It was an amazing time!!! I forsure recommend especially if you need to let Some anger out! I went at 9:15 pm on a Friday night and it was a great experience! The guy who helped us was very nice and informative. Forsure come early so you can find parking! Parking was a little hard but ended up parking in a parking garage and it's only a 6 mins walk from the place.

Smash Kingdom is a blast. We had therapy up in that place. Yes, I broke the bat. Yes, the artwork came from our paint time. THERAPY !!!! The owner and staff we so helpful in assisting me with the organization of my birthday party. All my people want to make this a monthly get together.

Final response... (google search pic posted) Hi there, Thanks for your follow-up, but your reply contains several inaccuracies that I need to correct. 1. I never said you didn't call me back -- I said your customer service was dismissive and unhelpful. Facts matter and you are gaslighting. Responding to a text and returning a call does not change the experience itself. The attitude and lack of assistance are what I addressed, and that part is accurate. 2. The "New York location" issue came directly from Google Maps. When I searched for party bus services in my area, your business was listed among local results. Google placed you in the NY service area, which is how I ended up on your page. That is not my "mistake" -- that is a Google listing issue. I don't know what more you want from me here, but I don't work for you. This is your responsibility to fix. Its my job as the customer to highlight it. 3. I never received any email reply, and the person on the phone absolutely gave me the runaround. Being told "email us" is fine. Never receiving a response is not. Claiming I never emailed you -- when I know I did -- is dismissive and not reflective of good customer service. PS. I followed directions and emailed through your platform. Are you now saying your platform does not function as it should? I sent several messages through your direct website. If you didn't receive it, well.... its your website, sir. You want me to fix that too? 4. Your tone here reinforces exactly why I left an honest review. Instead of showing empathy or professionalism, you doubled down, demanded "proof," and essentially accused me of lying -- three separate times. A customer shouldn't have to defend themselves with screenshots just to express that they had a bad interaction with your business. That alone says everything. 5. You keep insisting I attempted to circumvent your refund policy. I did not. My review was not about money -- it was about the experience, the communication, and the attitude I received. Your business does not look out for its customers. Clearly. 6. My review stands as written. My experience with your company was not positive, and your response here confirms the behavior I encountered. Have a great day. (Original post) Be weary of businesses like this. I made an honest mistake, and they wouldn't even return my calls. I accidently booked this place thinking it was Albany, NY. Its listed as Albany NY in the google search, and I called immediately after booking when I realized my mistake. I obviously cannot make a party clear across the country work for my 14 year old's birthday party. Bad business. I understand cancelations affect the bottom line. This was an honest mistake, and they chose to not even respond to me and keep the money. The person I spoke to on the phone gave me the runaround. Response to businesses comment. Hi, and thank you for responding publicly. I'd like to clarify the actual timeline for anyone reading: I called five minutes after the booking. I spoke directly with someone who told me I would receive a call back. I then left multiple additional messages when no one returned that call. No one ever responded -- not once -- until I posted this review. Regarding the location issue: Your business does appear in search results in a way that made it look connected to New York, which is the only reason I booked. When a customer takes immediate action to correct an honest mistake, a business has the opportunity to resolve it with basic customer service. That never happened here. As for the claim that you "never received" my email: I followed the instructions I was given and sent the email right away. If it didn't reach you, that is still a business-side issue. It doesn't negate the fact that I made every effort to communicate, repeatedly. Refund policies are designed to protect businesses from misuse -- not to justify keeping money from a customer who reached out within minutes, spoke to staff, left multiple messages, and used no service whatsoever. You absolutely had the discretion to review this on a case-by-case basis. You chose not to engage at all. No service was used. The request was immediate. I made multiple attempts to resolve it privately. You made a choice to keep the money. I made a choice to leave an honest review.

Room 3 was entirely too small for 6 adult humans swinging dangerous weapons at bottles, windshields, and appliances. I wouldn't put more than 2 or 3 people in it. The stock photos from the business owner are preposterous. Do not wear skimpy clothing. Period.

Whatever you're doing isn't as fun as this. Stop, turn around and prioritize this experience! The staff is super helpful, communicative and will facilitate exactly the right package for you. Want to throw an ax? They got you. Feel like breaking a dial up modem? No problem. Whatever you choose, you will experience a cathartic flow of energy-prepare to surprise yourself! We did the Queen's Smash and brought our entire family of 5. Walked in and the room was filled with tires, plates and computer parts. Get on protective gear and go to town. Smash, smash, smash! It was SO fun! My kids had a great time and it was deeper than most therapy sessions for me. Have fun!

I 100% recommend trying out smash kingdom. Not only was the owner of the company extremely responsive and knowledgeable, he let us re-schedule our reservation when I showed up to the wrong smash room. I'm pretty sure he let us come on in a day they were closed too. They have a bunch of packages to choose from and the pricing isn't half bad. They set the room up for you so when you walk into your assigned smash room you can get to smashing right away! 11/10 in my book and we will 100% be back for more smashing. read more

Owner is super chill and down to earth, you make your reservation, walk in, they get you're room ready, you get your gear on and then destroy everything in sight. Sign waivers after making the reservation so you're not doing it while you're there. My whole family had a blast, great form of therapy! read more

Umm yeah 100/10 would recommend. Wear like protective clothing my homegirl was in a dress and although she survived I don't recommend. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They do let you slap your own music. Strongly suggest an unhinged vibe, we really hit our stride Chaka Khan. French Waltz had me skipping with the sledge hammer. Anyways buy the $80 printer you won't regret it I think it's my best purchase of 2024 so far. read more

This place is horribly dangerous, and run by incompetent management. They let us go into the smash room without really being clear how seriously dangerous it was. Glass was literally flying everywhere and several shards went into my leg. Maybe I'm slightly naive but I had no idea how actually dangerous this whole thing is. I also noticed in the smash room next to me a literal child was in there and management found this acceptable. I would highly recommend you do something safer that won't put you at physical risk. Even the safety glasses they provide aren't sufficient enough to give you full protection against a stray shard embedding in your eye. This could cause permanent vision loss. read more

Awesome spot! I do wish they had a bigger sign as it was a bit hard to find but overall a great experience! I took my wife for Valentine's Day and she loved it. They should add stools to make it easier to smash bottles or electronics that are harder to stand up. Will try them again in the future. read more

Had a great experience here with my cousins. We needed to let off some steam and one of my cousins had been asking to go to a rage room for a while. Searched for one locally and this was one of the first results. For a very new business, it was not bad at all and well with the money. Service was great with the staff being super kind and helpful. We would definitely go back either for another rage room session or for some axe throwing. read more

The smash room was stocked with a variety of objects to hit and there was a good selection of equipment to use. It was a great way to get out my frustrations with the world! The only downside was that there wasn't enough safety equipment. Having face shields or aprons would have helped as I got a few small cuts. read more

We booked for a large (11) person party for one of the last slots on a weekend night. The owner was super accommodating of our group being scattered with different arrival times because of existing commitments, and offered us Gatorade while we waited. Initially, the room we should've been booked to had issues, so we were put in a smaller room that didn't fit all of us. When I mentioned it to the owner, he gave us a 2nd room with more items for a discounted cost and threw in axe throwing for each of our party members. We had a great time breaking shit and have already recommended it to our friends! I recommend adding on items because they go fast with a big party, but it's absolutely worth spending a little more for the chance to throw a tv at a wall. read more

We had so much fun in our smash room! It was a highly therapeutic 30 minutes. The owner was so nice. Everything was setup quickly and it was an easy in and out. They give you your own Bluetooth speaker so you can play whatever music you want. They had all the protective equipment. I want to go back and try their paint splatter room and they even have axe throwing. Highly recommend a visit! read more

It's a great place in the East Bay to let off some steam!! I looked for one closer to Hayward, and the Smash Kingdom popped up. The reviews were good, so I decided to give it a try. Let me tell you, the reviews were on point! It looks small from the outside, but it's large inside. I loved that they had a fan because the gear they give you can get hot when you start moving around. We got the King's package and added the windshield. Found this place online and booked the same day. I wish I had gotten his name but the guy running it was so nice and it was a LOT more therapeutic than I thought. The workers were very nice & they set our room up pretty quick. We were able to play our own music using a Bluetooth speaker that they provided. The only thing is the room was a little small to be smashing glass lol the other person had to kind of stand in the corner to stay out the way. But other than the room space it was a great experience. read more

Super disappointed to even have to write this review but I had such a bad experience here. I had a reservation at 11:30 and the door was locked with no one showing up until about 11:45. Once inside, we had no real direction on what to do. The person helping us was on the phone the entire time and took an additional 15 mins to set up the room. Again, with no real direction on what to do we were left to set up the Bluetooth speaker on our own. Once in the room it was alarming at the lack of safety gear given to us. We left after 5 minutes and the person helping us was no where to be found. I reached out to the company via email to request a refund and was given the most unprofessional response, saying we smashed everything given which was incorrect. If nothing else the response from the owner was enough for me to never recommend this place or go back. read more

I came here for my friend's baby's first birthday. In Korean culture, a baby's 1-year-old birthday is a HUUUUUGE deal. It's called a Doljanchi or a "DOL"--where the baby wears a hanbok (traditional dress) and there's a ritual (sort of a fortune telling) where a bunch of innocuous objects are placed in front of the baby, ex. a string, a gavel, a coin, a brush, etc. And when the baby picks up the object, say a gavel, then s/he will become a judge...something like that. It's all in good fun. Ironically, the baby did in fact pick up the gavel, which is rare, usually babies pick up the coin or a string since it's lighter and easier to grab. I've seen pictures of my DOL and it's off the hook. There is a bunch of food, especially Korean duk and tons of fruit-- to represent prosperity and long-life. My grandparents (on my dad's side) were so proud to hold me in the photo-- I looked kinda miserable. In fact, I looked like a boy. The reason why DOLs are such a big deal is because traditionally in Korea, most babies didn't survive past their first year of life. Apparently, my mom told me that when I was 3 months old, I got really really sick, and was sick for another 3 months afterward and she was afraid that I wouldn't make it. Dramatic, right? So, when I turned one, she threw a huge party-- "a thankful relief," she said. That's why when I get sick as an adult, I get really sick because my immune system is basically shot. And it's really cute, even today, my mom freaks out when I get sick, because she remembers back to when I was a baby. And always gives me the motherly speech about sleeping more and drinking fluids..and it's one of the rare times I actually allow her to "take care of me." Heck, I think it's the only time I let anyone take care of me. Either way, the celebration was beautiful. So proud of my friend for being such an amazing mother/woman-- and she's really blessed to have such a beautiful child, who will forever love and adore her. Babies are the best, they need you like no other, and I absolutely love taking care of them.

The owners are really easy to work with and great at outlining all the details up front, so that you know what you are getting. And for the price, it's totally worth it! The space comes with tons of bells and whistles that you would normally pay extra for. That includes a sound system (for a DJ or you can use their Bluetooth and play your own music), light system, industrial fridge, microwave, a built-in selfie or Photo booth green wall, industrial trash cans, tables, and chairs galore. There's also free and plentiful parking located out back, which was a great built-in perk. There are so many things we loved about this space, including the barn door leading to a cute back patio. Great for creating indoor/outdoor space for guests. Ours used it to watch the trains going by, which was a big hit for the kids. The front of the venue is situated right near a loading dock/overhang area, which came decked out with lights and was perfect for our Piñata. There's also space adjacent the loading dock that worked perfectly for a jumper. We really enjoyed renting this space, and our guests absolutely loved it as well. There are bathrooms by the Redwood Bowl but we couldn't find any helpful maps so just used our phones to navigate. The trail we ended up taking was around 4 miles and took 2 hours. Most of it was shaded and among redwood trees so I really enjoyed that this could work as an afternoon hike. It's a moderate difficulty level with some steep areas. There's also a popular picnic area with grills and an archery range. You could even walk to the nearby swimming pool or visit the Chabot. We only did one half of the hiking loop so will be back to check out the other side.

What the what?? 0_o So, that's on me, kids. My bad. Onto the review... A giant ±1,833-acre redwood forest nestled in the Oakland Hills, this park was a former logging site back in the 1800s. Fortunately, there has been a nice resurgence of redwoods to replace those that were cut down. It ain't old-growth, but we'll take what we can these days. The Good: * Free at certain times of year and at certain entrances (more below) * Mountain biking on certain trails (check map and trail signage) * Horseback riding on certain trails (check map and trail signage) * Camping available (check website for info and reservations) * Reservable and non-reservable picnic tables (check map & website) * Restrooms available in parking lots, as well as at some campsites * Nearly forty miles of trails with something for everyone * If you're looking for a moderate ±4.5-mile loop, go to the Skyline entrance and take the Serpentine Prairie Trail to Dunn Trail to Golden Spike Trail, then back to Dunn Trail The Meh: * $5/vehicle entrance fee on weekends and major holidays between April and October, only at the Redwood Gate entrance * Most of the trails are pretty decent, but some are in rough shape due to water damage The Ugly: * One of the few parks I've seen with "off-leash" sections for dogs--which is fine, except you know there's a good majority of dog owners who think they can control their dogs but really can't. We saw a panicked guy chasing his dog down a trail at one point, and who knows when--if ever--he caught up to it. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Conclusion: Great park with tons of trails and lots to see and do.

Front desk staff was friendly and I was able to sign up for a 10 visit pass for $51, otherwise it's $6 a visit. I figured this will hopefully keep me consistent for the beginning of the year. The facility itself could use an upgrade but overall it is wat you would expect from an older building. The entrance into the pool is through the locker area which has lockers, changing area with benches, showers, and bathrooms. The pool looks fairly clean on the surface and we'll maintained. There are lanes divided into slow, fast, and medium speeds for circle swimming. Much of the demographics is 50+ during the time I went and they were all spaced out fairly evenly. The pool is actually open earlier for swim club members ($55/month) which is nice for early birds and the crowd seems younger at that time. I was told it's open to the public to sign up for that as well. The water itself was a good temperature. The pool goes from 3 ft to 9 ft. The bottom of the pool was clean on the 3 feet side, but had debris on the floor in the 9ft side. Folks would swim for about 30 minutes - 1 hour and more folks would flow into the lanes. Everyone is respectful and the regulars would chat with one another at the walls. There are kickboards and other supplies you can borrow from in a shed if you'd like. There is a lifeguard on duty. I asked her for the time, but she didn't know it, which I thought was odd because I could hear her talking on the phone or talking aloud. I asked another swimmer for the time and he said there's a clock right behind me, which I didn't see, and I'm surprised the lifeguard couldn't just tell me there was a clock to check. Apart from that, I enjoyed my one hour swim and got a reality check on how out of shape I am. I'll definitely come back to continue swimming and work my way up to the fast lane. This was such an incredible experience! I went with a group of 8 other people for the smash room. Staff was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They even brought us all water after. :) Everyone in my group had a blast. We all want to go back here again, and maybe add the paint splatter room or axe throwing next time. Cost was more affordable than the other rage room I've been to, especially when you divide it between a bunch of people. Great selection of materials to break. They also have helmets (plus safety goggles, face shields, gloves etc.). The place let us use their Bluetooth speaker so we could play music while destroying everything. Great service and self explanatory. They had a variety of things to wreck from glass bottles to old computers and scanners. They provided hard hats, face protection, and gloves.
