    Making Slime

I absolutely love the Slime Kitchen. We went for the first time a few weeks ago and was impressed with the service. I planned a last minute birthday celebration for my 3 year old and invited 15 friends ranging from 2-6 year olds and couldn't have been more impressed with the amount of time and care taken into making it an unforgettable experience for my daughter. Marley, Haleigh, and Brissia were all so wonderful and patient with all of the guests. I am beyond grateful for the wonderful experience. The owner Leanne was also amazing. Communicated with me through out until the day of and even gave me her personal number for any questions. I recommend this place to everyone I meet with little ones.

What an awesome place for kids! We stumbled upon it online-I called to make reservations-Kayla was awesome And said to come on in-she greeted us warmly and was excellent at explaining the procedure to the kiddos-she had so much patience! they had so much fun creating their own slime! It Made their day!

That was really fun. Make your own slime. My kid likes it and asking come back again.

    Having funn with her slime

Decided to spend my daughters birthday weekend in south Tahoe. We decided to come to Slime Kitchen. We were greeted with one of their amazing employees (D'Angelo). He helped us create her masterpiece of a slime one step at a time ensuring maximum fun. Before leaving we found out they made special birthday cupcake slime and she loved it! Thank you so much Hailey and D'Angelo for making my daughter's birthday special!

Amazing customer service, my kids had fun. Definitely recommend coming here for a fun family activity

Following each time with her slime, she let Hailey know when she ready to move on (if Hailey had not already checked in with her).

Truth be told, I think he was way more excited about IHOP than riding a gondola that might've been the biggest smile I saw out of him all morning! Being the thrill seeker and adventurer that I am, I managed to score us tickets for 10:30 a.m., even though they normally don't start running until noon. After weaving through a little bit of a scramble in line, we were on our way. The ride up is absolutely stunning. I grabbed some great photos and videos, shot an awesome time-lapse from the observation deck, and even filmed a YouTube video on the ride back down. One of the employees noticed what I was doing and kindly moved me into one of the fully clear gondola cabins. That made all the difference, and I really appreciated it. The climb is incredible. You slowly glide for what feels like a mile and a half or two miles, soaking in the scenery, and then the last stretch shoots almost straight up the mountain. Talk about breathtaking! Between the views of Lake Tahoe, the mountains, and the gondolas passing by, it was hard to put the camera down. One of my favorite moments happened on the observation deck. I was filming a time-lapse when I noticed a guy taking pictures of some people, but he wasn't getting the lake in the background. I couldn't help myself I walked over, got everyone lined up, included the lake behind them, and snapped the shot. Before I knew it, I'd taken pictures for seven different groups... and another one on the way out. My son finally looked at me and said, "Dad, why do you have to take everybody's picture?" I just smiled and told him, "Well... I am the photographer." Fantastic staff, amazing atmosphere, unbelievable views, and we even got a great deal. If you're visiting Lake Tahoe, this is an experience you absolutely shouldn't miss.

Definitely a beautiful view of the lake. For the price $89 for ONE adult. Sightseeing only. Definitely was price gouging. First stop observation deck. Then the final top stop had some additional adventures for more additional money if you wanted to do. Walking around at the top and rock mining for little kids to play with dirt and rocks for $25 was over the top. Then if you needed to eat the basic bar foods. That's outrageous priced. Unless it's for skiing I wouldn't make the trip back up here.

Toys were visibly dirty, old, and worn looking, almost as if they were donated as opposed to being purchased brand new. I noticed a child putting some of these toys in her mouth. I do believe they should replace alot of these toys with new ones. I just thought I'd check it out for my son who is 1 1/2 years old and see if there was a place he could burn some energy and be around some kids his age. There are different age groups that play, so keep your eye out on your little ones to prevent them from getting trampled by the older kids. Service was great. Everyone was pleasant. But unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Well maintained and with plenty of variety for activities - from a trampoline, jungle gym, play kitchens, and a larger sitting/reading area, there's plenty to do for little kids for at least 1-2 hours. Prices are very reasonable. Parking is adjacent and plentiful. Owner is a mom whose own kid is using the facilities, so you can tell she puts a lot of love and care into the place since she spends quite some time there herself. Felt as though cleanliness and hygiene was excellent. No issues. Highly recommended! Come visit!

A day session is $25 but they have a cheaper rate for certain drop in hrs so ask if you have flexibility. There is also a sauna which is lovely. The only downside is that it is very small. I went for bouldering only and it's one large room and that's it. It was fine for 1-2 sessions but if I'm a regular, I'd really want a bigger gym with more routes. That said, any rock climbing gym in the community is always a big big plus for me!

Nightlife in Tahoe? Climbing gym :)…read more I love checking out climbing gyms wherever I go, and I thought Blue Granite was pretty good! Disclaimer: this is only based on my one time experience here. The gym is located a bit of outskirts of town but since I stayed a bit out, it was only 5 mins drive. Super cute building sitting in a forest, small parking lot but I didn't have trouble finding parking. Workers are required to give you a tour of the gym and mine was very friendly and thorough. The gym has little touches here and there to make it special. There is a partner board where people leave their information and names, how cute is that? Also, I enjoyed browsing through the climbing artworks they displayed in the hallway. Lastly, I loved how they up-cycled ropes for bathroom curtains. The route settings are fun! Since the wall space is precious, the settings can be compact. Lots of different colors of holds to identify and read. I'd say the grading is somewhat on the same level of Movement gyms in the bay, so slightly harder than the touchstones. The vibe is chill and friendly, not super packed, kids aren't running around, I personally got tired of the music towards the end though, but that was it. I didn't get to try their yoga/Lyra/Dance classes, but it's so cool they offer those especially Lyra or Aerial classes which you may have to pay $40-$50 for in the Bay Area. Will definitely be back!
