Others flavors on my favorite list include the carrot cake, oatmeal raisin cookie, butter pecan, and mud pie. My husband always goes for almond joy, dulce de leche, and apple pie. Staff are always friendly and you can always find seating out front. I love the whimsical, fun decor. 50/50 experience. I've had great time the prior few times and today unfortunately I had an awful experience. The girls for the most part are sweet and patient, take the time for new customers to see the menu and check all the flavors, try a sample before ordering. There was only one boy who is extremely rude. Either unaware on how to service customers, put on a smile or even consider the fact customers are in the middle of ordering an option. It's understandable how busy it gets, and unknowingly not aware who's being taken care of and who's not. However it all could have been avoided with a kind gesture or asking a question. Being nasty because you can't handle a busy night, means you should probably find another job. You don't have to work with people, or families with kids or someone's night out, you could work from home or behind a desk, options are out there. For the most part, if you come and see a guy here, good luck. All the others I've interacted with, your in great hands. If it's your first time I wish you luck, the ice creams are good, service was typically really well and they have plenty of options for the kids, toys, candy and all. If you're looking for a more plant-based option, they have vegan ice cream and a vegan milkshake. You can try samples before purchasing. The items are pricey, so I settled on a kiddie-size snickers ice cream, then sat at an available table outside. The ice cream tasted like a snickers bar - creamy and sweet with chocolate pieces, peanuts, and caramel swirls. It was the perfect amount to enjoy as a sweet treat. This is such a vibrant and colorful ice cream shop. From the moment you walk in, a whole new world opens up that is full of toys, stuffed animals and candy. It is a great spot for children and adults that are children at heart! The soft serve ice cream was served in a sprinkle filled cone and was soft, creamy, and delicious! The chocolate chip cookie was huge and super decadent. (The cookie was larger than my hand!) Totally recommend this ice cream spot if you love ice cream. There are TONS of flavors and toppings available for your choosing. I brought my mom here for her birthday over 1 year ago and got her Tracy's Kitchen Sink, it's $99 for a gigantic sink delivered to your table with Saran Wrap. Ive been to the Sloan's ice cream parlor in Mizner Park but it was small. This store was huge with an enticing front patio and colorful signage with a relaxing outside patio area. Upon entering I immediately smelled the fresh fudge and I tasted the Rocky Road which was amazing. We ordered the Butter Pecan ice cream and a Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream - both in cups. Immediately, joy was put into my mouth. Very rich tasting goodness. Each cup was about $5.00 and well worth it. They also sell cotton candy and massive cookies, in addition to an array of stuffed animals and toys. Just a very happy place with comfort desserts. read more

Sloan's opened their first location in West Palm Beach in 1999. They now have other locations including City Place, Mizner Park, Doral, Lauderdale by the Sea, Delray, and Clematis Street. This Sloan's is located in the Uptown Shopping Plaza on Glades Road in west Boca Raton. My girlfriend and I stopped by for dessert after lunch in the plaza. I love Sloan's pink décor, with candy colored chandeliers, and whimsical murals. The store is eye candy but you can also indulge in inventive ice cream flavors, fudge, and other candy concoctions. They also have dog treats, candy in bulk, novelties, and the classics, toys, stuffed animals, games, and key chains. Sloan's has some cinteresting ice cream flavors including carrot cake, Athena & Cayden's Magical Rainbow Looptopia, Cookie Monster, and Circus. They also have a wide assortment of toppings and chocolate dipped cones to enjoy your frosty treat in. On this outing I chose a scoop of Richard's Riot, a coffee ice cream with toasted almonds, chocolate chunks, and coffee and a scoop of Snicker's. Unfortunately it started melting before I could even take a picture of it. While delicious it was a gloopy mess in a matter of minutes. I just wish they had a few seats inside the air conditioning instead of just out front. read more

After finishing up dinner and walking around, we needed to end the night on something sweet! With the choice between Sloan's and Carmelas, we went with the ice cream shop! Going in, the atmosphere made you feel like you were playing candy land and had all sorts of sugary treats aside from just ice cream. After sampling over 5 flavors, I just decided to share some of my Pops order, which was half chocolate chocolate chunk and cookie dough cookie. Moving on with my review, the ice cream was very good! The chocolate ice cream had that dutch chocolate mouth feel, and I really enjoyed that the cookie dough was made in house, which made this all the better! Personally, just my opinion, this wasn't the best ice cream I had, and it was a tad pricey as it was $8 for a small cup. But despite my criticism, I'd probably come here again if with some friends, of course. Final verdict 4/5. read more

There are several locations for Sloan's -Mizner Park (Boca), The Square (West Palm Beach), Delray Beach (Atlantic Ave.), Lauerdale by the Sea, Clematis Street and Doral. Sloan's started in 1999 which was in West Palm Beach. You can get a taste of whatever ice cream you want - I tried peanut butter vegan ice cream (made with almond milk) and it was delicious. The ice cream is expensive so once in a while it's ok to have. They also have stuffed animals, games, doggie treats and more. Check it out as the ice cream has fun names as well. I stopped by Just Salad in the same plaza and saw a colorful set up with lots of balloons and people nearby. My sister and I stopped by to check it out and it was their grand opening! You may have to take out a daily mortgage for daily ice cream at Sloan's, but it's well worth it for the smiles on their faces. Between the colorful atmosphere, games outside (giant connect 4) and ice cream flavors galore Sloan's will appeal to any kid. My kids are all about the Cookie Monster flavor topped with gummies....hello sugar rush! I was trying to be good and stay away from the ice cream during my last visit, but if I were to indulge the coffee bean was calling my name. I love anything coffee flavored...especially ice cream! My husband me and 13 month old went into Sloan's tonight and wanted to give my son a taste of ice cream, so I asked for a sample of the blue ice cream with gummy bears. He put a small spoonful into a "puppy cone". I asked if this was going to cost and he whispered to his manager who then told him to charge me for a REGULAR size cone... about $7. I told him I didn't get a regular though just a small spoonful and he said doesn't matter. Then I said ok then no thank you and he took the ice cream and threw it in the trash behind him. BTW... we've gone to this location before and received the "puppy cone" at no charge!!! All of that to be thrown away anyways... disgusting customer service don't go to this one.
