Overall a great breakfast spot, was a little hesitant that it was just a hyped up instagram breakfast spot in 30A. What shocked me the most was the non donut items. The burritos and the breakfast was phenomenal. The coffee shocked me also, I like very sweet coffee and I find that hard to come by. The donuts were very delicious, I would recommend getting there early if you want to have the most selection. Service was very quick considering the amount of people coming in and out. The only downfall is the condition of the donut shop. It seems like they could put a little work into the inside of the shop. read more

Came here for donuts on a Saturday morning. I was expecting there to be a line but we were the only ones there! There were lots of donuts from which to pick. We got a dozen and they were all the kings the kids love. Ones with fruity pebbles, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, m&ms, etc. They also had apple fritters and cinnamon rolls for the big kids. Service was great. Really nice store with bright lighting. Made me want to stay awhile. As for the cost, it was pricey. 40 bucks for a dozen. Looking for coffee and breakfast - This place said they were open (Wednesday at 6:15am). Pulled up and the sign was on indicating they were open but the entrance was locked and no one was behind the counter. As we pulled away, someone came out from the kitchen so we tried again. They opened the exit door and said they were open. When we asked for coffee and a breakfast burrito, they said only donuts. Hubs wasn't happy so we left without getting anything. Donuts smelled good and looked good, though. He was just grumpy with the whole experience and didn't want to support them. So we ended up driving 20 mins in the opposite direction for coffee and pastries/breakfast. Bummer. I doubt their coffee would've been very good anyways since it was one of those machines where you hit a button and it spits out a cappuccino. read more

Think Duncan donut size but much fresher and more unique flavors. They offered my little one a glazed donut hole upon entering when they weren't too busy. Grab and go style store front. This review is for Dough Sea Dough Donuts, located in the previous location of the Donut Hut, on 30A in Seagrove Beach. Look for the big Donut sign on the South side of the street! We were on vacation in May 2022 and stopped by this shop literally every morning. It's open from 6am till Noon. The staff is super friendly and helpful in making selections. They start preparing the day's donut production at 2am, so they are obviously more awake than some guests who stop in early in the morning. We loved the variety of donuts, especially for little kids. Came here to get donuts during our vacation. The workers were friendly. We got here early and it wasn't too busy yet. They have a huge selection of donuts, some fancier ones with stuff like cereal on them that cost more and some regular ones. We got all basic ones besides my daughter got ones with M&M's on it. I got a strawberry one. They have other types of pastries like eclairs and cinnamon roll ones too. It was pretty expensive, over $20 for a 6 pack. I was looking for something strong and she accommodated as best as she could without complaints. Unbelievable donuts and the staff is ultra friendly. I like donuts with a custard filling and the only type they had were covered with chocolate. I can't eat chocolate and when I told the woman helping me she offered to fill another donut (any kind) with custard. I chose the long glazed donuts. When we got home and began to eat the donuts I couldn't believe how much custard she filled the glazed donut with. (Picture attached doesn't do it justice). I came here with my son and there were dead roaches and smashed roaches all over the floor. I didn't end up eating my donut I bought because I was so grossed out by it and felt like it was unsafe to eat. Let's start with, this is a small town driven by small business. You won't find a chain place here just local small businesses who know they have you completely under their will to charge whatever prices they want and know you're stuck having to pay for them. Donut hut is a prime example of the nickel and dimeing you when your only other option is to really just say no. I attached a receipt to show some of the prices. Then showed the 3.75 kolache photo. You got that right. You get literally a third of a kolache and they charge you almost 3 times the price. The breakfast sandwich was pretty good, but again 6 bucks worth? Not really. We're the donuts good? Sure. What fried bread with super sweet topping isn't delicious? Is it worth the price? Absolutely not. You're stuck here, are there other donut places around? Maybe? Can you buy premade from a store and save money, sure. But they aren't fresh or very good. So unless you want to drive 20 minutes to a Dunkin' Donuts, then you're stuck.
