Love this place! The owners are awesome and really know their stuff. They have put their hearts and souls into the place and you can tell! The wines they produce are awesome, haven't found one I don't like. They now have their own ports, which are tasty, but not your average heavy port. Much lighter, but still tastes good. The tapas menu they offer is delicious as well. All of the choices are awesomely yummy. But the best thing on their menu is the wine ice cream, excuse me, wine ice cream? Yes and it is so yummy. Atmosphere: Very cozy, well decorated for the holidays, really did not want to get up and leave into the cold! Service: Very very friendly, enjoyed chatting with them as well. Service was excellent! The tasting room was very well-staffed. Wine: We had two glasses of their two different cabs in the tasting room - both fantastic!!!!! Wow! Food: We only ate the stuffed dates, which were a perfect blend of sweet and savory. Parking: Since this is in old downtown, we did not see any designated area for parking here. They charged the card wrong, would only serve us by the glass while everyone else received flights... when asking the staff they said "honestly I have no excuse so don't ask". Appears to be short handed. Waited a long time to place order and my pizza sat at the service counter for 10 minutes before I said something. By then there was a build up up 3-4 pizzas at the counter. Pizza was Luke warm and I was never offered pepper flakes or parmesan. The establishment is nice and clean. Their new location is a vast improvement over the prior location. Being directly on Main Street is a lot better than a block off. We came in for a tasting and a bite to eat. The meat and cheese tray we received was massive! With three types of cheeses, three types of meat, two types of olives, hummus, crackers, toasted bread, jam, mustard, grapes, and a few other items... This was a real deal for only $15! They have multiple types of wines for you to try. We did the wine tasting for reds and were not disappointed. The new facility is well appointed and very relaxing. They have multiple televisions for sports fanatics. You can bring your husband and he will not be bored! Previous visits got us great detail on how the wines were made and where the grapes were sourced. Our last visit we found that the attendants were too busy to chat. However, that is pretty typical for this area. As always in this area, beware of parking. It can be a challenge. However, this place should be a stop on your wine tour in Grapevine. This gem in Grapevine is a special place. We visited durig Grapefest 2016 and it was super clean and cool (90 plus outside). The selection was fantastic. Things as a guy i noticed. 1. Free water . A wine bar down a few doors was charging us 2 dollars a bottle. (Huge issue with that) it was 93 degrees outside. 2. A huge tv screen, I would watch the game while my wife enjoyed the selections. 3. They have a really great happy hour where their flatbreads and other bites are on happy hour! As of August 2015, S&W moved about a mile and is not situated in the heart of downtown Grapevine, right on Main St. The interior is very well appointed- exposed brick walls, ceiling rafters, and a super cool bar with plenty of house wines. I had a glass of the cab sav and it was delicious ($9). There's a healthy selection of whites, reds and a blush or two to choose from. There's also a nice tapas menu with several gnosh items to enjoy with your drinks. The service was excellent, very friendly staff. I can't wait to come back again and try something new. You can take bottles home if you find a favorite. My wife and I had a great time, and had one suggestion- felt like the ambiance would have been improved with some background music (if they were playing something it was not loud at all). They do have live music in Friday and Saturday- looked like mostly acoustic stuff but still cool. On a Sunday evening there was a decent crowd inside. Perfect for larger groups too! The winery itself is very nice. Even with social distancing requirements, the staff were able to function and work efficiently. However, I am not a fan of being told I can get a sample of 2 wines to decided from to get a bottle and then being charged for them without being explained exactly that. When the server discussed the option of trying out 1-2 each, he made it seem as though it was just to help us out in selecting what wine we were going to purchase. I did not find out until after leaving while reviewing my receipt that was emailed to me, that I was charged for sampling. Not only was I charged for sampling the wines, but the cost of sampling 4 wines was more that the cost of a tasting for 4 wines (which they were not doing tastings that day). The owner reached out to me about my experience and made efforts to correct the miscommunication of charges. This is a great location with great staff. Well worth the visit. read more

Came in for after dinner drinks on a Saturday night and had a great experience. The decor is warm, inviting and the service is fantastic. This place defines what a good relaxing night out with friends should be. I had a saviougn blanc white wine that was light & crisp. My friends had different flights of their port and red wines. I have been here a few times now. Day and night. What can I say? Great date spot, or a spot to meet up with friends. The food is fantastic, and did I mention they have wine ice cream!!! You can try flights of wine or just get a bottle of your favorite one. You won't want to stay for just a glass. I have had their figgy piggy flatbread and it is so delicious, and the signature platter is a great option to for the whole table. I've sampled most of their wine ice creams, but the port is the one worth noting in my book. As far as wines, triplicity is one of my favorites. Go out and enjoy this great spot! read more

This is a great place. We just happened to see it and stopped in and they have great wine, friendly staff, and live music. They offer some small plates to snack on but it's mainly about the wine. The owner came and talked to us and was extremely nice. I will be back. The nice thing about the music was it wasn't overbearing where you couldn't hold a conversation but it was a good band. We went here on a Saturday night around 9:30. We order a couple of flights of wine. The four samples for each of us arrived without any labels so we have 8 glasses of wine and cannot keep track of which ones were which. They REALLY need to provide some way of labeling each glass. We ordered from their tapas menu. About 20 minutes later, still no food. We call the server over and she suddenly tells us that the chef has already left and she will go back and prepare our food now. She offered to go make it and we declined since we were hungry and tired of waiting. At that point we were ready to just get out of there. The atmosphere is pretty good, a great place for group since they have lots of larger tables. The musician playing was excellent! Can't say we will ever go back though. The service was disappointing and I really had hoped we would have had a much better experience. read more
