I stopped in and was informed they didn't have batteries and would have to send the computer out to a company and it would be $89 for the shipping. They said I should try Batteries and Bulbs in Ft Walton, where we were staying. If they had batteries but couldn't put them in then Best Buy could install it for $40. I called Batteries and Bulbs and they told me that they didn't have any batteries and didn't have anyone to install them. I then tried calling a Batteries Plus and the person who answered was the one I had just talked to at Batteries and Bulbs. Ironically when she answered the phone when I called Batteries and Bulbs she answered " Batteries Plus" and I asked her if this was Batteries and Bulbs and she said yes. Not sure what that was all about but this time she directed me to uBreakiFix by Asurion. When I called to inquire if the had Apple computer batteries I reached and answering machine telling me I could set up an appointment. I hung up and drove to the store. There was nobody there at the time so I was taken care of right away. This was on a Monday and they Had my computer ready by Thursday. They sell insurance plans for $29. A month and you can use it to fix any electronic in your home. With 2 Apple laptops, iPhones, iPads, tvs etc. It sounded like a good deal. $50 was knocked off the repair price and when I said I needed a new screen protector for my iPhone they tole me with purchasing the insurance I would get it free and they put it on for me. Since I was visiting from WI and never heard of the company, I was surprised to learn they were national. It's nice to know there is a reputable electronic repair store in town.

They charged me $120 up front. I was blatantly lied to several times by the workers there. They were continually unprofessional. They ordered the part for my phone about two weeks ago - said they would contact me when it got in and that it usually took 2-5 business days. After day 5 i called - they said it had not arrived, and that they would email me a tracking number. Never happened. I waited another two days, called and was told the same response. Never happened. The part came in this morning, i dropped off my phone - they said it would be 3 hours to fix. I came back 4 hours later - to find out they had ordered the wrong part. They were unapologetic. Showed up at the mall gave them phone to be fixed and it was already in two pieces (screen was taken off the phone already) they said no guarantee's because phone was in ziplock bag I said no problem, I also stated that if something comes up call me and let me know. They got a pre-payment of the $55.65 and they said they where backed up I said no problem. I called them 2 days later and got like an answering service I think it was, guy said he would call the techs at the mall and have them call me back at the number I used to call him (my cell phone). 3 days later I go to mall (never received a call from no-one) waited 20min for someone to show up (this is friday at around 11am). The tech tells me phone cannot be fixed but, they where able to fix the screen (I brought the screen with me for them to use) so i asked what amount of my money will be returned to me he said and i quote "It is a standard charge for labor" and I said you fixed the screen I can understand something for that but you handed me back a broke iPhone. I also told them to call me if something came up ?. So I am only upset because they could not fix the phone at all, I went straight up the street from mall to another cell phone fix it shop they said they could fix it for $50 + tax. So what I do not understand is they fix phones yet they could not fix mine or even quote me to fix it ? (just stated that the chrome bezel around iPhone was damaged and could not be fixed, Really?).
