This was an incredible experience. It began with the bartender - Brooke. She, literally, could be the next Robin Williams?! She had us crying we were laughing so hard. Clone her STAT! The place itself is basic; you're here to taste wine. It was part of our "Grapevine" crawl and by far our favorite stop. We sampled whites but in the end, fell in love with and purchased the Rose. It was additionally fun having locals and tourists come and go - an enjoyable afternoon! If you have a card on file for the wine club, beware! My wife and I are wine club members and have visited this place numerous times. We have enjoyed the wine and many charcuterie boards and the service has always been good. Most recently, our card on file for the wine club was used but it was not us, we had not been to the winery for several weeks. When my wife called to inform them we were mistakenly charged, a woman named Jillian proceeded to tell my wife that we were there and the charge stays. She asked to speak to the owner and Jillian said she would have the owner call her. That never happened. We are still dealing with the issue but we will be leaving the wine club. We will also be talking to the owner in person as soon as possible. read more

The Grape Vine Springs Winery is a quaint spot on the bustling Main Street of historic Grape Vine. We came in to sample their wines and found we had a few options between bottles and flights. We liked how we could create our own flight of three wines with a good sample in which to select. We went with one red and two white wines. The red was their Tempranillo (named the Thirsty Frog), for the whites we went with the Sauvignon Blanc, and the Green Apple Riesling (named Yellow Rose). Our favorite was the Thirsty Frog as it had great flavor and a smooth finish. We look forward to coming back to Grape Vine and this winery will definitely be on our list. read more

Right off the bat, I knew this place was going to be great. My favorite part was that they offered wine flights, where you can select 4 different wines to taste. You can never have to many wineries, and I love finding a good winery for a tasting, especially those that offer them upon request. I love tasting other people's pride and joy and there were a few here that I found impressive. Although I am not a fan of merlot, I am now a fan of their Merlot. Conveniently located in a cute little shopping area, couldn't help but stop in for a wine tasting. My friend and I ended up getting a flight with three different wines. The Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and a dessert wine that had chocolate and raspberry. Everything was absolutely amazing and delicious. It was hard not to walk away with multiple bottles! I hate writing bad reviews but I haven't had service this terrible in a long time. A fruit flea landed in my friend's drink after we tried several times to swat it away. It was purely an accident and I brought the glass back to the bar. 1. The bartender intentionally helped me last even though I was there well before other parties and it wasn't busy. 2. She was passive aggressive when I told her about the bug and asked if I didn't like the wine, which wasn't even mentioned. 3. She loudly complains to the other party about how she can't control the flies and needed a strong drink to deal with her job. I get it, she can't control the fly but neither can we. I tried to make it go away, there wasn't a napkin to cover our drinks and we were sitting inside so what else could I do too? She was so unprofessional and rude, it ruined the rest of my evening. read more

I think the biggest driver for my review is service. I never got her name as she never introduced herself but it was a white, middle aged woman, probably mid 50s to 60s with short hair styled in a half up-half down, and she was dressed very casually. I walked in with 2 friends on a Saturday afternoon, between 12:45-1pm and it was empty. We didn't get much of a greeting but were quickly told we could sit anywhere so we did. Within a minute or 2 of sitting down the server/only employee gave us rating cards, told us to pick 3 wines and told us how much it would cost. I appreciate directness as much as the next person but the interaction felt cold and distant. She gave each of us our 3 glasses, filled each of our 3 glasses but didn't really acknowledge any of us as she did so. When one of my friends tried to engage with her and ask about the wines she gave very short answers, almost like she wanted to avoid any type of discussion/interaction. When I went to the bathroom, which is a single unisex bathroom by the way, she was already in it. She had beat me to it by a few seconds so I didn't need to knock or anything, I just waited patiently outside for her to be done. When she came out, again, she didn't acknowledge my presence with a smile or a head nod or anything which again felt odd. By the time I had decided to use the restroom, we were done with the wine tasting, had paid our tabs (with 25% tip), and 2 couples had walked in and began their tastings. I noticed her interactions with the other groups were much more positive. She seemed much more willing to answer their questions and help them find what they'd be interested in. My group was 3 25 year olds, and I can guarantee we weren't being loud or obnoxious, we were just trying wines in a winery and minding our own business ... I understand that experience shapes opinion, so maybe when she saw a small group of non-white 20-something year olds she was weary/cautious. I will be honest and say I don't think our ages were her issue. read more

Cute quaint little wine tasting room! Previously D'Vine wine but split from the franchise in February and is now grape vine springs winery. Lots of weekday specials but my friend and I opted for a tasting to try a variety. The power went out unfortunately so they closed for a bit, but wecame back and they got it working again. Nice selections. Personally don't like sweet wines. ..but they've got quote the selection! The almond sparkling wine was really different and delightful. Could really taste and smell the almonds. The chardonnay was delicious, as was the malbec. Was not a fan of the whoops this wine ain't bad -originally intended to be a dessert port wine but never fermented to the desired alcohol content so it's really sweet and has strong cherry notes. Great if you like sweet wines, but I'm not a fan. Definitely going to take some bottles home though. ..just got to decide on which! read more

Had some friends from out of town so we decided to go to Grapevine Springs Winery. We had 1 round of wine and when we asked for another the waitress said NO because we were DRUNKS and ALCOHOLICS I asked what's the problem and she said 2 of us have red faces and that's what she said was a ALCOHOLIC. Now I have Rosacea and I had been doing yard work all day out in the sun and told her so but it didn't matter to her. We were shocked and embarrassed because she was speaking loud enough that other tables were looking at us. I called the next day to speak to the owner who was not there supposedly and left a message to call me BUT I have heard from no one. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE THEY DO NOT DESERVE anyone's business. read more

I came in on a Saturday for a tasting and was overall pleased. The pours were generous and the cheese plate/souvenir glass tasting option is a good deal. Thinking back, the Yellow Rose is the one wine that sticks out. It's a bit on the sweet side, but was nice and refreshing on a warm day. Tables were appropriately spaced and the room is rather large, allowing me to tuck into a table in the back away from others. Service was okay - there was only one person working FOH at the time and while she was getting everything accomplished, it seemed to be a lot for just one person. The wines I was tasting had a recommended order, which I appreciate. If I hadn't done numerous wine tastings in the past, I think I would have been a little bit lost, but I could tell that the person at FOH was sincerely doing their best. Definitely will pick up a bottle of the Yellow Rose for gifts. I plan on stopping in again to sample their sparkling/rose wines. read more

What a fantastic surprise walking into Grape Vine Springs Winery today! The large bar area was welcoming with several stools and clear signage for promos and menus. Our party of 5 found a large table and Maria quickly welcomed us. She not only attended to us with kind friendly service but also provided great information as we contemplated our selections. We enjoyed 2 large charcuterie trays, spinach dip and delicious wine from their happy hour menu. The Mediterranean tray included a delicious assortment of olives and almonds, cheeses, salami and dried fruits. Our second tray was a "build your own" with several selections for cheese and meats to choose from. The brie with balsamic glaze was spectacular and the boards were just enough for sharing as we enjoyed our wine. Maria was attentive but also gave us space to relax and enjoy our experience. She made sure we had everything we needed included water to stay hydrated. We purchased bottles to take with us but definitely plan to return for a cooking class or karaoke night that Maria told us about. She was so informative in such a friendly way and promoted the winery with class! Grape Vine Springs has a charming interior and plenty of seating space. Staff was attentive&very welcoming. For $10, you can customize your own tasting for 4 kinds of wine. White, red, semi-sweet, sweet, dessert, sparkling- whatever your liking, there's plenty to choose from on the tasting list! My flight consisted of: Wonderland White (Chardonnay/Viognier blend), Merlot, Chairman's Reserve (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec blend), and Rodeo Red (sweet red). Unfortunately, I only liked 1 out of 4. Chariman's Reserve was bold yet smooth, and definitely worth getting. However, the other 3 didn't "wow" me. Wonderland White and Merlot were average, which is rare because I am always a fan of Viognier blends and Merlot. As for Rodeo Red, I advise you not get...unless you love cherry. It was overly sweet with an overwhelming amount of cherry, making it taste like cough medicine. It was the first time I did not finish a tasting. read more
