My mom and I came for a trim and Collagen Treatment. The reservation was easy and spoke with I think was Michaela. She was the most comprensible English speaker. There was a little challenge speaking with the rest of the staff who weren't as comfortable speaking English but it was totally manageable. Alice was very knowledgeable about scalp care and noticed right away that my scalp needed care. She was right, I was experiencing more hair falling out and more irritation lately. I didn't realize that the reason was that my scalp was dry. She recommended and offered a free for today Japanese Nato scalp treatment to make sure my scalp is healthy. It made my head feel minty tingly. It felt refreshing. And had immediate relieving results. Came here 4/21/26 based on high ratings for a special occasion. I asked for a brunette base,…read morehighlights, and a haircut. After 5.5 hours and $350 + tip, my gray hairs in the front were still completely visible--the main reason I came in. When I brought it up, I was told I should have specifically asked for gray coverage, which should be part of a basic consultation or at minimum asking the client if this is something they want. I also had uneven, patchy highlights. I returned the next day for a fix, requested a different stylist, and was denied. They said the same person could fix it all they needed to do was tone it down a bit, and cover the greys The "correction" resulted in my hair being taken darker overall, with the highlights essentially gone. I paid for highlights and left with dark hair. They told me eventually it should lighten down but I'm not seeing any improvement it's still really dark. To make matters worse I also left with visible dye on my forehead something I wouldn't expect after paying this price at a salon. Very disappointing experience and not one I would recommend I honestly wanted to cry. I really would have expected a partial refund or a proper correction by a more experienced stylist.
