That's when we noticed their tasting room tucked away on the side street. Later, we visited The People's Choice Tasting and tried all of their wine options -- they easily ranked in our Top 3! Afterward, our group went back to their tasting room, which is nicely designed and has a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, this time the sangria was served warm. We asked for ice and had to ask twice before getting it, which was a little disappointing. If that hadn't happened, I would have given them 5 stars. I definitely want to visit again when things aren't quite as busy and get the full tasting-room experience.

The bus group was a cool one too. After the 1st winery we were all happy and singing lol. The tour is around $150 per person and it includes 2 wineries (4 different wine tasting on each), a 3 full course meal at a steak house with 3 wine tasting at the restaurant and the bus trip to all the places. You get picked up at the embassy hotel at 5:30 and by 10:30 they are bringing you back. The restaurant was a disappointment. Last time the tour took us to a nice steak house. This time the place was a glorified TX Road house/sport bar and that is why I won't give them the 5 stars. But everything else was great and I will definitely do this tour again.

They grow their own delicious grapes right outside of the winery which makes for a nice photo opt. My husband and I were greeted at the door by host who escorted us a short distance to the gift shop where you check in for a $10 tasting and tour. You are provided with a menu with pre selected wine for the evening an our favorite was their very own Cynitanan wine that is made from the grapes outside the vineyard. The founder of Delaney Vineyards is a 3rd generation cotton farmer who followed his love and passion for wine. On the tour we were able to see fermentation tanks as well as their small bottling room where all the magic happens.

As someone trying to coordinate an event, timely communication is essential. The complete lack of follow-through made the planning process unnecessarily frustrating and left me with the impression that customer inquiries are not a priority. Even if the venue was unavailable, a simple response would have been appreciated.
