Offered me $100 on a machine that runs for $1500-$3000. Just say you don't take it. Guy even admitted it went for that much. His response? I take all the risk. For $100 what kind of risk are you taking? Also YOU DONT OWN THE SHOP! So you absorb NO RISK. you can scrap the thing for scrap metal for way more than that. gtfo with this. Then said he would only sell it for $400. Okay first off you just looked up what it goes for. Very seriously doubt you'd put it for that little. They're website says they are open until 7pm but apon arrival they were closed at 6pm.this is not the only time they've false advertised.this is the 2nd time this has happened.i rely on public transportation so it's not easy to try to get to the establishment in the first place but they clearly false advertise their hours of operation.this shows no concern for others as the world is focused on running by the internet so they're company should be aware of customers times.we have to be held accountable for ourselves,so a company such as cash pawn should arise to the same standards.its companies like this that keep a bad name for this neighborhood. read more

She was very knowledgeable about phones and get this THEY HAVE DEALS ON TOP OF DEALS ON NAME BRANDS PHONES!!! They had what I was looking for. From IPhones and Google Pixels to the Samsung Ultras... I settled on the Samsung Ultra because as I mentioned Deals on top of DEALS !!! I guess it was an off day for the Cust. Svc. Girl that helped me when I went in on Oct. 24, 2024. She acted like she didn't want to be there (be grateful you have a job) and had a poor attitude towards me. I have been a customer here for a few years and the staff is usually nice and helpful but not today! I went in to sale my Coach purse, as I am trying to get money to help my daughter who is currently in dialysis. I paid $300 for this purse and they offered me $60 bucks. I was wanting $100 and she refused so I asked her for a "second opinion " from the manager. She took the purse and went to talk to Jeremy, don't know what was said, and when she came back she practically threw the purse back at me and very sarcastically announced that Jeremy said $60 and said there was a blemish on the purse, which I didn't know was there. Since my account is in good standing, I asked them to meet me halfway and loan me $80. They wouldn't do that............... read more

I went with my husband to buy a bicycle. We found one that was on sale (they were having a sale at the time) and after getting help to look and try it out we went inside to buy it. That's when the man that worked there told us it wasn't on sale it was actually 3 times the amount that the sticker said. He started to say someone put the fake price on there, even though there was other bikes and items with the same exact sticker. Then he put it on sale for a higher price and said we could buy it for the higher price or not at all. I know pawn shops are sleazy but this really puts a new spin on things. read more

Trying to sell my subwoofer box. Stood in line for like 8 mins. The sales guy helped me and brought my stuff from my car inside. Since it's really hot right now, I really appreciated it. I got what I asked but while he was ringing it up he tried to offer me $5 less. With a little push back I got what he originally offered me. It's only fair right. When I left the line was almost out the door. This place does a lot of biz. While I was waiting I saw a lot of things wayyyyyy over priced. Not sure if they want to make too much or they offered too much for the product from the jump. Either way, the only time I go to pawn stores is to make money not spend it, so for this review I'm am pleased. This place reminds me of pawn shops of yore. Dark, sketchy and items that make you scratch your head wondering if they'll ever sell them. That said, they DID have a couple of nice items at even nicer prices. read more

TLDR: Manager changed the price for a game on me from $2 to $10. I went in and found a video game I wanted to buy. The sticker said $2. I went to pay and they said $5 minimum for card transactions and I didn't have cash. No problem there, I completely understand merchant costs. I offered to trade in some stuff I had in the car for an even swap and the girl said that would be fine. I come back with my stuff and she takes it to her manager in the back, then she comes out and says the price is now $10 because it is worth $20 on eBay, that the sticker price was a mistake and that it was never supposed to be set out at $2. I asked to speak to the manager, and I told him and his employee that they should honor the price they put on it, even if it was a mistake. I even offer to pay $5 for it. No dice. I have shopped there several times before but that was the absolute last time I will step foot in that pawn shop. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. read more

I am not all that comfortable in pawn shops. Think this is only about the 2nd or 3rd time I have been to one but my iphone went out last week and the apple store said it would cost $270 to restore it, which was a lot of money for an iphone 5. On impulse, I went to Cash Pawn of Cameron. I had to wait in line for a while but Jeanelle put me at ease when she began helping me. She stayed late on a Friday night to help me. She was committed to great customer service, was knowledgeable and friendly. She really knew what she was doing and didnt seem to mind staying past her time to get off work . She couldnt find the right phone that night, but told me she would plug an iphone just like the one I had used for a long time and told me she would do everything she could to help me if I came back on Saturday. It was busy again. All of us had to wait in line again, but Jeanelle went above and beyond the call of duty to help me. I think Jeanelle could easily manage her own store and she did not even hint that I should say that. The store manager was super nice and one other gentleman helped me too. When I went there to pawn my tablet they didn't want to loan me what I needed to pay the bill I was pawning for. When I went to pick it up from there they had the nerve to charge me $43 for an $86 loan over 50 days. That's 50% interest. Aka rip off. Their items are of a slim variety unless it's a power tool your looking for. Cash America is cheaper on unrest and is friendlier easier to work with dont go here unless you about to run out of gas read more
