Facebook for a few weeks now. I saw cars in the drive thru and people standing around outside. YAY!!!! So I pulled in the drive thru, was offered a menu, and already knew I wanted to order the family pack, and they turn around to consult the boss who says they can't do a family pack! Then we were told to please pull up in the drive thru. When there was no one behind us and they clearly couldn't fulfill our order as requested. All the employees were outside with menus in hand to help people decide on what to order. All this excitement for a big let down. I'm sorry but if your going to open your business for the first day of operation, have your act together and allow customers to order from the full menu, including the family pack. Or at least give us a reason why. I don't know how I'm going to get over this blunder. So I decided to post this right away as the first official posting for this location. I love slims and haven't ever had a bad experience here until tonight. We came with a small group to eat and this lady had a bad attitude from the start. Every time she took an order she rolled her eyes and was slamming stuff down in front of us. Don't know if she was having a horrible day or what but it was really rude. Her name is Jaliah. This is coming from an ex employee and I have to say it is very clean and organized it's just the people I wouldn't recommend eating the food past 8 because it's all going to be old but there are some bright side to the job mis.misty I love that lady she is nice all though she cut my hours knowing my situation but mis.misty is very respectful nice a completely honest but we the other managers have there days there a manger ikeia or however you spell it she shows u that anybody can be the manger there been multiple time I seen her come in to work not being able to walk straight because she was under the influence of something now Ree was very cool she just wanted u to be done with your job by 11 witch is completely understandable now Carmen has got a bad review before and they said she is the down fall of slim chicken and they weren't lying she is so rude treat everybody like there just nothing and makes coming to work a HELL but because I put my two weeks notice in they because they gave me two days on the schedule so I put my 2 weeks in and they took me off the schedule for next week seem like it would've been better for me to just quit witch is very unprofessional I would not recommend work there in less u want to criticized and talk about. read more
