I had a very disappointing experience at this pawn shop. I brought in a brand-new ring that was worth well over $400 and asked what they would pay if I sold it. Kaitlyn (or Katie) offered me only $45. To be sure, I went to another pawn shop just up the street, where I was offered $475 for the same ring. I then returned to the first pawn shop and confronted Katie about the huge difference. In front of her coworkers, she suddenly claimed she had told me $485. I corrected her and reminded her that I had asked not once, but twice, if the offer was $45, and both times she confirmed it. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, she responded with a very cocky attitude. Based on my experience, I would advise others to be cautious and get multiple opinions before selling anything here. Honesty and fair treatment of customers should come before trying to take advantage of them. I bought a necklace from this pawn shop that was sold to me as real gold, but after getting it checked by a reputable jeweler, I found out it was completely fake!!!! I was shocked and really disappointed. When I went back to the shop, the gross over weight, smelly guy with the thick glasses was dismissive and didn't take responsibility or offer a proper solution. For a business that deals in jewelry, there's no excuse for selling counterfeit items as genuine. I wouldn't trust them again and strongly recommend getting anything you buy here verified elsewhere or just avoiding them altogether. read more

This store really nows how to jingle as many dollars as it can out of your wallet. As they sell almost everything at retail price or higher! I been to this location twice (mainly for some good deals on movies) and they still want $15 minimum for most blu rays and when most sell new for that price online. I will never visit this buisness again. These guys gave me a loan and I left them some property, a pawn loan. When I tried to pick up my property they refused to give it to me based on some company policy. Essentially they were attempting to steal my property because the value was much more than the loan they had given me. I had to hire a lawyer and then I finally got my property back while still having to pay for the loan and pay for a lawyer. This was the most ridiculous most unfair transaction I have ever had to deal with it any pawn shop in my entire life. I highly recommend not leaving any personal property at this business no matter what your contract with the people are. read more

My son wanted to learn how to play the bass, so I wanted to get him something cheap to start. Went to several pawnshops and all of them had prices by the dates (WTH), It's been a while since I bought something at a pawnshop but this places said they can't touch the price cause of the dates, I tried to bargain with them but no luck. Came to national pawn and they do bargain with the price, we left with a very good quality bass and amp for a reasonable price, and the manager was very friendly and knowledgeable of what he's selling. All the other stores were full of inventory but I guess is because they don't want to make deals, priced a bass $375 when new is $399 for $15-$20 dollars why not buy it new, right. I have bought several items there, prices average at the very best, most higher than the deals available at other shops. I completely agree with Chad. I have been to this location many times and it is impossible to get a good deal in there. They want to give customers pennies on the dollar for items and then turn around and sell the for close to or in some cases more than retail. Try their Ben White or Parmer locations. They are good people and charge reasonable prices. . read more
