My interactions were primarily with Rob (the owner) and Dave, but all the staff were very friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with. The communication was fantastic and any questions I had throughout the process were explained in detail that was easily understood. My insurance company did not make the process easy, but Auernig made me feel that I had someone looking out for me, and they weren't willing to cut corners to make a quick buck. These are truly honest, nice people that work with integrity, which is hard to find in the auto repair industry these days. In February of 2025, I was hit by an SUV that was hit by a truck driver, who was on the phone and not paying attention. Thankfully, no-one was hurt, and it was determined that since the truck driver was at fault my insurance would cover the cost of the repair. I went to the repair shop with the best reviews, Diamond Auto Body, in South Reno. after assessing the damage, the employee (whose name I shall not disclose) pronounced the car totaled...hmmm, it was driving fine and the damage was cosmetic. He also said the work would take about a month to complete. I called back to tell them I wanted to begin the repair and that it would be covered by my insurance. I was met with crickets. Three times. I also was told that this particular employee moved to their other location, which received terrible reviews. I was pretty distraught. I mentioned the situation to James at Village Auto. He highly recommended I contact Justin. Justin and his team not only did great work in under the amount of time Diamond assessed, but went to bat for me when my insurance tried to force me to accept a pittance because THEY were trying to total my car out. After Justin spoke with them, we were good to go. They gave my car a nice detailing inside as well...I fell in love with my car all over again! My car was very clean when I dropped it off at the dealership. Niello agreed to fix these issues and sent my vehicle to a body shop called Vivid Auto Body. Let me be clear--this body shop absolutely ruined my car. What started as a minor cosmetic fix turned into a complete mess. Vivid Auto Body is unprofessional and careless. They got overspray all over my rear windows, left scratches and overspray on the taillights, and even managed to apply runny paint. It's shocking that Niello Audi would do business with such a low-tier, unprofessional shop. Vivid Auto Body is completely unqualified, and I wouldn't trust them with any vehicle. Do yourself a favor and stay far away. Shame on Niello for partnering with such a sketchy operation. This is Ghetto work!
