The owner Leon Brooks was awesome. He was very flexible in proving movers in such short notice. The movers Inzo and Jerald were very knowledgeable and professional about the entire moving process. They provided great advice and insight on the move that helped to put my worries at ease. They took extra care in wrapping up large furniture pieces as well as smaller delicate items. I used Leon's service last year. Everything went smoothly and, though I don't remember the exact cost, it was reasonable. So I decided to use the service again to have a bookcase delivered. It isn't isn't a particularly big or heavy bookcase, and the only reason I had to have it delivered is because I couldn't fit it into my small car. I knew that, with things beings crazy busy everywhere right now and with fuel costs the way they are, I'd probably pay more for delivery this time. Totally understandable and expected. But it wasn't good. They told me they'd deliver between 10:00 a.m and 12:00 p.m, but it was almost 2:00 pm when the driver showed up. Okay; whatever. No big deal. Delivery into my house was fine; no issues. After all, how hard is it to carry in a medium-sized bookcase and place it on the floor about 20 feet from the front door? The real shock came when the driver told me what I owed Small Moved All Moves for picking up a small bookcase in Murfreesboro and delivering it to my house in Smyrna -- about 20 minutes away: $150.00. Almost what the bookcase alone cost. Talk about sticker shock. Like I said, I expected to pay more this year, but charging $150 to deliver a smallish bookcase 20 minutes away? That is nothing but price gouging. Plus, after the driver left, I sent a text asking if the delivery charge was correct, and no one responded. read more

We scheduled with Leon two weeks in advance for truck unloading the afternoon after closing on our new home. He confirmed three days after booking and touched base with him the morning before our move. Once again he verified we were good to go for 3:45. Come 4:00 I call to ask him where he was and he replied "I'm in a meeting, let me call you right back". That was the last we had contact. The lack of his professionalism is astounding. I had a small truck load of furniture that we needed to move locally. Leon and his crew did a great job! They had clear communication, we're on time, very polite and professional movers. the two crew members that handled the actual move did a great job wrapping up all the furniture and getting it in the truck/house without any damage. They worked quickly and safely. I felt that the fees for the service were reasonable because in addition to the movers, they provided all the blankets and shrink wrap and the truck. this is my second time using this company. CJ and Gerald were amazing! We have moved more than 8 times in the past 5 years and they were by far the best movers we have EVER used! They were on time, excellent at communicating their arrival time and treated our belongings as if they were theirs! They carefully wrapped all of our furniture and moved everything with such care! WARNING: THIS GUY PULLED A BAIT AND SWITCH. I needed a very heavy Tempur-pedic bed moved from a condo to a house. Leon quoted me $99. I explained that the loading dock in the condo was on there other side of the building from my unit, so he adjusted the price to $125, which I thought was fair. The movers arrived 1 hour and 45 minutes after the window Leon gave me. When he delivered the bed to the new house, they told my husband it was $190! When I got home later and found out, I called Leon who said he would refund me the difference, but he hasn't, and I can't get in touch with him. SO BEWARE! read more

Probably the most reasonably priced you will find. They helped move furniture from within the same house and also picked up furniture from 2 different locations. The young men were very nice and tried to be as careful as possible. They did arrive about 30 mins late, but given the price etc, I was very pleased. We had an amazing experience with this company. We hired them to move a LOT of stuff into some pretty small storage containers. Although they were 45 late, they were extremely efficient when they arrived and finished the job in two hours. Our movers Ty and DeMarcus were so polite and knowledgeable, and worked continuously despite the 95 degree heat. A great experience. The men were great and timely. They had to trek up stairs with a lot of furniture and at the start it was raining. They made sure they they handled everything with care. They were great on taking apart and putting back together what was needed. The owner was onsite as well and was very nice. Very hard workers and dedicated to customer service. They were a bit late, but only because they were finishing up a move from Florida and Leon was in constant contact with me, assuring me they'd be there. Once they arrived, the crew was very efficient and professional, having everything out and loaded within a half hour. Leon was available at any time if I had a question. HORRIBLE experience with Leon. We booked truck loading with him two weeks in advance, which he confirmed. Then I confirmed a few days prior again. The morning of, he calls and says they will be late. He continued to text that morning that they were almost done with another move and would be on their way shortly. I am so torn with this review. The 2 men that moved me were AMAZING. So nice, so helpful, could not have been better. The person in charge however, was not good to work with. I called a week in advance to set up a move (moving just one large item literally down the street from one apartment to another). The man (never gave me a name) just told me to text him details and responded "You are booked." No details. I asked for a time estimate and he told me between 10 and 12. Then I heard nothing. The night before, I texted to confirm and he said he would call me in the morning. At 10:20 I got a call that they were now coming between 12 and 2. At 12:30, I called for an estimated time and wasn't given an answer. At 2pm I called again and asked. He said he would let me know when they were on their way. He made it seem like I was an inconvenience for calling him, even though they were incredibly late for no reason At 3:30, they finally came. I then asked how payment worked. He said they accepted all forms of payment. At the end of the move, I asked how I should pay and the movers called the same man and he said only cash was accepted (he did not want to pay the credit card fee). This would have been fine but he had just told me they accepted any form. Lastly, I feel they just made up a price. They asked if I got an estimate, and then talked for a minute and told me a random price. It didn't seem like they really had a pricing structure (like hourly, per item, distance, etc). Overall, the two actual movers deserve 5 stars (6 if it was possible) but the company is very mismanaged. read more

I moved in from out of town and scheduled Leon to literally just carry my things from my uhaul up to my new apartment. I confirmed with him on the phone what the date was 3 times and even sent the date in the text message he asked for with my information. He text back and asked if we could do it the next day but I told him that it was not possible and he confirmed that he would still be able to do it on the date that I scheduled. I text him the day I arrived to let him know that I was in town early and that I was ready for him any time but 2:00 still worked if that was what he needed to do. He was scheduled to arrive at 2:00. 2:15 rolled around and he still hadn't arrived so I called him. He stated that he thought he was supposed to be there the following day (the date he tried to get me to switch to via text message and I declined). I call BS. He knew because I told him several times what the date was and it was even in the text thread that we were talking in. As it was almost the end of the day, I had to call several companies to schedule an emergency last minute crew. The 10+ companies I called were all booked (of course). I finally found a place that was there within literally 45 minutes of my initial phone call and were WONDERFUL! Unfortunately, they cost almost double what Leon was going to charge me due to it being last minute. He did text me later to try to come several hours later but the other guys had already moved everything. Very unfortunate experience and I do not recommend booking him unless you have a backup plan! read more
