My two cats have seen her multiple times each until we finally asked them to put a note in our chart that we wanted anyone but her. When we asked questions about one of our cats eyes, she simply could not give us an answer and instead tried to refer us to a cat eye doctor. Note that he simply has a bit of a watery eye and another vet in the practice was able to answer all of our questions. Dr. Gallagher was rude and dismissive on multiple occasions. I've had three dogs in my lifetime all of which have been a true privilege for me. What I appreciate most about Dr. Groper is his straightforward approach to most everything. He doesn't overcomplicate appointments, fill them with unnecessary information, try to sell you things you don't need or anything even close to that. He listens, explains what matters, gets to the point and solves the issue. It's that simple. I have a French bulldog, so trust me it's not that easy at times, but he makes it seem so easy and my pup is as healthy as he can be. It is truly astounding. However...Just as important, he genuinely cares about the pet patients he treats AND their families. He personally follows up to see how they're doing, which says so much about the kind of veterinarian and person he is. All I can say is that he cares truly cares and that's all that matters. It's rare to find someone who combines this level of knowledge, common sense, efficiency, and genuine compassion. I trust his judgment completely and feel incredibly fortunate to have him caring for my pup. I truly could not recommend him more highly. He's the man!!! He's our veterinarian... and we're so lucky. What kind of vet are you? Not knowing this i brought my dog home within two days my dog had nearly stopped peering, she was leaking bowel excretions and started bleeding. I rushed her to the wonderful vets in worcester who sad my dog was critically ill and they got her cleaned out. She had 10 days of antibiotics with pain meds. NEVER GO HERE THEY WILL KILL YOUR PET!!

Current vet can't do Sialadenectomy surgery because to close to juggler and judging by his shaking I think he has Parkinsons. Other vet wants deposit of over $7300 just to schedule Sialadenectomy and price to increase during surgery. Called MSPC Angell in JP to ask if they could help and do Sialadenectomy for less since their doctor at Nevins Farm caused the issue pulling teeth before her adoption. (Problem is not on her intake form but is on adoption forms so injury happened w them.) I was told no. They need to $265 for evaluate to see if she needs Sialadenectomy even though 2 other vets said she does. Surgery will be well over $6500. Told me I am to pay full price but they accept financing or I can put it on a card because its so expensive. The woman literally laughed at me. Audibly laughed at me. This poor dog will probably be put down because pet insurance wont cover it. (pre- existing condition). Her current vet can't do it. Can't find a vet who actually cares. MSPCA won't help even though they caused it. And I dont have thousands to pay for what she needs. Heartbroken. My poor girl.

I was referred to this vet by a friend and I've had an incredibly positive experience overall. Everyone knows my pup -- from the front receptionists to the vet techs to the vets themselves. Everyone is incredibly sweet and I could tell they actually cared about my dog. Most recently my dog came in for an ear infection. They were incredibly patient and careful with him as they swabbed his ears and eventually got him set straight. He is food motivated and they had peanut butter and treats ready to distract him! My only critique is that it costs $100+ just to get in the door. A checkup, without taking into account any treatment, is $98. I usually walk out $200+ in the hole for routine visits. I would highly recommend these guys to any pet owners in JP!

There's seems to be a huge effort in working with me and my pup. I would like to give them another chance. In addition I would like to shout out Vet tech David Rivera. He was one of the first techs to see Lancelot and I have seen him at many clinics. One time I was sent out to Acton to get a root canal done on my cat. When I got there, the dentist there said it couldn't be done and she just extracted the tooth. For $1,000. I got referred to another place in Chatlestown for something else, because their relationship with the people who had been doing onsite had fallen apart. That one cost me over $1000 too,for something I was told would cost around $250. When I came in for the last few visits, nobody ever seemed to know why I was there. There seemed not to be communication or professionalism. Their prices were exorbitant, too! I really regret not having switched to my current vet sooner.
