It was a Friday evening and we attempted to go to the restaurant next door but they were closed . We stumbled upon slyce and really enjoyed our time . They had live music , we sat at the bar . The service was great, it wasn't over crowded but busy enough to know they were serving fresh food. We ordered pizza , salad and some wine from the draft. We opted for the wine as their beer draft system did seem a little off, not sure if the beer company had cleaned it in some time but it was abnormally warm and less carbonated than it should be , mostly flat . I am so disappointed in the service we just experienced. After a long day at the beach, we called in an order and asked to sit when we arrived. The host was friendly and sat us promptly. We planned to order drinks and appetizers. The first woman, older with curly hair, that approached our table was extremely rude when we told her that we placed a to-go order. After a few minutes of waiting, we asked for menus and to place a drink order. A younger woman came to our table to take our order. My receipt says it was Lucy. Initially, I thought she was friendly, but when it came time to pay, she was verbally aggressive and rude. I'm not sure what the deal is with the employees, but it's not acceptable behavior. I would've given a 1 star review, but the pizza was really good. I would not recommend this place to anyone or return. read more

I'm not sure if you were on an XM/corporate channel or what but whoever had the music on when we were in there a few weeks ago is my favorite person. I was transported back to tumblr 2014. Started with garlic knots and wow. 10/10. Did a few beers and they came quick and cold. Hubby and I weren't too hungry so we decided to just get one Individual pizza and I got a small side salad. It was named a house salad but it was not the usual boring iceberg with tomatoes and cucumbers. Salad had matchstick sliced apples and pears, craisins, cherry tomatoes, Gorgonzola and candied walnuts. The best part was their house vinaigrette dressing! Delicious!! For the pizza, we opted for half Greek and half Pear a dice. The Greek had ground sausage, feta, spinach, tomatoes, Kalamata olives, mozzarella & fresh oregano. The pear had fresh pear slices, Gorgonzola and prosciutto. Both were soo good!! Since I had the salad, I had a small slice of each. Hubby had the rest and it was filling enough for him. Pizza was thin crust - cooked perfectly! Definitely recommend this place. There was live music, a great vibe, great service and very good food. We all ate quietly because we were enjoying it. crust was thin enough, but had a little bit of flop to it. Next time I'll order it well done. sauce was flavorful and slightly sweet, not bitter. provolone was properly dispersed over the pie and not simply blobbed in one or two spots. Today they helped us out and provided all the food for our Veterans Day celebration where we honored many St. petersburg vets. Their complete lunch donation was greatly appreciated. Jordan was our server this evening. He was very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our garlic knots, beers, and 3 individual pizzas. Pizzas were The meat, A plain cheese, and a bbq chicken. Ranch was homemade, the knots had a nice chew with lots of buttery garlic. Our pizzas tasted fantastic! Generous amount of toppings, flavorful sauce, and perfect crust. We even spoke with the manager to convey our appreciation for our server and the food, and he took his time with us to talk about the area and get to know us a bit.
