I requested a balayage on my dark hair. I had an outgrown balayage that was closer to my natural color. I booked an appointment with charo and she was phenomenal. She's so sweet and really takes time to make sure you feel comfortable. I wanted to go lighter this time, which I've never done before. She talked to me about the process and how she would lift as light as my hair could without damaging. I love the result and would trust her to do my hair every time. The salon itself was clean and the stylists were generally nice, and my stylist was gentle when I asked her not to pull my hair too much. However, she was late and seemed rushed. Every time I tried to be specific about what I wanted, she kept telling me, "Relax, relax, I got this," even though I was already calm. It got a bit annoying because I just wanted her to listen to my input. She did fix the frizzy blowout after I insisted, but the highlights ended up patchy and not the color I requested. Overall, it's a nice environment, but I wouldn't recommend it if you want a stylist who truly listens to your input. El salón estaba limpio y las estilistas eran, en general, amables. June 2025 I love my hair after every visit! I had been cutting and styling my own hair since COVID, but I'm so glad I finally came back. Last time, Charo did my hair and reminded me why I love this place, and I absolutely loved the results! This time, Angie did the cut and style, and she was amazing. I got my haircut a month ago and after reflecting, I don't think it was worth the $45+tip I paid. My hair lady was very nice and sweet, but the technique (or lack there of) was out of date. Cut is comparable to a Great Clips or chain salon. I wasn't expecting perfect-- as I knew this salon was on the lower end of where I normally go to. I asked for bangs and a U-cut, but when she parted my hair, she didn't use a rat tail or comb to part it. She just ran her fingers through it then clipped the rest back, which I have never experienced before? When it came to the U-cut, she did not use the thinning scissors on the ends to take some of the weight off or blend out the blunt ends so the choppiness is very noticeable. She was nice enough to curl my hair after the cut which is probably why I couldn't tell if the cut was up to par or not. I'm not really picky when it comes to hair as I like to express myself and change my style very frequently, but the service was overall, odd to me. I was able to fix the "minor" nuances at home. read more

She takes the time to understand what it is you want done and stops at every step to make sure you have input in what you like. There's a free parking lot out front which is amazing. I am so so so impressed by this place for giving my little sister exactly what she wanted. we all know how scary it is to trust new people with hair and walk out with something we didn't ask for but this was not the case whatsoever. I called earlier in the day and they were able to get me in same day, even let me come 15 minutes later than the appointment time because I was running a bit late. My sister, who's going back to school on Monday, wanted to get layers as well as face framing bangs. After a wash, cut and style she got exactly that and more thanks to Charo. I got the best haircut I've gotten so far at this salon! I asked for lots of layers and curtain bangs and it was executed perfectly. It's been a while since I've really loved the look of my hair and I'm so happy with how it came out. The cut was a little pricey at $70, with my medium length hair I would've thought it to be around the $50 mark, but I did also get my hair washed per the hairdressers request to make my hair easier to cut. Not sure if that was an additional cost but I was fine with it nonetheless. Personally, I think I would go elsewhere for routine trims but if you're looking to do a more serious or drastic haircut then I 100% recommend Angie's! read more
