What we loved about our new home were all of the big windows. Now our dilemma - what type of window coverings would let in the natural light and open feeling, but still give us our privacy when needed? When we asked the design consultant that built our home (Icon Building Group) they recommended Diane Sherman owner of Windows By Diane without hesitation. Diane met with us soon after we moved in, barely unpacked and not a single picture hung. Our previous home had Hunter Douglas custom wood shutters, but we wanted this home to have a more modern feel. Diane began by getting to know us, and asked us questions about our style and what we wanted the window coverings to accomplish. Diane is an expert on the Hunter Douglas product line and the latest innovations especially the Smart technology. She was able to visualize what we wanted and based on the interior paint color, countertops, cabinets and flooring make the perfect recommendations for our home. She educated us on the various options and cost, and was never pushy or a hard sell. We decided on the Powerview Rollershades throughout our home. In the bedrooms we went with the Duolite Shades (still powerview) but with the amazing room darkening option. It's the best night sleep ever! Once we placed the order, there was a slight delay in getting the product, but we were prepared for that with other supply chain issues, and it wasn't Diane's fault. She was wonderful about keeping us informed about when they would arrive and ready for installation. When we had an issue during the installation, Diane quickly resolved it, and came out personally to inspect the work. Her installer Kary was on time and professional. He made sure everything was working properly and that we knew how to program and operate the Smart system from our mobile phones or the remotes. He was so friendly, patient and helpful and made sure everything was perfect! Dennis was selected to assist us with the extensive painting project. He was most attentive to our concerns regarding the house color and complimentary trim and accent colors. You know that great feeling when you go to pay your Visa bill and it's over &2000 more than you budgeted because of 2 unapproved charges that would have gone unresolved if I hadn't brought it to sales attention?! That. Unacceptable. Full kudos to Dawn (our Sales Professional) for doing everything possible to reverse those charges (unfortunately, apparently, charges that big are much harder to process than they are to erroneously charge). Dawn kindly provided a receipt showing the credit went thru their bank but unfortunately the credit is still not showing up on my credit card bill and I'm getting concerned about the bill coming due before the refund is processed. So with the exception of the helpfulness of Dawn our Sales Rep, this has been far more of a hassle than it's worth and nothing's even been installed yet. The reason the rating is so high is that someone from what I guess is Eddie Z's corporate in CA called me today and said at some point we will discuss compensation for this ridiculous (my word) inconvenience. If installation happens, there are no more glitches, our credit is processed, and I am suitably compensated for my time, stress and their breaking our contract with unapproved charges, then I won't have to edit this review and lower the rating. Before investing heavily in their service, I strongly advise researching thoroughly to ensure my experience was merely a series of unfortunate mishaps, and not the norm. Update 9/24/18: Sadly, our issues worsened before we finally got proper product & installation. Eddie Z's did admit fault and apologized, but they were not willing to provide what we feel was proper compensation for the laundry list of errors and miscommunications on their part, that made this whole experience so stressful and negative that the 4 star review I originally wrote based on our great sales professional Dawn, now becomes a one-star review and a strong recommendation to shop elsewhere for your window treatments. Update to Update 9/25/19 and 10/21/19 (seriously Yelp could make this Update Review thing clearer how come all I get when I select "update review" is taken back to my last review So back to 1 (WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO) stars. Apparently I just have to accept that the tassels will break and the blinds will go slanty. Kudos to our installer poor guy drove all the way out here to explain (in MY words) that we spent thousands of dollars on crap blinds I can't use unless I want to constantly restring tassels which i can't do with severe neuropathy in my hands BUYER BEWARE

Poor quality product - 2 of 5 windows needed to be re-installed, a month later. Poor, long installation process. One man came and did not have all the product. Didn't care what was installed looked like junk. Poor customer service. Phone calls not returned was the best thing I could say about this group. Eddie Z sells a high end experience at high end pricing. The pricing is high end. The experience was less than 1 Star. I do not recommend Eddie Zs. I find it very interesting how quickly Eddie Zs responded to this poor review. It was the fastest they ever responded to the numerous issues we had with them. Fellow consumers do not be fooled by this response to reach out to chat from Eddie Zs. I actually have chatted with Eddie Zs prior to my review and quite frankly they didn't step up with a fair resolution when they had the opportunity to do so with me. I paid the bill and Eddie has my money. That I can't change for myself.....but if you read this, you have knowledge, and knowledge is power.
