I am very, very disappointed with the service. I was a victim of the recent fire that burned down a condo complex so money was tight but unfortunately my phone had broken. Smart tech was the cheaper option as the screen replacement was $90. I Came in not so long ago for a broken screen and a speaker issue. Paid the guy prior to repair as he was very confident it was the charge port that was causing the issue. Told me to come back in an hour, I did. When I returned I was told he(Robert) needed additional time as he was unable to "figure" out the issue. After the additional 15 minutes, he asked if I can hang around some more as he was STILL trying to figure out the issue. Mind you, I came in at 10am (opening hours) and left at nearly 1pm with the same issues and more issues added on top. I paid $198 prior to repairs. I was already getting a little flustered and told him just to give me my phone back. He refunded me $50 , the screen repair was $90 and he advised me that he has to keep the remainder to order a new speaker. I take the phone, attempt to make a call and it works fine. Few minutes later the phone started acting out. The WiFi button went black, Bluetooth went black so I was unable to connect to either or. Video would record without sound, camera froze and so on . I came out of there with more problems than when I came in. Yesterday, 8/25/18 I went back to him to explain what was happening. Right away it was attitude, cursing so I ended up calling my husband in as he sat outside and waited. This guy talked to us like trash with no regard for my 6yo who stood next to us. He is very UNPROFESSIONAL, VINDICTIVE, COCKY and I do NOT recommend getting services from him. Funny thing, my husband asked him what was he doing with my phone for 3+hours, going through my(his wife's) pictures? And Robert stood quiet. He claims to have 3 years experience but has o experience in customer service. I am appalled and disguised not to mention, dissatisfied and disappointed that he would treat his customers in such vulgar and disrespectful manner. Sincerely The one who is about to spread the word! Very unprofessional. Explained what was wrong very vaguely, and would keep on repeating same lines when I asked for more clarification. He didnt check with me upfront for parts and its cost, that were ordered to fix my phone. I strongly felt that parts that he ordered were not all (or at all) required, but he could not triage the problem without having them all. In that case, he should have told/check with me upfront but he didnt. I ended up paying more than what my phone is currently worth. I also asked him if he wants to buy my phone instead, because they do buy old phones, to which he refused. So, he clearly KNEW the expense was not worth it and YET ordered parts without my prior consent. I would look for another place for my next tech needs. read more

Terrible shop..I brought my iPhone in to have the headphone jack replaced and when I got my phone back, it was no longer operational. They had a too bad for you attitude and told me I was lucky that they did not charge me their $25 diagnosis fee. I took it to Verizon where I had bought it, but they were not able to get it working and could not figure out what these folks had done to it. I ended up having to get a new phone. read more

Went into this place thinking they were profesionals. I needed my ipod 5th gen fixed. it needed a new charging port. i gave the $25 for a "diagnostic" wich they never did. the guy said that he would call me and he would let me exaclty waht theproblem was. wich i knew already cause my ipod wouldn't charge and i TOLD him of course!!!. these guys are irresponsable after 4 days they didnt even work on it. they never called me. Went back and asked the guy if it was ready. He didnt even know what the problem was. He told me i could be the screen!!! come on!! it wouldnt charge dude!!. all they needed to do was replace the charging port wich i ended up doing myself watching youtube videos. charging ports cost only $7.00 on amazon these guys charge almost $100 bucks. Interesting shop that doubles as a cleaner. Great service and really helpful! However, it took two tries to fix my phone. My phone's battery was having a problem in which it would die by itself once it hits below 40%. I got my battery replaced at this store but it still had the same problem. Once the battery got replaced a second time (using batteries from a new shipment they just received apparently), my phone has been working fine and the battery doesn't randomly die anymore. They didn't charge me twice either since it didn't work the first time around. I'm pretty happy with the end result and their honesty! read more

I have brought in my iPhone a few times to be repaired (to have the screen repaired and due to water damage). The guys at Smart Tech have been able to quickly diagnose the problem and repair my phone back to working order. They have provided great service and their charges are so much more reasonable than Apple. I highly recommend them. You can't beat the fast service or the price. read more

I had my phone screen repaired here. When I got it back the first time the screen was very loose and uneven. They asked me to bring it back in so I did. Upon getting the phone back the second time I noticed it was slightly uneven on the bottom, but I didn't have the patience to bring it back again. I went to the apple store to get some software help and to see if they could readjust the screen for me. They were willing to even though it was a third party repair screen which was nice.The Apple tech told me the inside of my phone was missing screws, had some damaged/bent part inside and that an entire plate that helps with keeping fingerprint scanner stabilized was missing. I was shocked that so much of the inside was damaged especially when the Apple tech said that the screen repair isn't too difficult and that whoever did it obviously wasn't careful and didn't seem to care about precision. I definitely never go here again and will be very apprehensive about third party repair places. Apple may be 50$ more but they would have repaired the phone correctly and the inside of my phone would be fine. read more
