My wife, kids and I visited Miami over Thanksgiving and ate at Dixie BBQ for the first time. We absolutely loved it! The Texas Hold 'Em Burger was crispy and grilled to perfection. Have been driving by this place & decided to stop in for lunch today. Clean, quick service, yummy food. Onion rings were super hot so I spread them out to cool them off. How often does that happen?? Bbq beef on both sandwiches was perfect, not fatty. The most beautiful tomatoes on the sandwiches too! I had the bbq Joe, which also has the most luscious coleslaw ever on it. Dixie BBQ is a barbecue place with pretty good food, however be advised that it is a bit expensive. Actually, a bit more than "a bit expensive," but it is what it is. Overall, it was OK food, but the price was a bit high for what it was and nothing really stood out about my total experience. I guess that I will give it three stars. read more

Being a barbecue restaurant I was hoping for barbecue brisket platter but they don't have sliced brisket only shredded brisket in a sandwich and all sides are fried so they placed their shredded brisket on a paper tray and I ordered a side of rice. Disappointing. read more

Terrible. I've been a customer from the first days they opened. Over the last few years it has gone down and down. Had a classic burger and a hot dog tonight. The burger was pre-cooked, saw it sitting in a bin when I went to the bathroom. It was overcooked and had been pressed down on the grill, no juice by the time it got to me. The hot had to be a solomons or aarons chicken dog and tasted every bit of a chicken dog. There was so much mustard dumped on it I had to take a handful of napkins to clean it off. It was so disgusting I should have just thrown it away. No one was there directing the staff and it showed. This place will get the frum new yorkers who still think frozen food is gourmet. Giving a 1, Drove 20 miles for a smoke Pastrami ..... that was not pastrami...It was pulled Beef that was poorly seasoned.... I would also say maybe 3 - 4 oz of meat....more like a Salad Sub for $20 bucks.... This is a sleeper of a place with awesome food! While in Sunny Isles we took a drive and found this jewel of a place. It's small and you will blow right by if you blink, but turn around and come back. The burgers were amazing and fried pickles best I've had in a long time. I've never written a Yelp review, but this was that good.... Before my kosher days, I was a student at the University of Rochester and late Saturday night/Sunday morning involved an obligatory trip to Nick Tahou's for a garbage plate. Fast forward to my now kosher self who never thought I'd taste a garbage plate again, but.... The dixie burger bowl, with two eggs, pulled beef, dixie sauce, pickles and an order of dirty fries dumped on top is literally it. I mean I never had it sober so it's all based on hazy memories but this takes me back.... if I don't have a coronary, I'm going to make this a regular order. Well done Dixie!!!! read more

I have been hearing a lot of good things about Dixie BBQ, so I stopped in for a bite to eat at their Hollywood location. I was really impressed! The food was fresh and delicious and it didn't take long to prepare. I tried the special menu and loved the hummus and chicken. The kebobs and fries were outstanding too. Dixie has a great atmosphere, very clean with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. And the staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. I felt right at home. This is a fantastic spot for lunch or dinner if you are in the area, and you won't walk away hungry. Highly recommend it. read more

Nice to have a casual kosher fast food option to indulge in. Especially one with the numerous choices on Dixie BBQ's menu. Though all those choices made it a bit overwhelming, frankly. There are 2 ways to get chicken, multiple choices for chicken sandwiches, as well as burgers, and more. There are numerous sauces and add ons (veggies, etc. to add to your sandwich). Between the 3 of us we ended up with a 5 piece chicken tenders (huge portion), a Dixie Fry chicken sandwich with maple beef fry and a sunny side up egg, and, a Zippy Fry (a little spicy- yum) chicken sandwich. All was delicious. The accompanying plain fries and sweet potato fries were just ok, rather bland. read more

Legit the best beef ribs I've ever had in my life. Let me tell you, I am not even kosher, but this spot came up on my on my uber eats and I gave it a try. The ribs arrived with a side of bbq sauce and coleslaw which I ordered. All said and done, around $30, which is super affordable for kosher stuff. Let me tell you, the ribs are insane. Ordered from Grubhub and it arrived fast. However, I ordered a cesar salad with dressing on the side and i got a box of lettuce. I called and told them they messed up the order, forgetting the dressing. He said "that's all that's wrong." Ummmm not having Cesar dressing is not having 50% of the ingredients in that salad. Guy said he'd have someone come drop it off. They never did. I did not eat the box of dry lettuce as a result. read more

Almost 11 dollars for 5 tenders the tenders are not even that big and no French fries or any side what's so ever come with the tenders and charged me extra 50 cents for a tiny side of Dixie sauce which should come with it.
