It opened a bit later than the other stores, so spent a bit of time waiting at the shop across the street. The stop ended up being successful, with my wife picking up a tea cloth with Morro Bay embroidered on it. I enjoyed looking at the various coast art, many of which showed the iconic Morro Bay with the Rock behind it.

I'm glad I finally got a chance to check it out. The worker (I'm going to assume was the owner) was super sweet and very helpful. She was hand making bags to put all your goodies in and they were so cute. I ended up getting a few things so I got some that I'm going to regift. They have trinkets and gifts for every kind of person. There's cards, jewelry, art, products from locals and there was even a kid section. I found several things for myself as well as presents for others. I actually had to stop myself from spending too much, I wanted it all. This is definitely a store to check out - I'm sure they have something for everyone!

We went by the other day on a foggy day. It was shortly before Christmas and we wandered around the beautiful rooms to admire the housewares. The building is very inviting to begin with because it's wood and has brick flooring throughout. Everything is displayed artistically with lots of space and in a manner that you might use it in your own home, it's like walking from one beautiful dining room to another beautiful area of a home. I started adding pottery from the Garden Gallery to my collection of housewares and they have served me well over the years because they're always such high-quality. I always get joy from using them The designs and colors are always tasteful and they really go well with any decor. More than that, the way the objects are displayed together is truly artistic and never fails to inspire me!

The owner remembered us when I told her about the ring I had bought last visit. That same jewelry designer had other button jewelry on display here. They were having a sale on everything there, which was great. I ended up finding a cute mini wallet as a gift for a friend and a tiny stuffed cat that resembles my own cat. Both items were a great price. I'm so happy we stopped by here.

They sell clothing, scarfs, beanies and gloves as well as jewelry. The store is nicely decorated and the displays are lovely. The prices are not too terrible either. I found a really nice pair of gloves for myself. The owner was very sweet. She let us know that there was going to be a Christmas boat light parade later that day. I bet it was a lot of fun.

I'd called today to hopefully get some information about a purse/wallet I'd seen another lady my…read moreage carrying and she'd said she got it at Poppy. (I live about 40 minutes away and wanted to find out if they still carry it before making the drive). Apparently the clerk I got on the phone was, unfortunately the same one that has gotten several negative reviews. She sounded older, think she said her name was Martha. I hadn't even finished telling her what I was looking for, and she cut me off, saying "Could you please call back, thank you" and hung up on me! Just like that! Not sure I want to make an hour and a half round-trip if she's going to be running the store, and I don't even know if they have what I want! Owner needs to consider either having a serious talk with her, or letting her go (hopefully she isn't the owner!)
