There were also chairs and tables outside. We found free parking nearby. The staff was super attentive and the wine was delicious. We liked all the wine we tried. This vineyard is very nice, we like their selections. We visited their Grapevine location and were greeted with smiles and friendly information. The service was great and the tasting was very enlightening. We purchased some new wines and felt they handled the volume of customers (Grapevine Festival Days) very efficiently. Went here for a wine tasting and this was our first stop. There are several places in grapevine . We chose this one because the website said "We offer small bites and Internationally known Askinosie Chocolate as a complement to your tasting for an additional fee." When we are wine tasting we don't want to drink on an empty stomach. When we get settled we learn that they don't have food. They gave an excuse that they were focused on closing a location. I think if you say it on your web site , you don't stop doing it because you're busy. read more

Make a reservation (requires payment) and call to ask about their process first. When we went on October 10, they were only allowed to do tastings and not sell wine by the glass (however, they are working to change that ASAP). COVID rules keep changing how businesses operate. Because it was only a tasting, we did not have to order food like many other places. Also, most wineries on Main Street do not take reservations (besides Farinas). As someone mentioned earlier in a one star review, it's a short tasting and not a place to sit and visit long with your group. The staff will move on with your next tasting if you are not done within a certain amount of time. Two of us were there for 45 minutes, and we were moved along towards the end, but it was plenty since we had planned to winery hop all day. We started with this place. They only have a few tables inside, so it's only considerate to make it a quick tasting and help them see more customers throughout the day. It's covid-friendly as well with tables spaced out nicely. It's a cute little place. I ordered two different bottles of red wine to-go after experiencing their all red wine tasting. If you are a Cabernet lover, you will enjoy the all red tasting! Then, you can hit up Wine Fusion across the street before moving to other places farther away (and in busier areas). 2019 Yelp 120 Challenge - #65 Grapevine Wineries are pretty impress and I am enjoying their southern charm. Bingham is a great winery for tasting with cute decor and a great history lesson about their back story. My husband and I did tasters and I couldn't decide if I wanted white or red wine but luckily they offered all. They offered a dry red flight ($15), dry flight ($10), and a sweet red flight ($10). Each tasting had a unique back story that provided an insight into Bingham's history. They also offer cheese and chocolate tasking and with every wine purchase you receive a monogramed Bingham wine glass. If you're in the mood for some delicious Texas wine, then I recommend checking out Bingham in Grapevine. You won't be disappointed. read more

My husband and I are locals to Grapevine and Main Street. We took a stroll down Main Street and decided to pop in at Bingham in hopes for an exquisite cheese platter and a glass of wine for hubby (I'm currently pregnant). For all the pregos- they do not offer anything but water, no sparkling water or any other beverage. We walked out with a $40 bill for 1 glass of wine and a "cheese board". This cheese board consisted of a basic cheddar block that was most likely purchased at Trader Joe's. Along with ritz crackers and Costco crackers. All for $20- which is unreal. Needless to say, we will stick to Messina Hof on Main Street. They're cheese board is well worth the price tag. read more

My mom and I included this location on our self made wine tour of Main Street. The lady who did our tasting was full of so much information and knowledge it was incredible. We learned all about the Bingham family and the wines they have. It was truly enjoyable. I rate this as one of the best wine experiences I've had. Now it's been a few months since I was there so maybe this is fixed but when we got our bill, I gave my credit card to her and she came back with the receipt... there was nowhere to tip!! No line to add a tip anywhere. Just the total charged. I didn't have any cash on me and my mother was already down the street when I paid so I couldn't get cash from her. I've been mortified ever since and swear when I go back I'm tipping that lady triple!! Yes I could have gone back later on in the evening to remedy the situation but the wine was really kicking in after a while and my motivation to walk all the way back there was gone. Just know I'm still mortified on the tipping and will make it right the next time I go in!!! read more

Bingham Family Vineyards tasting room is a 5 stars on atmosphere and service. With our tasting, we liked that someone came to your table and explained what you were drinking. Not all tasting rooms on Main Street Grapevine do this, so I like the service there...everyone was very friendly and helpful. I also like the atmosphere as well, so why do I give it three stars? Unfortunately, I did not feel that any of their wines were exceptional. There were a few reds like Tempranillo and Merlot that I liked, but even then I thought they were average. However, their white wines were below average. Their claim to fame is all of their grapes come from Texas. This sounds good in theory but it didn't translate into great tasting experience. Rachel took great care of me when I visited. It's nice to see people that are passionate about what they do. She certainly made me feel like I wanted to meet the Bingham clan and visit the vineyards (located around Lubbock). After she told me about the farming operation, the family of 11 children that all play a stringed instrument (hence the musical notations on the wine label), and a bit of history (why the Dugout wine is named thus), I was hooked and HAD to buy a few bottles. (I am a marketer's dream.) Price range on the wine is a little under $20. A tasting is $10. I think I tasted six wines with an extra sip thrown in because she had a bottle open. I asked about a discount when I purchased my three bottles and was told that if you bought six, the tasting was free. I kept with my purchase of three (the rose, a tempranillo, and the Dugout--red table wine). A great place to start if you're doing the 13 or so other wine tastings in downtown Grapevine. read more

The pours were ok; the automatic poorer was inconsistent. But that I'm ok with that. Our original server wasn't helpful at all. She just poured the wine and told us the name, without explaining the history behind the wine, which is the best part of a wine tasting. Birthday plans changed due to the freezing temps so we ended up here - I am SO glad we did! I'm now a member of their wine club (no fee, just buy the wine! More like a subscription than a club). We each got different flights, I went all red my wife had a mix with a rose and a white thrown in. We both ended up getting glasses of the Merlot - WOW! If you had doubts about Texas wine make a reservation for a tasting now! To say the wines here are exceptional would be an understatement. That's how good they are. They don't just drop a few glasses of wine in front of you either - with each pour came an education! They really know their wine. Very impressive to say the least. Service is fantastic as well. We would chat and sip, drink a little water and before you know it, the next wine is being explained and poured. The space is open, a little rustic, great pictures of the winery and people on the wall. A really great time! Highly recommend this place. We really liked this place and made a reservation but were told after 45 minutes that we were, "taking a long time with your tasting and we needed to leave because there's someone else waiting for your table". When we made the reservation an hour before we arrived we were not told there was a time limit on our tasting. We then asked for our check. Three minutes later another waitress told us that we we needed to hurry up and leave. We told her we were waiting on our bill and she left. Bottom line, if you're going to support a Texas Winery on Main Street in Grapevine go to Messina Hof!!!!! We live off Main Street and have been to just about every winery along it. While other Winery's off Main street offer cheese platters for $20 featuring a smorgasbord of options (jam, meats, cheese varieties, olives, nuts etc.) Bingham Wines offers an Oversized block of aged cheddar and two crackers (ritz and Kirkland crackers). This is an apples to apples comparison, to have the gumption to charge patrons $20 for cheese you took out of its wrapping and Lunchable style crackers is highway robbery. Come for the wine run from the cheese. They're a growing business and it'll be done all with their cheese ritz cracker racket. read more

We LOVE Bingham. Stumbled upon this great place when we were in Fredericksburg and were so happy to find that they had a location close to home. We joined their wine club and have really enjoyed all the great perks that come with it. We take the train to grapevine, and it's always our first stop when we get off. Absolutely fantastic variety. I'm not usually a white drinker, but their Cloudburst is out of this world. The ladies behind the counter are so knowledgeable and helpful. The facility itself is beautiful. Can I give bonus stars?! We went to Texas for Texas Wines not California! We went to 3 different tasting rooms before we got to Bingham and Bing-Go, I discovered a purple gold mine of wines. Our young, friendly wine educator CJ was a delight, as well as the gentleman who greeted us and a new host. We were shocked by the quality of these wines. French and Italian varietals grown in the high plains of Texas. Judgement of Texas anyone? Their wine would stand up to any Napa wine in a blind competition! Oh and I don't want to forget the Bingham family of 13 (11) kids are one of the only winegrowers in the state, selling their fruit to other winemaking entepeneurs in Texas. Such a beautiful tasting room in Grapevine! We were visiting Texas from California and heard that Grapevine was a cute town to visit. Bingham Family Vineyards was our first stop. The woman who was working was so kind and invited us in and explained the tasting flights. As we were tasting she told great stories about the Bingham family and their wines and it added so much charm to their already delicious wine. She also had great recommendations for other places to visit in Grapevine. We ended up purchasing the Petit Verdot and the Turnrow, though we really liked all of the wine we tasted. I have never experienced a worst wine tasting. The customer service was by minimum sub-par. First we were asked if we "have had too much" during wine fest... wine fest..... we are shuttling in from a hotel and no DD is required. Next if you believe I am "too intoxicated" you should of never served me... Second the wine presenter had to READ from the bottle to tell us "how great the wine was" I'm sorry people who travel states (from Connecticut) to an event of wine excellence, expect WINE EXCELLENCE!!!!!
