I've been hit by you crazy drivers a few times and every time I've gone to PJ's. Most recently, I was having a horrendous experience with Geico. They were cheap, rude, and completely lost the meaning of customer service. The only shining light in this ordeal was PJ's. Sherra is probably the best receptionist/front office/wonder woman in any company. She's sweet, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and funny. She was able to keep me smiling in a situation that was not pleasant and kept me informed when I was worried. Johnnie is awesome. He makes you feel comfortable; he totally has your back. He made sure my ONE year old car was refitted with OEM parts and not the refurbished parts cheap old Geico wanted to use. He and a couple of the guys even took the time to figure out why a screen in my car wasn't coming on when I picked it up. One of the awesome guys called Honda, they disconnected my battery, and voila! High fives all around :) They didn't have to do that as it really had nothing to do with the damages. That's what they do here! They go out of their way for their customers. So the next time one of you driving impaired sweethearts hits me, I'll be back at PJ's. I was helped quickly and without delay, I was asked to come by for a free estimate immediately and so I did. They should get 10 stars, but 5 will have to do. I have insurance problems, and they have been so helpful, all my hair would have fallen out by now if the front office hadn't been able to explain what's about to happen. This accident totaled my parked car. My out of pocket has been killing me, and they have given me tips to get money back from the bank and yhe insurance company. Go get gap insurance now, and always have rental car coverage. The insurance company will try to talk you out of it, or not offer it. Get it anyway read more

I made an appt yesterday to have a used truck I was considering purchasing inspected for safety and quality of repair because it was a salvage title vehicle. I chose this place based on the Yelp rating and reviews I read. I totally agree with all the positive feedback and the other 5star reviewers' comments. John and the woman at the front desk were both very knowledgable and informative with sharing interesting facts and behind the scenes details about insurance company methods and telling me what to look out for. He was specific and very thorough with his inspection. His assessment was unbiased, direct and to the point, and professional. Even though i wasn't a returning customer, I got the feeling he genuinely was looking out for my best interest, and it was apparent that he knew what he was talking about. Over all, I was impressed with the shop as a whole, it was kept clean and organized. Y'know they must be good since they were obviously busy and repeat customers were coming in constantly. John didn't have to take time out of his day to do this for me, but he did willingly and I appreciate it. You can tell when you meet someone who is authentic, honest, and has integrity.. that is the impression i got from him. I cannot speak more highly of P.J.'s Auto Body. In 25 plus years I had no accidents, than, unfortunately had a string of bad luck. I was in 3 accidents; 08/2016, 11/2016 and 01/2017, all within a span of 6 months. As a single parent, these types of situations are very stressful in coordinating work, transportation and childcare, around scheduling repairs on my vehicle. My car was repaired after both of the first 2 accidents to exceptional condition. After both of those repairs, you would have never known the car was in an accident. The 3rd accident totaled the car. Navigating the process for all of these accidents could have potentially been much worse than they were. I accredit the ease of the outcomes to the owner, Johnny, Office Desk, Stephanie and all of the repair staff of P.J.'s Auto Body. Every time I would call, Stephanie and/or Johnny would always take the time to answer all of my questions as well as provide information. Never did anyone treat me like I was an intrusion. I took my 10 year old Jeep to PJ's to be repaired from a tire blow out (took off running board and side and back bumpers). The repair was so spectacular, people think I bought a brand new car!!! They even had to go the extra mile to get custom built running boards since the Jeep is so old. I can't tell you enough how much this place helped me when I was involved in a car accident. It was my first time ever being hit by somebody, and I really didn't know where to begin. I was on a road trip up north and had a small mishap with a tire tread that almost ripped my front bumper off. I stumbled upon PJ's to ask for assistance, and what luck that I ended up with what I would like to describe as the nicest most professional shop one could find. Keep in mind that Im not from Sacramento so I dont know if all of the shops are this way but I had a fantastic experience. They re-attached my bumper and sent me on my way free of charge. I had never personally used PJ's before, but my vehicle was T-Boned by an uninsured driver. Made an appointment with PJ's to have it looked at. I wasn't expecting that the appraiser missed so much. So, been working on cleaning my car out so that I can get it repaired. Long story short, I was ready to drop it off. I called 2x in one day with the promise of a phone call back. Never got a call. Phoned the next day and same issue. The owner would call me back. By 7 P.M. last night, I never received a call. Would have been customer, has decided to use Rick's Auto Body on Auburn Blvd. in Sacramento. Customer service is about communication. Obviously there is none at PJ's. Will NEVER recommend this shop. read more

PJ'S has the best customer service and they do a great job at restoring a vehicle to pre-accident condition. I recently was involved in another accident and was informed by Johnny that additonal work may be needed for my vehicle. Johnny was not sure until he took it apart. I received an email from my insurance that the additional work was authorized. Of course this scared me, thinking "Oh no, there will be more time involved." Johnny calls me not more than 20 minutes later to tell me that the additonal work was authorized. Already saddened that I was paying for my rental out of pocket now, I ask Johnny how much longer might it take and to my surprise he told me 11:00 the next morning. I was so happy and very grateful. Everyone at the office was very friendly, Johnny called me frequently with updates, and when I had difficulty getting in contact and getting assistance from the other party's insurance, Johnny went to bat for me to help get it resolved.
