Most expensive throw away ever. This was pretty terrible. We were walking around, looking for ice cream at this end of our really fun night and came across the spot... The "homemade ice cream" sign won us over, but, unfortunately, all of the ice cream was made in the wrong home I think - icy, not creamy, not tasty at all... Our kids actually opted to throw it away which has never happened. So - save yourself and go a couple doors down to the Sweet Peddler where There seem to be some really happy customers!

We enjoyed going to Smallcakes for our nightly family ice cream cones! The variety is great as some of us had cupcakes and others had ice cream! There is plenty of room to sit inside as a large family! The cupcakes were fresh and good. Service was always friendly and fast.

Cute sweet spot near our house. I had the red velvet ice cream and the kiddo had the peanut butter cup. We both liked our ice cream a lot.

I've been to the Smallcakes in Alpharetta, GA, so imagine my surprise and delight at seeing a Smallcakes in Rosemary. I have a huge sweet tooth, and I have to say this place hits the spot. In my opinion, it's one of the better cupcake places out there. I decided on the chocolate fudge cupcake, which was rich and filling. It had creamy fudge in the center. It was not my choice pick, but I shared it with a friend, and she's a die hard chocolate lover. It was good, but not as fresh as the ones I had back in my home state. If you really want to be indulgent, you can get your cupcake with ice cream. I guess if you like ice cream cakes, this might be the way to go. I prefer mine solo. Oh, and for the dog lovers, they offer treats for the dogs too! Mine is on a diet, so he can't have one. :( I found out that this franchise bakes and frosts daily, fresh from scratch. I also heard that the franchise was on the fun show on Food Network, Cupcake Wars, as well as being featured on the View. Even the ever-popular newspaper USA TODAY listed them in the top ten cupcake places to try in the country. Pretty impressive. With that said, isn't it time you tried one?

Moist cupcake and the frosting is not too sweet and very creamy! Delicious!

Fantastic cupcakes! Creamy and not-too-sweet frosting with a moist crumb. They are perfect.

Gotta love this place! One of our absolute favorite spots around the Emerald Coast!…read more Staff: 5/5. Absolutely lovely. One time I called to simply hold a pair of cupcakes of my wife's favorite flavor they offer (Maple Bacon) and they did not hesitate to say they'd do it for a limited time and we have never met in person. Location: 5/5. Right there on 98 in a prime spot. Be careful though - blink and you might miss it. Now inside, it's clean, simple, and colorful. You walk in and its boom! Cupcakes. Food/drink: 5/5. For the most part, everyday is something new yet something awesome. That is until the month ends, and a new batch of flavors drops. Best way to keep track of the flavors is through their Facebook page. Now I say for the most part because for example, they usually keep flavors such as vanilla/chocolate/bacon on one of their business days alongside the other flavors. Especially when the holidays come around, that's when the creativity really comes out. Now as for the cupcakes themselves (also have other items such as cake pops, brownies, cookies, etc) perfect every time. Soft, serious flavor, icing is always nice, the toppings/decorations add to it. This is handheld greatness. Pricing: 4/5. Good on the wallet but it's better to get more instead of individually. Overall: 5/5. If you don't get a cupcake from here, you're missing out!

I had my own toppers and I didn't take a picture prior to me adding the toppers onto the cake. Nonetheless, the cake was just as amazing as it was last year! I messed up the application of the creepers on the top of the cake but that was my own fault. The cake was beautiful! And it ended up being the perfect cake! Super yummy and highly recommend!

I meant everyone at our wedding! Prior to our wedding, I found Sweet for Sirten as they were recommended by Destin Bay House. I didn't have a picture to show to Jessica while explaining what kind of cupcakes I would like for it to look. We picked salted caramel and chocolate peanut butter. I wanted the frosting to be in our wedding colors. Since caramel and peanut butter were already tan/ivory, she could not make them in turquoise and coral. Instead of that, she provided cupcake sleeves in the colors! These were so beautiful. I had also explained I wanted the topper to be a seashell/beachy and she nailed it!! My guests said her cupcakes were one of the best they have eaten!! And I agree! I love Georgetown Cupcakes in DC, but hers topped GT cupcakes! (Sorry GT cupcakes) When my husband and I return to Destin for our anniversaries, you betcha we will help ourselves to cupcakeS from Jessica!

BLUF: Excellent breakfast all day and delicious, fresh donuts in a diner-like atmosphere…read more My party of three arrived at The Donut Hole to a long-ish line down the ramp and I was wondering if it's worth it. It is! The Donut Hole most certainly has diner vibes and I suspect the booths are original to its 1978 origins - both of which made for a nostalgic experience. Although named for the sweet, fried confections, The Donut Hole has a huge menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner items. My table all ordered breakfast even though it was lunch time. The breakfast was awesome - omelettes, pancakes, poached eggs, cheese grits, coffee and the most delicious rye bread. I had the sausage and cheese omelet and there was something about it that made it better than other omelettes I've had. Also, I loved the rye bread - it was sliced thicker than what I am used to and it was very pillowy. I enjoyed it dry but it was also good with a little butter. We waited about 20 or so minutes for a table, but once seated we enjoyed prompt, attentive, excellent service. And's let's not forget to talk about the fresh made donuts! Oh my, there were a lot of flavors to choose from and none of them disappointed. Initially I went with a chocolate frosted and Bavarian cream filled donut. But then a fresh tray of key line donuts came out and I had to get one of those too. My sister ordered a few and we took them back to our rental, cut them in quarters and had a donut tasting party. Delicious! I am looking forward to my return trip to The Donut Hole. A visit to Santa Rosa Beach would not be complete without a stop at The Donut Hole.

Holy tortugas! This place rocks and no wonder it is packed, the word is out…read moreVery smart scheme, they don't need any advertising because it is by word of mouth, our next door neighbor from Pensacola told us about the donuts and other items in the menu I ordered an omelette with mushrooms and cheese and it was like they would have told me to go in the kitchen and make it myself disregarding how big my stomach and my appetite would be, very generous that not even the picture makes justice to how well and generous was. Do you think I left any in my plate? no sir! Wife ordered two fried eggs that come with hash browns and biscuit and she barely finished too. Kathy was our server with a smile from ear to ear that made our day, very patient and took our order quickly and accurately. Considering the number of people in the restaurant our food came out quickly. We asked Kathy about something we saw next table and could not guess what it was on the menu. Apple fritters she said so we ordered one to go, well have it with coffee tomorrow There is a well known breakfast franchise across the highway but they are no competition to the Donut Hole, just simply there is no other place I have been in the Nation that serves as good as this and I have been to quite a few, I wish there was one near home. Place is well lit and inviting with enough personnel to tackle the crowd Place is crazy busy and when we left the line was all the way to the front porch Are we coming back? you bet we will in the week and a half we have left in Paradise. Only about a mile from Topsail Hill State Park and next time we will take the bikes, easy ride on the bike lane on Highway 98
