My 3 year old and I came here back in March for a play date with a friend! We got here right when they opened, but they already had a large birthday party so it was kind of tough to hear the employees giving the instruction etc. They had so many different types of slime, scent, and the little add ins for texture, color, and toys. It was about a 30 min experience, but we were left alone for the most part because most of the employees were busy with the party. My kid had a wonderful time and the slime is still holding up so well (just now getting to this review almost 5 months later). I would definitely recommend this place, but try to go when it's not so busy so you can get the whole experience.

This was so cool! I took my 4 yo in to make slime and it was fun. We walked in without a reservation and the people working helped us with everything. It was $25 for a BYO slime, and it was completely worth it! I was so jealous of the slime my child had, that I went and made my own also! Will be back!

The kids had a fun time making slime here. So much better than doing it at home and making a mess lol We walked in, and they were able to get us started right away. Staff was friendly and patient with the kids. It was neat seeing all the optioned offered. Even though I don't appreciate my toddler playing with his slime at home, the Slime Kitchen was a fun experience.

Came in on a Friday afternoon and there was already a waitlist of an hour. They added us to the list and called us when our table was ready. There was about 4-5 employees working. Most were friendly and greeted us upon arrival. Throughout the slime making process, the team was helpful and made sure we understood everything. It's a bit overwhelming with so many options. The tables and stools are kid friendly, not so much adult friendly. Small and low to the ground, so be prepared if you plan to sit with the kiddos. So far the slime has held up and still in good condition after making it 4 days ago. We paid $25 for 1 slime session. You can pick your own slime type, scent, color, textures, and other included mix-ins and toppers. There are additional add-ons for an up charge. You can also walk-in to buy pre-made slime kits, they have quite a bit of options to choose from. Overall, it's a fun experience for the kids. My niece loved it! If the kiddos like slime, I recommend checking this place out. They accept small and large groups. I recommend making a reservation if you plan to go during busy times or have a large group. Great addition to the Reno Public Market area, located on the outside storefront between RPM and Sprouts, next door to Beloved's Bakery & Cafe.

We were here for a kids birthday party. It was pretty well organized. The kids had a blast. Someone cancelled at the last minute, so there was an empty space that had already been paid for. My son in law volunteered! He doesn't like slime but saw how much fun the kids were having... never one to pass up a fun time and a chance to embarrass his 12 yr old daughter, he partook in the event

I loved the Slime Kitchen as much as my son did. Staff was super welcoming and informative; they walked us through all of the steps. Too bad this place wasn't here when my teenage daughter was younger. My kitchen was a slime kitchen when my daughter and her girlfriends went through their slime phases of trial and error. Lol! If you're going to play with the slime with your little ones, do grab an apron. I got glue all over my blouse. My son and I enjoyed our hour playing and making slime here. It's a little pricey, but we enjoyed it. They do sell gift boxes and pre-made slime; it'll make for a great gift. Overall, it was an awesome time and a great idea for a party for your littles. We look forward to coming back in the future. Thank you for an enjoyable afternoon.

Such a fun place! super friendly helpful staff, clean store. My kids has a blast. Downfall is the price. I paid $80 for 3 kids and it only entertained them for like 30 minutes

This was so much fun. I took a couple of kids with me to go make slime. They loved it. They got to pick their own scent and color. They got to add different textures too. The kids I took were 10/11. The staff were very nice and helpful. This was a more relaxing thing to do with tweens.

What a fun activity for the kids and adults! Making slime was so much fun for kids of every age! Cant wait to go back again! It's Slime!

My kids loved their experience at slime kitchen. It sparked creativity in each of them in different ways which was great to see in their slime creation. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We will be back!

My grandson and I stopped by here today around noon. The place was busy but not overly crowded or loud. We were helped quickly and were soon on our way to making some fun slime. There are aprons to protect clothing and small tables and chairs (work stations). The multi-step process is a lot of fun. You first get to choose which slime consistency you like. There were six to choose from. Next comes the added scents. I would guess there to be about 30 choices. We went with bubble gum but there are some fun ones which include "monkey farts" and "unicorn". Next is the color. The friendly young lady and (I'm assuming her mom) were very helpful and knowledgeable. My grandson has some sensory issues so when the slime got all over his hands and wouldn't come off, the lady took us to the sink in back, helped him get the slime off and told us how to work with the slime so it wouldn't be too sticky. She sprayed it with magic slime spray and it did the trick. After mixing comes the glitter or confetti. Then you have a choice of what kind of sensory stuff you want to add. A few of the choices include space sand, small squishy spheres, foam cubes and lots more. After that it's time for the three "toppings". There are so many cute figurines to choose from. My grandson chose a Starbucks cup, Pikachu and an airplane. Overall, this place is a total blast. We were in and out in 30 minutes but you could definitely spend some more time making choices. I hope this place excels in the area. Check it out.

We went here on Friday night 35 minutes before the close the store. It was nice because only my niece, me and the store associate. We looked around and directions are pretty clear for me and my 11 year niece. The store associate guided us step by step on how we will do it. Of course my niece is a big fan of slime she knows what she wants. My downside, the tables are only catered for smaller kids ages 3-7, my niece has to bent over in a awkward way. Maybe the bin is too big to carry it all the time, I might see that as a problem when the place is crowded. The spacing of toppings might be close to each other it could have been spread all over the place. She chose the flavor bubble gum, but I don't smell the bubble gum maybe that's me. My niece only complain was that the gems are limited to her liking. We didn't realize on the other side of the wall that they have pre-made slime, honestly I feel the choses are even better. We ended up buying the Kuromi slime. There can be some room for improvements, because the place is huge. I would recommend to try it with your little ones, but make sure to be prepared with the prices. I paid for two $43 dollars, I included with tip cause the store associate was super nice and sweet to us. But it's up to everyone if they want to tip if they got the service they needed. Oh at the end of it, The associate put a glitter on my niece's slime I don't know if that is included. but that was a nice touch.

This is our favorite family activity ! The only thing that my son (11) and daughter (8) can agree to doing together.

This is our favorite family activity ! The only thing that my son (11) and daughter (8) can agree to doing together. Plus the slime kitchen has such a wonderful venue , with lovely scents, all the colors and fun things to make the slime extra unique and special. I love that once home these are great for stress (for me) and just fun to play with at home. If you are a parent with kids I highly recommend trying it.

The food was surprisingly good. I tried the chicken wings with their hottest sauce and couldn't stop licking my fingers. They were perfectly crispy and came with a nice side of fries and healthy veggies to dunk in the ranch. The sauce was balanced with a good punch of vinegar and a nice kick of heat and the service team really knew the menu well so they helped guide us to some great selections. The mini golf being themed around our city was a fun time too, and I loved the addition of the Joker, which makes each whole play a little different and the game of mini golf a whole lot more interactive. I loved how it would encourage. Encouraged you to connect with the people you're playing with talk to them and strategize around how to leverage these advantages to help you win. Now the darts was a big surprise. This fancy tech driven dartboard that they have includes a bunch of super fun games that make darts approachable for any person. I'm not a Dart player. Maybe I've thrown one a few times but the variety of games they offer made it super fun. We crashed castles and spaceship ships and played team games in individual games in the our past and all of us were like oh no is it over? Seriously, put Birdeez on your radar for a good time. You won't be disappointed.

Paul and Jenny McFarlane in spaceman blue jumpsuits gave each arrival a warm greeting and split up the touring and questions (even knowing quite a bit of misc questions like solar sunrises and astronaut training -having been to actual space camps) with other workers in blue uniform-shirts/vests. We came due to a pre-opening tour and special film announced on a school flier. (I'm very tempted to recruit my own group of 20+/- friends to run a mission with!!) They have mainly been focused on educational programs through schools with their portable dome or trailer, but with this location can offer an even broader offering of space experiences! Took a bit to find: Located at the Sparks High School campus in (one of many brick buildings) building N7 (look on the doors) on the back/East side of campus. Closest parking is if you park near or under the solar panels next to the modular buildings. They have a banner above their entry door with a side-rear view of the football stadium. Inside: The small foyer has stairs leading up to a classroom area and a short hallway before turning the corner into the "Mission Command station" area (lots of computer terminals that simulate the real space station control you see in movies). A connecting room is where the "Space station" is that has various areas like med bay, air lock/containment, pilot control, etc. There is also a mobile unit (I saw it at the Balloon Races last year) that hosts feature presentations including interactive flight/air races/ space trips (and more I'm sure). I also spied two techy 'Easter eggs' like a Star Trek intercomm (that makes true-to-series sounds) and Hal 9000-like A.I. unit (which I'm told interacts like Siri). A back open multi-purpose area with folding chairs and tables is where they showed a Nasa feature film (not Imax, go to the theater or planetarium if want that show) on a big screen TV and did a small Q&A session. It also has a spacesuit stand-in for kicks and picture posterity. There is only one unisex old-school (literally) bathroom complete with flashing flourescent light (it's the type you have to turn it off then on again to get it to stop but we all know it's not worth the effort and you could be done and out by the time get it right). While not the newest or high-techist looking place they did a great deal under a tight opening budget and I am excited to have a program like this here! Highly endorse!! Various classes and modules can be found on their website.

Our instructor did a great job of showing us around the facility before jumping right into the lesson. We started by warming up and then practicing some light falls before jumping into different techniques for bouldering in the starting room (also known as the children's room). Next, we went out to the main room and chose some beginners routes to climb. Finally, we finished by getting our harnesses on (also provided if needed) and clipping into the autobelay devices on the full climbing wall outside. After our lesson concluded and she gave us pointers to work on, our instructor let us know we had a day pass and could stay as long as we wanted since we paid for the class. She also let us know that they have monthly events like ladies night and DJ night that can be booked online or via phone call.
