If I could give 0 stars I would, Freddy the owner is rude so I'm going to tell you what he told me. "Go to another store.". He has a problem with someone I know so he added a 50% charge increase on all store items because he's being petty when the issue is his personal problem. This is the only liquor store you EVER need to stop in at. From spirits to domestic beer, to the largest selection of single and four pack craft beers I have ever seen, this liquor store has it all. FYI, it's also an official U.S. Post Office - "honey, where are you going?" "Nowhere dear, just need to mail a letter." Now you tell me if you can do that at YOUR liquor store! Tonight I'm sipping on an amber lager (from Ground Breaker Brewery in Portland, OR) that reminds me the beers I use to drink when I was stationed in West Germany in the late 1980's. Literally a hidden gem for craft beers!! My sister told me about this place and how they have flavorful beers here, and she was not wrong. The beer selection here is crazy and overwhelming, but in a good way lol! Terrible service by the owner. She is outwardly rude and condescending. Prior to this visit, I have come here a few times to drop off USPS packages and she's always had a cranky attitude. Today, she was extremely uneasy to talk to and not helpful. I guess if you just don't care about how business owners treat their customers then this is the place to go. My family and I were driving from San Diego county to Grand Terrace to visit extended family for Christmas. Sometime after we left out on the road, I realized that I had not brought the iTunes gift cards and Christmas cards for my nephews that I'd purchased for them for the holiday. We were under a mile from my father's house, and desperately searching for any open stores or other establishments where we could at least get a card...so I could pull money from the ATM and give them something (I felt like such a horrible aunt for forgetting their gifts at home). We tried several gas stations, which were all that were open. We sound this store tucked away just off of Barton Road...and since we aren't local or from around the area, it was literally our last hope. I looked through the window...and I saw cards! That was encouraging, so I went in to grab a couple and pull some money out. They didn't have much in the way of anything other than very old birthday cards (I'm pretty sure they don't sell many except to desperate folks like me, haha!), but I did find two neutral cards that I could use. I was super happy that I wouldn't looks *as* pathetic, and I grabbed the cards, heading to the ATM machine to pull some money out. Unfortunately, the ATM was BROKEN! Ack!!! The cashier could see my obvious disappointment...and asked me how much money I needed to pull out. I told him, and he said he would ring it up as a sale and allow me to use my debit card to pay for the items and get the cash back I needed! For a complete stranger to go out of his way to help someone who was having a Christmas Catastrophe, I was incredibly grateful. The cards saved the day, and although I didn't really get a look at everything in the store, it did look well maintained, stocked fully, and organized. The cashier who saved the day gave me a cheerful "Merry Christmas!" on my way out, and I reciprocated. I am glad to see small local businesses like this that still care about the people they serve. This would NEVER have happened at one of those chain stores, and I am so grateful to the cashier who helped us today. His actions embodies the spirit of the holiday, and really made my day (I never get to see my nephews, so I didn't want them to think I'd forgotten about them on Christmas, of all days! I highly recommend this store, based upon integrity, assistance, availability of an obscure item on a holiday when all stores are closed, and a cashier willing to go out of his way to help someone else. I just hope he got some time off today to spend with his own loved ones and family! :) read more

Lover of craft beers? If so, this place is a go to in the IE. Sooooo glad my brother put me on! The craft beer selection is huge and best part is the organization is on point. I hate hate hate when I head in for craft beer and the beer is thrown on the shelf with no rhyme or reason. If you want IPA, Saizon, Porter, Hef whatever it is it's clear and concise where exactly you should be looking. I can get in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I've been to places where they sort by brewery and honestly this is just the worst idea. If you know exactly what your going in for cool that makes it easy but if your going in to browse and try something new you legit have to pick up 20 cans and read before making a decision. I'm into Berliners/Sours whatever you want to call them. So I head to the fridge and pick out a few and I'm out. This place also has a ton of releases advertised on IG, so I try to follow to keep up. The IG is updated regularly and the owner responds pretty quickly. He is very involved and knowledgeable which is cool, you don't see that too often. But if you call in with a question and aren't lucky enough to get him on the phone your screwed. The best liquor store with the biggest selection of crafted beer , and the best customer service.

I came to this location because when I typed in post office their business came up. When I pulled up there were other customers in the store having what seemed like a nice convo. I sat in my car filling out a return label before I went in. Firstly, two people who work there were standing in front of the checkout area when I walked in and no one greeted me. There were no other customers in there at thisI said excuse me multiple times before this very rude and seemingly racist woman said "Yeah?" With a very irritated look on her face. I asked if I could drop off a package that I was returning here and she just pointed in a direction towards the back of the store. I said okay...so? She said "they go in the orange bin." Again, her tone. Like I was bothering her. I went back to my car to grab my package (shoes that I bought online for my daughters that were too small) mind you I had already ripped off the original shipping label & put on the return label that came with the order. I walk back in and now I see that there is a seperate counter where you ship things off. The lady is behind, I ask her if they had any packaging tape for my box. Again, in a very rude tone "Yeah if you pay for the roll." At this point I'm ready to give her attitude back but I refrain. Instead I said "How much?" She goes 3$ that's not a lot so I say Okay awesome & start to reach into my purse. Then she goes oh well are you buying a shipping label. I said well yeah because I'd like a receipt for proof of returning. She goes "okay well then you don't need to pay for the tape." I said alright awesome how much will it be to ship. She gives me the price and I pull out my money & proceed to hand it to her. She puts her hands up and said I'm not taking any money from you until you do what you need to do. You need a return label on this "I pointed to the side of the box where I had already put the label. She goes "This needs in actual return label idk what this is" I said i received it in the box with my purchase it's prepaid for (Vans.com does this in case you need to return your items). I said "this is what I need right?" she says "Oh I don't know it depends" Now I'm getting irritated, I said okay maybe I should just take this to an actual post office. She says this is a post office there going to tell you the same thing that I am. I said YEAH, but they would actually know that this is a return label. This lady barely wanted to make eye contact with me, and if this doesn't explain it enough she was very rude. And I am a nice soft spoken person I don't encounter situations like this often so I can only assume she had a personal problem or a prejudice because of the color of my skin. Whatever it was, of course I will never return to their establishment. This ruined my day, I don't even like driving by that area anymore. I had to share my experience in hopes that maybe she will see this and will not treat anyone like this again. This is the go to spot for craft beer from microbreweries. Definitely blows total wines and BevMo our the water for rare craft beer that you won't find anywhere else other than the breweries themselves. Here is a few items I picked up myself. First time here and definitely not my last. This is my new go to spot for craft beer! How are there only ten reviews. Y'all sleeping on'em. Sure you will spend about $6-8 per pint but you would spend that at the brewery so why not here? Also, if you buy in pack of four you get 10% off. If you have a fifth beer you don't get a discount on that one. Has to be in multiples of four. I believe I paid $30 which was well worth it to me. I spend at least $6 a pint at any craft brewery I go to. So happy to have found this place! Yeeeeeee! read more

I have been coming to Smart Time for over 10 years now! I dont live in the area anymore but I stll visit often. They offer postal services which is very convenient and they have a great varieties of liquor, beer, sodas, snacks, and energy drinks, The cashier is always helpful and makes great suggestions when we want to try a new liquor. I like that they carry different sizes of liquor so we can always get a variety for a great price. Everyone should check out this place! read more

I'm a huge advocate for supporting small businesses, especially right now! Unfortunately, staff are rarely wearing masks and seem bothered when I ask them to. It is the closest post office to my house so I drop off packages there often (handmade items I sell) and was really disheartened to see the mail lady throw them into the bin. If I could I wouldn't give this place any stars. Foremost, they advertise like they're the post office and they are not. Second, they do not provide the same services that the post office does which is deceptive if you live in Grand Terrace and expect advertisement to be honest. Third, I have no idea who the older Hispanic female is but rude doesn't even describe her attitude. After going there on several different occasions, I've stopped because I dread running into her. Ever came across someone you thought just woke up on the wrong side of life on a daily basis? Well that's her and I'm tired it. Please do yourself a favor and find a reputable smoke shop to buy your products from. I frequent this establishment weekly often daily for various products. I bought a juul replica product from them 3 weeks ago and replacement cartridges every week since then. Today I picked up my replacement cartridges and my vape did not work. I went back and wanted $5.00 off the new one. Knowing that I am a customer there faithfully they would not do it. They are willing to give up a loyal customer for $5.00!!!!
