This place is great, but the star of the show is the tuner Brian. He's so fun to be around, is extremely knowledgeable, and just as excited as I was to get my car up to performance. He fixed some problems the old tune had and gave me way more power than I expected. I drove two hours of mixed usage with zero feedback knock and even zero knock sum. A shop that actually knows their stuff. Not pushy unlike other shops that just want to make a sale. Their shop car (an evo) is one of the fastest in the world - that should tell you a lot. Got work done on my evo x here and now that shit pulls harder than a muhfucka. Special shoutout to their Mitsubishi specialist, Brad - probably the most knowledgeable person I've ever met when it comes to Evos. Genuine and trustworthy people, super super clean work. I wish I could give 10 stars but 5 is the max. I had been having problems with my tune on my Lancer Evolution, after visiting 3 different tuners I was about to give up. I ran into Mandi from Slowmotion Motorsports at a race I was attending and she convinced me that Corey (their tuner) could have it running great in no time. I have to admit that I had my doubts but in 30 minutes Corey had the car starting better, the AFR's dialed in, and the drivability was like stock. After the tune was done I have still been in contact with Mandi for parts, oil, and other things. They customer service has been great and they have earned my business for life! read more

After having my evo x back since last Friday been putting my break in miles on it Slowmotion installed Cobb v3 access port got the motor sleeved and bottom end rebuild and then a tune. I've been enjoying my car so much it really came to life after Slowmotion got a hold of it they where very helpful on where to go next with the evo and they gave suggestions but weren't to pushy with what to do. Shady! Had a full motor build done on my B18 on the quest for more power. The status of the build was "waiting on the machine shop" for months. When it was finally time for pickup there were multiple discrepancies compared to my estimate: things that weren't done and/or things that were specifically articulated to be at "no extra cost." It came to a total nearly $1k over. Fortunately I came prepared with my quote that I had studied and was able to work the price more my direction. As for the build, the tune was spotty, however excusable for a base and brand new baby engine. However, I am uncertain how it was set into the 12.8:1 at speeds over ~68mph. The headgasket went at about 15k miles....that was fun. They said they would dyno my stock motor before teardown and send me a graph, but that never managed to surface after inquiring several times. And the last straw....I requested my factory parts back after the build as b18c5 parts are of some value. They gave me a junk crank they had. My car purred like a kitten, but the crank i received back was turned on one of the rod journals and had a spun bearing from hell....this was not my crank! Now my rings are going at ~30k, and I do not, by any means, abuse this car. So....anyone with a more complex build, I urge you to look elsewhere. Dont make the same mistake I did. It is worth the drive for quality work. read more

I was very satisfied with my entire experience at Slowmotion Motorsports! They came highly recommended, and the work provided for me was of the best quality! I was treated much more than just a customer as well, and felt like a member of the team and would trust no one else but them to help me in the future! From the start of my planning the team was there to recommend varioius performance parts and explained why they were used and gave advice with the work I had completed before handing the rest to them. From there I was given updates consistently and the work was done right as expected and spot on the budget! Unprofessional. Bunch of dudes running around cursing at each other. Hard to tell who is even in charge. Cocky. EXPENSIVE. You would think that the more you pay, the better service you get. That is NOT the case. I paid $150 dollars for a compression test and they misdiagnosed it. I wanted to have it done right so I took it to a place that knew cars. I had a nice car and wasted a lot of money because of them. Please do not give these fools any more of your money unless you ARE one of those fools and I know there are plenty of you out there. This is the dirty unprofessional unorganized place where you can give these fools all of your money. This happened months ago and I am still upset about it. STAY AWAY. Terrible shop. A bunch of back yard mechanics. Took my car there for some engine work and a few month later all i have is a blown engine and them not doing anything about the bad work done to it with the misleading information I got of what what being done. I didn't drive it hard especially not without breaking it in first. Slow Motion is right because if your lucky enough to have a car that moves after leaving this shop that's about the speed you'll be going. read more
