    Orange olive oil cake
    Anton P.

Fine dining in the Vail village. First of all the interior is pretty nice but it depends if you get a booth or a table, some booths are located in front of the fire place and some are just facing windows with the view of the parking garage, so very different experience. We got the parking lot view lol The dinning experience itself was very nice, but I think their tartare could probably be less creative, like if it was just regular tartare on a plate with some bread that would be better. We decided to get a couple apps and split one entree, and they brought the ragu already split into two portions which was really nice. For desert they had a olive oil cake which I had to try, and I gotta say, it's an acquired taste but nothing like any desert I had before.

The drinks and food were incredible. We started with the cornbread for the table and then each ordered our own entrees. I ordered the short rib and it was delish! Ambiance of the restaurant was laid back and lowkey but also felt elevated and elegant. My friend who we came with was wearing her bride to be stuff and so I was potentially expecting a drink or dessert on the house for her but that did not occur even though the table next to us got one? Could have potentially had to do with who we had serving us

10/10 experience! food was excellent and such complex flavors. Our waitress was awesome we will certainly be back for more of that truffle mac & cheese:)

The vibes were we were sat by the fireplace and it was so so pretty, loved how quiet and classy it was The service was phenomenal, my water didn't get below 3/4 full at any point All the food was delicious but my favorite was the hamachi appetizer Didn't take photos of the dessert but the butterscotch ice cream was amazing, vanilla was okay (nothing special) My only critique is that our cappuccinos tastes sour which really threw me off.

Really nice, upscale establishment with food that matches the ambiance! I really liked this spot. My partner enjoyed his steak as well. Parking is nearby but it's a nice walk outdoors. Service here was excellent too, I wish I remembered our server's name (sexy lumberjack vibe). I would definitely come back here for a nice dinner in Vail!

Our family has eaten at some of the nicest restaurants in the world. We have tried every highest-end spot in Vail and Slope Room left us absolutely blown away. It was the highlight of our trip. The food was spectacular to say the least. We started with the duck appetizer and all agreed it was the greatest duck dish we've tried in 30 years of traveling the world. We then had the 20oz Bison Ribeye, the chicken dish and the pasta dish and we couldn't stop raving about how perfect they were. The chicken dish was easily the best I've ever had. I usually find chicken dishes horribly boring. This was ridiculously flavorful and so delicious. And we crushed the ribeye as a family. The Baked Alaskan we had for dessert too was perfectly built. The ambiance was lovely, sitting by a window and enjoying a gorgeous night. We are dreaming of coming back again as soon as possible!

The service is friendly and was attentive initially but slowed when it came time to box up leftovers and leave, we waited a while for the check. The food we had was solid and satisfying. We were craving soup and the French Onion Soup hit the spot! It was so much more flavorful than the Slow Cooked Pork Shank, which was good, just bland for my taste and I typically think a lot of food we eat is over-seasoned. The manhattan cocktail was well made, especially if you enjoy something strong and straightforward. Portions are on the larger side, which was good since it is on the pricier end as expected for the location and the resort atmosphere.

I started with a small crock of French onion soup which was very flavorful and refreshingly light on the salt. The entrees came out in perfect time and temperature. We both had the filets cooked medium rare with mine served Oscar. Each steak was cooked as ordered and tasted exactly as we had hoped...delicious!... and the amount of crab meat on my steak was heaping to say the least. The side of brussel sprouts was very good as well. Overall, though I agree this isn't necessarily "fine dining", the service and the food was excellent. We would definitely eat here again.

My girlfriend declared the salmon the best she has ever eaten. I chose the schnitzel, one of the chef's favorites, served with new potatoes and green beans. It was fantastic, and the portion was so generous that I took home enough for a second meal. The espresso martinis were outstanding as well. Be sure to save room for dessert. Everything is freshly made, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. To top it all off, the owner came out to greet us personally. He was the perfect host and an exceptional chef. All of the dishes were decent, but the prime rib--which I expected to be the highlight of the meal--turned out to be EXTREMELY tough. I struggled to slice it even with a steak knife, and it was also quite flavorless. I ended up leaving most of it unfinished, as shown in the photo. I had hoped the server would ask if anything was wrong with the dish after seeing so much of it left on the plate, but he didn't. Considering the quality, the prices were on the higher end. I'd recommend going somewhere else if you don't want to experience the worst prime rib dinner.

As anticipated, the place was gorgeous...with a slightly formal air. Given that it was in the Vail Village (near the ski slope), my husband was able to enter the place in his rugged ski suit. Despite the ambiance, it was a bit dead. I was disappointed with the lack of French music overhead...though maybe it was on so low, I didn't hear it? There were plenty of breakfast-brunch options, but on the menu, some items were noted as taking 20 minutes (which we didn't have time for!), so I was a tad bummed about that. In any case, my husband chose this Huckleberry Bacon French Toast, and I ordered the Maryland Crab Benedict. For drinks, we both just ordered plain coffee. As expected, the foods were good. I was more impressed with my husband's choice, this super-fancy french toast. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted spectacular! Mine was good, but disappointing at the same time. I really liked the Crab Benedict, but I only half-liked the side salad (basically just Arugula with a few Walnuts and Figs). The total bill for these items ran over 100 bucks... which, was to be expected in Vail. However, for such a pricey breakfast, I felt that I should have absolutely loved it...but it felt short of that. Overall, I just expected a bit more from this breakfast experience. Again, the decor was gorgeous, but the ambiance wasn't fully there (because of the lack of music?). Service felt a bit short-skimpy as well. Foods were good, but mine especially (Crab Benedict) felt a bit lacking. Let's just say that I've had Crab Benedicts as just as good for half the price...and with better sides. Maybe lunch or dinner experience is better here? In any case, am glad we checked out the place...but I doubt I'll choose it for breakfast again.

Such a relaxing but chic spot to enjoy a meal after being out in the mountains. Our waitress was not overbearing and gave us enough time between bites to take it all in. She also made sure we got the full experience with the hot chocolate to marvel at its glory! The food was excellent, but the butternut squash soup was truly outstanding. It had a beautiful natural sweetness with a subtle hint of apple that made the flavor feel layered and comforting, and the pepitas added the perfect little crunch. It was one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. We also ordered the hummus, which tasted incredibly fresh and crisp, light, bright, and perfectly refreshing alongside the richer dishes. But the real star of the experience was the hot chocolate. It was absolutely decadent and comforting, easily one of the best cups of hot chocolate I've ever had. Rich, smooth, and the perfect treat in a snowy Vail setting. One of our friends walked through the bar and noticed the fire pit seating areas were available and asked a server if we could sit there instead. She looked at us and said she would have to ask the hostess if any were available. Clearly they were and they didn't want our group sitting there for some reason. The bar was practically empty so not sure what the issue would be, perhaps it was because we were not hotel guests. After not getting back to us we just sat ourselves outside. Our server was Nivas. Nivas was not overly friendly but she was attentive. We ordered a couple rounds of cocktails. They were pricy but good. The fire pit tables are very nice. If you can sit outside at a fire pit I would recommend doing so.
