But the best is the display of sample quilts and projects hanging on the walls to inspire those of us who love to sew! When Ray Cataneo sold this company we all worried because you know how that goes when someone else takes over a company or product usually they make cutbacks on ingredients or change up the recipe. We were elated to learn that they had no intention of changing the recipe and continued the product on even adding more options and branching out into other things like paraphernalia nuts and dried fruits. The Cataneo name has been in good hands and hopefully will be for a long time. There is no jerky or sausage that can beat it in quality. My personal favorite has always been the extra thin cut teriyaki.

My home has always had a touch of Apple Farm in it somewhere. This is the "mother house" of that happy accent of country whimsy. What don't I love? Entering from the parking lot side, taking in the latest season's collection of decor on the porch, framed by boisterous flower beds of colorful blossoms, gets me in the mood. Upon walking in the door, I normally hear, "Welcome to the Apple Farm", and the magic continues. Our last visit was the Friday at the start of Labor Day Weekend. Bits of fall and Halloween decorations were starting to make an appearance on the porch eaves. Upstairs, outdoorsy themes were on display, including a tribute to bicycling and camping.
