I would give this clinic zero stars if it was possible. To…read morebegin with, I inherited a family of small mammals (8) that were going to be set loose to fend for themselves. These sweet animals are only treated by vets who treat "exotic animals," (i.e., not a cat or dog) and there aren't many of these vets. I needed to make an appointment for one of them to be seen. The immediate situation was not considered an emergency, but could turn fatal. Making an appointment for my pet was not an easy task. I was finally able to get an appointment yesterday, for today (approx 24 hours ago). As life goes, life happened. I was not going to be able to make the scheduled appointment, I found out 1.5 hrs before. I called to apologize and wanted to reschedule, my pet still REQUIRED care. I was informed that because I am a new client and need to "cancel" my appointment (I asked immediately to reschedule), that Dr. Binder has recently stopped allowing this. There is the 24 hour cancellation policy(yesterday, when they called me to make the appointment), also my appointment slot could not be "filled in time". Time for what? To recoup that lost 'new patient' fee? I asked if they would please double check with the doctor. I called back (1 hr later) to find out the answer. As the receptionist had explained earlier, the doctor said "no." I stated "this is important." The response given was "THERE ARE OTHER DOCTORS!" (rudely) It was difficult enough trying to find a vet that could treat exotic animals, let alone trying to schedule an appointment! It is obvious that they are NOT concerned with the welfare of every pet. "Compassionate care for your fur family" Straight from their webpage OBVIOUSLY that quote is questionable, if not just FALSE. Do not depend on them to do the right thing for your pet!

Sadly, we recently suffered a death in our family and inherited two cats--Rocky, who is 10, and Wall-E, who is 8 months old. Since Wall-E needed to be neutered, a dear friend recommended Kindness Animal Hospital, and we are so thankful they did. From the very first phone call, when we spoke with Brenda and explained our story, we were met with nothing but kindness, compassion, and understanding. It meant more to us than she probably realizes. Dr. Rosenblatt examined both of our newly adopted fur babies and helped us get Wall-E scheduled for his neutering at just the right time. Sam and everyone else on the staff made us feel so welcome. You can tell they genuinely love animals, and that love carries over to the people who walk through their doors, too. The care our boys received was exceptional, and we were also so appreciative that it was affordable. During a difficult time for our family, everyone at Kindness made something that could have been stressful feel easy. We can't recommend Kindness Animal Hospital enough. They truly live up to their name. When you walk through their doors, you're treated with kindness, compassion, and respect, and your pets are treated like family. Thank you, Dr. Rosenblatt, Brenda, Sam, and the entire Kindness family for taking such wonderful care of Rocky, Wall-E, and us. We are so grateful. With love, Rudy, Eva, Rocky & Wall-E

They provide a free brief exam and medical advice. No emergency care is provided. If you have been seen there before for vaccinations, keep the documents they give you. There is a limit of twenty-five pets seen per day. If you get there after 8:00 AM, there are already twenty-five people there, and you will not be seen. From the moment we called ahead to say we were on our way, the staff were incredibly responsive and ready for us when we arrived. They quickly assessed the situation, diagnosed the issue, and carried out the necessary procedures. The clinic itself was very clean, welcoming, and well equipped. Dr. Estes explained everything clearly--what was happening, the prognosis, and what we should do next. The techs / nurses--Kim Nguyen, Kendra Baker, and Jennifer Ducharme--were also wonderful: professional, patient, and very caring. They were attentive throughout the entire process while our Pomeranian was undergoing sedation, and you could tell they genuinely cared. I'm sure they see situations like this every day, but they still treated our dog with the attention and care he needed. Small things like that matter. Spent over $1,300 for a consult and spay just for them to be closed for 2 days in a row with less than a 24 hour notice. Waited over 30 minutes at the initial consult appointment. Day of the spay appointment, I drop my cat off at 8:00 AM and was not even given a phone call with an update. Tried to call them for an update at 1:45: PHONES OFF!!!!! Called at 2:00 PM to find out the my cat has BEEN SITTING IN A KENNEL AND STILL MOT SPAYED! She was not spayed until 3:00 in the afternoon with the excuse that "it's busy" but they'll put her under and give her something to come back up. AN 8lb CAT?! She's not a science project. She was in a kennel for more time than she was in recovery which was a little less THAN 2 HOURS! Arrived at 5:30 for the pick up and Waited over 15 minutes in an empty lobby until someone decided to step out from the back. Brought my cat home with oral gabapentin and she could not tolerate it. Was advised by a TECH to continue giving oral gabapentin when my cat was clearly adversed to it and told me to call back if she was still having problems. Tried to call back and they were closed from 12:00 on Friday until that Monday. Not even ONE doctor on staff? Closure announcement made LESS THAN 24 hours in advanced AND made through their GOOGLE ACCOUNT? Not even an email or automated phone call to inform patients? Sketchy business, sketchy service and I will NEVER go back. I will be letting everyone I know to steer clear of this vet unless they want to spend a grand for lousy service.
