This was such a fun place to go too! Me and my friends came here to get some chocolate covered plátanos. For those of you who don't speak Spanish, that means bananas. If I'm going to be honest, I thought the chocolate covered cheesecake looked better so I got that instead of the plátanos. It was really good! It was so filling that I couldn't even finish all of it. I could tell that my friends enjoyed their deserts too. The inside/outside of the store was fairly clean which was nice. It had a good ambiance to it. Nigel's had good service. We have been here a few times and it never disappoints. It is located in the back away from the main square, but gets plenty of traffic as there is always a line. There are a few tables outside and none inside. Whatever you choose, they dip it fresh and I love that the toppings are included in the price. We've gotten the banana and the key lime pie, which was unique. They are a good size and better be for the price. The toppings are premixed so you have to go with their offerings and cannot have more than one as hey can't double dip. The staff is always super friendly and we make this a tradition to go to every time we are in town. read more

I went right before closing to get dessert. The workers were friendly. Everything sounded good so it was difficult to decide but I went with the ice cream, dipped in chocolate topped with galaxy crunch. It was delicious!Definitely will be back on future visits to 30a. read more

Came here because the grandkids love bananas. They were thrilled over the hand dipped bananas. They got to watch them get rolled in chocolate and then rolled in a mixture of all the toppings. To say these were a hit is an understatement. They loved them and ate every bite. I tried one of their ice cream bars. It was a chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream. Very thick, I couldn't eat it all. It was really good. My daughter got the coffee and donuts Popsicle. She didn't love it and threw half of it out. Service was good. However, the server big sighed when I didn't tip her with my second order which was me getting 2 things from the freezer and a water from the fridge which did not involve her at all other than ringing me up. Absolutely delicious! Can we franchise? Nigel's had a great selection of cheesecake, key lime pie, and bananas but we ended up with two frozen bananas with Nutella and monster toppings. These were incredible. Wait a few minutes before eating- and the banana softens into an ice cream type texture. Really well done. Easiest 5-star I've given recently. A cheesecake slice on a stick dipped in chocolate and rolled in m&ms and oreos with a drizzle of marshmallow... yeah you read that right. What a glorious dessert and punch of flavors. Service was great with a younger guy helping us quickly and answering any of our questions. Super cool to see him dunk the cheesecake and banana in chocolate and not skimp on the toppings either. Priced right as well $8-10 which is about what ice cream costs in the area. Tons of outdoor seating right outside the door, and close to the amphitheater where they do live music on nice summer nights. There are very few if any places you can get a chocolate dipped banana, cheesecake, key lime pie, or ice cream bar rolled in a concoction of amazing toppings. I don't even know where to start. It's a "bananas dipped in chocolate" shop. Those are two of my favorite things in life so I'm down for this. I got one and added sprinkles to it. A great find for the perfect evening dessert. The shop is located a block away from the main circle and was a tad hard to find without the gps. Beautiful garden outside the shop that is definitely Instagram worthy. The line moved fairly quickly. The banana is a lot bigger than it looks and the toppings were good. I do wish that they stated gluten free allergies for people with celiac, my fiancé who has celiac did not get a banana as they had dipped key lime pie. Prices were reasonable for the area. Parking can be a challenge, I would recommend parking where you find a spot and walking around. For those that don't want the dipped dessert there is a ice cream shop down the block. read more
