The bad reviews can be misleading--they come unassembled and are built on-site, so poor assembly can make even high-quality cabinets seem cheap. I've built dozens of kitchens using various brands and found that most cabinets from China are similar in quality, though their assembly instructions are often terrible. Personally, I've found J&K cabinets to be better overall than their competitors, and they remain my go-to choice. For example, a customer of mine spent $8,500 on cabinets from Lowe's (on sale), while I purchased the same cabinets from J&K for $2,300.

I had American Woodmark cabinets that lasted 22 yrs and I should have went that Rte. Instesd I used a small cabinet company thinking they wouldn't do me wrong and they did throughout my whole process. It's been a nightmare. These cabinets after 2 weeks are already cracking and I don't see them lasting no more then 2 yrs. So depressing. Please do research before buying these cheap cabinets.They are put together with staples, come in make shift boxes (should have been a red flag) and I believe I was originally sent rejects from the warehouse. The cabinet company was also mad I wanted these damaged ones replaced, what the heck??? Like I said, they must get a good commission or kickback from this cabinet company. DO NOT BUY!!

The project oversight was great by Robert and by Matt and the price was comparable to other quotes received. The detailed workmanship by Dario and Alex over the five months was outstanding, and they kept the work area neat and organized, so the mess was kept to a minimum (and there is a lot of mess to bathroom remodels!). Unfortunately, that week that line's distributor let the company know they were discontinuing the white high gloss finish. Derek was very transparent about the situation and recommended against buying the cabinets in case anything went wrong, as they'd be hard to replace. He guided me in remaining available lines and what he would and wouldn't recommend.
