The laser treatment was completely ineffective, and the subsequent Enlighten Depigmentation System triggered a severe full-body rash approximately 2.5 years ago. The rash was so intense that it required rocky and enormous medical helps to calm it down. After that difficult period, I managed my skin issue on my own. Through more than 2.5 years of focused self home care, I successfully cleared approximately 99% of my melasma using a simple daily regimen centered on Vanicream products. The results came entirely from my self home treatment -- NOT from this facility. A. For Professionals: If a client discloses that they have sensitive skin, I strongly recommend implementing a 72-hour patch test followed by a 5-day monitoring period as a standard precautionary step. This is far more effective than relying solely on a liability waiver. B. There was bloody tissue, dirty masks, a cigarette butt and food crumbs on the floor and a chocolate milk spill that had dried up on the table. I waited 3 hours and never saw anybody from house keeping clean up or wipe any thing or the seating areas down. But know that Covid is still going around and whatever else. Many children were playing on the fish tank and in the play are but I never saw anybody wipe the areas down. That's ridiculous because the staff walked past and ignored it too.

Unfortunate because I don't ever want her to be sick or in pain. But if she had to be in a hospital, I'm so happy it was Children's Hospital. There is a parking garage attached to the hospital with PLENTY of parking. They waive the parking fees for parents and grandparents. When arriving for the first visit, I was issued a badge on a lanyard. This badge had my picture on it as well as my granddaughter's room number. The badge doubled as a pass to get in and out of the parking garage. It was also used to get past doors on the patient floor. After every discharge, I returned the badge or, in cases when I was not present when my granddaughter was discharged, my badge was deactivated. Meaning it would no longer work as a parking pass or to open doors inside the hospital. I LOVE the security!! The people working the desk and issuing these badges were all so very friendly and helpful. There were times when I'm sure I was not as friendly as I should have been because I was so stressed, but they were always friendly and helpful. THANK YOU!!!!! The doctors, nurses, and sitters were all AMAZING! My granddaughter is less than a year old, yet they were able to keep her as comfortable as possible at all times. And the last time she was in, what they were able to accomplish in less than a week is nothing short of a MIRACLE.

I find these people lazy and hard to deal with. I was trying to have a bill sent to my secondary…read moreinsurance after the primary was billed. One of the workers stated it was submitted and was rejected, so I call the insurance company, and they said they never received it. Then I called BJC back and they were like oh well heres a receipt because i went a head and paid for it. Then the secondary insurance said they needed an itemized receipt. I contacted BJC and told them and it's been three days and still waiting. 500 dollars to them may not be much, but to me it's a lot. I personally felt they were just lazy, lied about it, and didn't want to mess with a secondary insurance. I hope I never have to use them again. I can tell I'm never going to see that money again even though I'm cover with 2 insurances.
