    Overcooked egg

You have one job for eggs Benedict. And it's to not overcook the egg. Avoid. Yelp says I need 85 characters to post a review so let me reiterate that this place manages to F up eggs Benedict

Caesar Salad topped with the 7oz filet. Great meal.

Had been for breakfast before but not dinner and it was great. We started with the burrata and soup of the day. Had Caesar salad with the filet, black cod special and the tuna tartar. Great service. Outstanding quality.

    Burger and fries.

Ordered the burger server was pleasant. Food was cooked to order. Kleen spot. Fast service

Came here to grab some breakfast before heading back to Denver after a long ski trip and holy moly! The portions here are huge!!! I had the basic breakfast plate and it was delicious. The service was pretty quick and there was plenty of parking. However the stand out for this place was the pastries. I was super excited to try to cronuts here and it was absolutely amazing!!! I highly recommend checking this place out if you're ever in Avon.

Jim is incredible!! The food is delicious. Everyone needs to stop here. Lots of good priced wine.

We spent the weekend in Avon before I started a new job. Before we headed home on our last day, we stopped for a hearty breakfast. And boy was it hearty! My partner and I both ordered the smothered burrito, because that's a go-to for us to compare to other restaurants. This ranks up there. The portion was very generous. So much so, even I took home the leftovers for a second meal. That rarely happens with me! The green chili was the topping which sealed the deal for me. The flavor profile was strong, but not overpowering. It really complimented the burrito. And don't get me started on the pastries they have at the counter!

We went here the day after Christmas 2024. I think it has either gone downhill or it was an off day. Apparently Northside Kitchen is rebranding to Northside Prime. The interior has been updated and now has dark wood slats and a lot of wine for sale. Our service was good. All of our food came out together (party of 8) and we had water and drinks. The food is where I feel they missed the mark. I ordered the lamb chops and they were probably the worst I've had to the highest price I've paid. They were not even close to warm, and the farro or whatever grain they were on was much warmer. They were cooked right, but seem to have cooled down to room temperature. Nother person in our party mentioned pretty much the same. At $67 per plate for lamb chops, I think that's unacceptable. I also tried the trout and it tasted farmed, which it might be. The salmon was good and it sounds like the halibut special was the winner. The deviled eggs md French onion soup were good too. I'll still come back here as the food in the past has been great. It was jammed the other day, so maybe they need to just get their feet under themselves again.

Excellent prime rib at a reasonable price. Great selection of wines as well. An ideal spot to grab a meal after a day of skiing.

Both were fresh and a perfect way to begin the meal. For my entrée I had the salmon nigiri, scallop nigiri, a California roll, and bluefin nigiri, and each piece was outstanding. The fish was incredibly fresh, buttery, and clean-tasting with none of that overly "fishy" flavor you sometimes get- just pure, high-quality seafood that melts in your mouth. I also ordered a mocktail that was refreshing and well balanced, which was a nice touch. The waitress was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Even though the restaurant is on the smaller side, the quality of the food and the warm service make it a place I would absolutely recommend. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in beaver creek!

I have eaten at every restaurant on the square except there. We arrive at 2:37pm and the host told he could not seat us because the close at 3pm a reopen at 4:30pm and they take their last seating at 2pm for lunch! We graciously left and said we were sorry. I go back there today by myself at 2pm and was seated at the bar by the same host. Sat down at the bar the server was Kurt and pushing, which I am use to up here, did not even excuse herself or tell she was leaving. Kind of rude as a server. As I was finishing up I notice people coming 2:37pm, 2:45pm and 2:50pm and the same host that refused to serve us sat every one of them at a table. This was my first time eating this restaurant and after our experience the day before. It is not a good look. I do not think will eat there again. Derrick Poe

I love the rustic cabin decor in the dinning room, very warm and cozy vibe. Our server Brett is great, informative and very patience with us. Not necessarily the most high in food nor is it expected. Which is ok. It Has a cool old school bar steakhouse feel to it. The last 25 years that I have been eating there it definitely has dwindled considerably over the years, but tonight was by far the worst and completely unacceptable. I took my dad out for his 76th birthday and was embarrassed by the lack of quality the food had, when it was brought to their attention they gave pretty much 2 shits. My fathers Grilled chicken was a 6 oz chicken breast cut in half to be paper thin and then grilled, why who knows, I am gonna assume they lost the ticket for a hot minute, he could barely cut the chicken when it did finally cut it legitimately crumbled and had zero seasoning I mean Zero. The burger was again seasoned with incompetence, the fries were or had been re dropped in the fryer at least 3-4 times completely saturated nothing but oil pockets... my wife got the steak bites and you couldn't even chew through it. A 5 year old has more talent cooking than what is being produced out of that place. It was legitimately insulting being fed food of that quality and believing it was acceptable. When it was brought up to them that is it was unacceptable the manager who has been there since the dawn of time "obviously burt out"...Clearly he dose not care what is produced out of there. Started telling me this is how they do it and that buffalo is a lean bland meat bla bla bla, sorry sir but I am not gonna tell you that I know food inside and out. It's what I do... so while you're feel good and confident about blowing smoke up peoples asses about your so called food knowledge and looking like a completely uneducated liar. Maybe just maybe listen to your customers and comp them when a comp is due. Because you and I both know it was trash. I would have rather taken $200 and flushed it down the toilet.......

My buddies had beers and I had the winter mule, which was a raspberry/blueberry mule - it was really good. My dining mates shared a bottle of wine at dinner. Our server Petra was very good - attentive, efficient, friendly, and overly and unnecessarily apologetic for something totally immaterial! I went to the hostess to ask for a fork between appetizers and my main. In fact she immediately brought me a complimentary cocktail as a gesture. Our appetizers of lamb meatballs and pickled deviled eggs were outstanding. The meatballs had a Mediterranean flair with some tzatziki sauce, picked and pita bread. The deviled eggs were perfectly creamy and savory - but I can't say I have ever had a bad deviled egg! For mains, two of us had the wagyu tenderloin. Our other dish was the thick cut lamb loin chops. (I forgot to take a pic of my main!) We all opted for the sides of a twice baked potato and broccolini - which were included with our dish. However you could choose a set of sides from any main dish. My steak was a perfect rare and super tender. The potato was a little disappointing - I had expectations of a big fluffy twice baked... it was smallish and maybe a bit stale - I think I got a few bites out of it. Desserts were the toffee cake and crème brûlée. I tried the crème brûlée, which was lit at the table - a nice, but unnecessary touch. I believe it was Bacardi 151, haha. Overall, it was a nice dinner - service was very good, and most of the food was spot on.
