My business partners and myself found this location to host events and get some great wine. The owners are fabulous people who welcomed us graciously. They have plenty of seating inside and outdoor area. The wine was delicious, we order several different bottles when we arrived and also ordered a few more to take home. Nice locations, great backgrounds for photos, plenty of parking as well. They even have a band on certain nights. Talk about discovering something on a whim!! We came here after a day of exploring at the nearby nature preserve not long ago. Of course we were needing sustenance after a fun day outdoors so we stopped by this place. I am not big on local wines, but really enjoyed their selection!! The owners are wonderful too. Even the bathrooms were pristine, clean and smelled of my favorite relaxing lavender. Great place to unwind after work or a workout, kick back and enjoy the vibes! I believe they do live music on certain days as well. We need more quaint wonderful places like this in the world! I have a few more wines to try so I will return to explore more. read more

Found out about Larue Vineyards through an event search on Yelp. I was not sure if I was going to go, but I am so glad that I did. After getting off the 35 the drive got really dark and windy. Finally I saw a lighted sign that said winery and I pulled in. The winery is at the end of a business strip mall. It is lit up with Christmas lights and an open sign. I was a little nervous to walk in, but I did to a warm welcome from everyone at the bar. The Larue vineyard is a small room that is just big enough for a bar, a bathroom, and a large tank and some barrels. The bar was pretty full of people, but I found a couple a seats. As soon as I sat down everyone went around and introduced themselves. I ended up talking to a couple and their daughter for most of the evening. The wine tasting started and I tried three wines and three reds. The best was the sweet red as it was naturally sweetened and was not syrupy sweet. The tastings were free, but you have to pay for glasses, which were only between $5-$6! Such a great deal for ample sizes of glasses of wine. I ended up buying a bottle of the red wine as it was super delicious! I definitely plan to come back on a Friday or Saturday night as the wine was awesome, the service was great, and the company was amazing and welcoming! Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon expecting to have a glass of wine and catch up with a friend and it turned out to be much more than that! The owners are so friendly and personable and took so much time and care to answer our questions about wine and to just talk about life. The wine and cheese plate were delicious and very reasonably priced. And the frozen slushies were so refreshing on a hot Texas day. Will definitely be back here soon! read more

The atmosphere is very relaxing. The wine is also very good. He went to a other winery with more expensive wine before this one and this one was by far better. Wines were ok all wines were from chili or California grapes. My wife and I didn't like any of the wines.

Local winery. All wine made on site. Owners are extremely welcoming and accommodating. i actually went here to meet up with some friends. i dont drink and there was no pressure for me to do so and i was not treated like a freeloader for hanging around. I brought in some coconut water and it was ok for me to drink it while everyone else drank wine. i did leave a tip for their hospitality. got a "tour" of how the wine is made. They have varieties of white and red wines all made in house. drink by the glass or buy a bottle. appetizers were available complimentary of the owners. wine is about $5 a glass (large wine glass) and i believe $12 a bottle depending on your selection. tips are welcome and i recommend it especially if you are not drinking. its a cute nook in a warehouse district and i hear owners have plans to expand and have larger area. nice place to have a conversation and meet new people. read more

My wife and I were looking for something adventurous to do when we stumbled upon Larue Vineyards. The location is a bit odd but shouldn't keep you from stopping by. The people are what make this place so great. Everyone was extremely friendly and inviting. It is very small inside but this forces you to mingle and visit with others. The wine is fantastic. My wife and I preferred the dry red. We hope to visit again sometime soon. read more

Lewisville finally has a winery! Great little start up facility located in Old Town. The owners are extremely friendly and informative, and truly have a passion for the wine they create. Upon entering the facility I was greeted with tastings of both their white and red wines, and I left with a bottle of each after staying for a couple glasses with my friends.
