Absolutely love this studio! The workouts are challenging, effective, and so much fun. Carly and all of the instructors are incredibly welcoming, motivating, and knowledgeable. Every class leaves me shaking in the best way possible. The atmosphere is amazing, the community is supportive, and the workouts never get boring. I was hooked after my first class and now can't imagine my routine without it. It was so much fun! We went while we were on a bachelorette trip in San Luis Obispo and it was so much fun! The instructor was so sweet and energetic. They were so happy to have us. It was also a clean facility and the workout was tough but still beginner friendly. If we come back to SLO, we'll definitely come back! They made our visit so special! read more

I have been going here since they opened in October! Since starting reform Pilates I've noticed a big change in my physical and mental health. No matter how stressed I walk in, I leave centered and balanced and feeling strong. The classes are almost an hour long, and they teach me discipline and toning in a way I could never do on my own. My fav instructor is Lauren Shannon, she really knows what she is doing and she somehow always chooses perfect words that help me tune in and get a great workout. Though all the instructors are wonderful though! If I skip one week, I will feel it on the next class. The perfect frequency for me is 2-3 times per week; I highly recommend it. Even my husband noticed a difference in my physique and keeps encouraging me to as he loves the results too. So, if you're thinking about it, just go for it!! I started when they first opened and went to about 70 classes. Some of the instructors were very well trained and awesome, but as the months went on, new instructors were hired with noticeably less experience and arguably could use additional training. I also found that with a 50-minute class, there is not enough time blocked out in between classes - only 10 minutes, without a waiting room. (Especially if there are only 3 classes for the whole day - why not space it out a bit more?). The main reason I stopped going was because the studio was not cleaned very well. There were always hairs and dust under and around the machines. I'd expect the studio to be at least vacuumed once a day for the price they are charging. If it is, you need better cleaners. On top of that - they ask that you wipe down your machine after class. This is fine and good; however, I noticed a lot of people would hardly wipe anything down and I felt grossed out before a class on a used machine that was wet with disinfectant or partially wiped down only 5 minutes before. If the classes were just spaced out by 20 minutes, the instructor on staff properly wipe down the 10-12 used machines before the next class, that would make this studio a much more upscale place for little effort. I also did not like that some of the participants would film themselves from their reformers - instructors wouldn't tell them not to. This made me uncomfortable. This place was a great vibe otherwise! Anyway, I have moved on to a different studio. I thought I would leave this note as a tip. read more

Took my first class on Sunday and was so nervous, but it ended up being such a great experience. The class size and ambiance are perfect, and each instructor I've had has been fun and welcoming. Pilates is definitely challenging, but it's what you make it and they make it feel super beginner-friendly with no pressure. So glad I chose this studio. Slo x Form is an amazing studio! I became a member in January and am the strongest I have ever been. The classes have really helped me gain strength in my core and legs especially. The instructors are all so nice and caring of each person in the room. They are always happy to answer questions that I may have or give me pointers if they see me doing something wrong. They are very well prepared for each class and make every class fun. The studio is also always clean and well kept. I am so thankful I found this studio, it has truly been amazing! I've been a member of this studio since it's start and it's a place I truly feel I belong! All of the instructors are nice and welcoming. The workouts challenge me and make me feel so strong. I highly recommend SLO X Form. I had never done Pilates of any type before and after trying out one class I got the unlimited 2 week membership. All of the instructors I have had so far are amazing and very supportive. The studio is very nicely done and is a great atmosphere. I had such a great experience at SLO x FORM! I took a class with Lauren, and she struck the perfect balance between challenging and accessible. The workout definitely pushed me, but she offered thoughtful modifications so that even as a newer student, I felt comfortable and supported. Lauren's energy kept the class motivating, and the studio itself is beautiful, clean, and welcoming.
