Locals walked in throughout my experience. Hellos and catch up stories flew. The best was the hair cut. In lvl my years, I've never experienced a more professional one hour appointment. The stylists are a man down, with the owner out on convalescent leave. Phones were answered, questions from people popping in and some appointments coming in at wrong times. Through it all, I felt cared for and not rushed. Will try the nail services at some point. Fantastic place to support local.

From an HR perspective he should have been dismissed. He was saying you won't be here long and you don't know what you're doing, just sit down. But yelling and in a demeaning tone. Honestly, after being stuck there for 3 hours and me constantly reassuring his staff member they were doing good because it was the lack of communication and leadership from the owner. I actually wanted to leave but didn't because myself and another guest were standing up for his staff member. He literally belittled her and treated her disgusting. She should file a hostile workplace suite on him. To top it off, our nails were horrible. My girls never want to hurt peoples feelings but I will kindly ask for items to be corrected especially when the total was over $300 My daughter's nails were so bad she cried and begged me not to say anything. They were all filed in different shapes and even the woman who painted the design was clearly in shock with how bad of a job the owner did on them. My second daughter pedicure was a French tip with no pink paint, they still did pink but she said I can deal with it but then her nails literally no words, I did say something like you need to fix these and he said I have another appointment and I can't and there on already so I would have to restart in that moment my daughter cried. I was livid and I said you need to fix them they look horrendous my daughter begged me to leave it, so I did. My 4 year old niece had her toes and fingers painted that's all they charged us $40 are you kidding me mind you we were there for over three hours because they overbooked I'm still upset about our experience and I should have not paid for their services but I did. I went back and forth with the owner for over 35 minutes because and I quote " all prices are different then the price sheet" my niece 14 got mani pedi for $50 nope it was $75 I asked why he said oh cause the person who did her toes cost different, honestly I don't know how this place is in business. It's not clean ( osha) needs to investigate without notice and the disgusting treatment of the employees is a walking law suit for harassment and hostile work environment. What is sad about it his staff won't file because they need a job and he would be the kind of ex boss to give horrible reference feedback and really it's due to the abundance of stress they are working under and if they quit no unemployment so these people are stuck. Absolutely disgusting wish I could give negative stars because I would.

Only bad thing was; as most of these Asian places do, when doing the massage part they often don't know their own strength. This fellow squeezed my hand & foot so hard a few times it really hurt because he was squeezing my bones together. I didn't say anything about that. But it's a shame for him that he's working all by hisself. People were calling to schedule appt. & people came in. I saw him glance at the clock. I saw what must've been his lunch-a small McDonald's cheeseburger by the cash register untouched. Poor guy is very skinny. Was probably goin to take a break just before I showed up. When I lived in Fl there was nail salons all over with lots of female nail techs working there doing manicures, pedicures & waxing. This fella should have another employee helping him.
