Great place to host a company event. Plenty of space to break out in groups to chat, lounge or play ping pong. The food was disappointing though. The staff was great. Getting people's drink quickly and they were quite strong.

How am I just visiting this place now? A friend from out of town loving games decided to book this place and it was so much fun! The tables are far enough from others so you can have feel a bit private and the food wasn't bad. The punch was a bit too sweet for me so I wouldn't get that again.

Reservation was a breeze! Pricing is nominal for our group of 6 - flat rate versus based on size of party, and we had ample time to enjoy Uno, Jenga, Pong Arcade, and play Ping Pong with their unlimited ball buckets. We had two kids that were part of our group, ages 6 and 9, and they had a blast! When we went, it wasn't crowded likely due to start of the new year. Service was great, staff was friendly. Pizza and Fries orders were amazing. Cocktails we ordered were okay, and not very noteworthy.

We joined a private family event at Spin for 14 people 50/50 adults/kids there was so much space. We had the use of three tables and abundant seating. The food was ok. Pub snack foods were served. The kids enjoyed picking up the balls with the ball catcher about as much as playing ping pong.

This place is a lot of fun. Clean & very well kept. We reserved a couple of tables for a few hours & had food as well. The chicken "nuggets" were strange, but actually tasted good. It was like the cut up skin-on chicken in bite-sized pieces & air fried them before coating them in something that tasted like cheese powder. Went well with the ranch they served. Pizza, fries & sliders were hits as well. Great place to spend a few hours.

I came here for a private event. It's a fun venue with ping-pong tables and other games in the building. Overall, the food selection was extensive, and most of the dishes were great, considering that they prepared so many. The staff provided takeout boxes for the leftover food as well. Overall, a great experience.

    I thought this was cute!

Update after event: After the initial hiccup with calling them to book the party, everything went smoothly afterwards. The rep that helped me put the contract together was quick to respond and the interactions with the staff on site was great. I actually really enjoyed the space here, so open and such a fun vibe. For a private party for 30 they blocked off a decent space for us with 2 ping pong tables, 8 paddles and unlimited ping pong balls. Drinks were good and food was good overall. In addition to some of the passes items and set appetizer that came with the package, we added on some sliders which I thought was a good idea is you want to have something more filling, but honestly the items that came with the package was A LOT already. Initially my team wasn't loving the ping pong idea but I feel like it's something that you can just pick up and have fun with and in the end it seemed like everyone had a good time. Highly recommend for large parties. Thanks. Spin SF!

This is a good spot in Downtown San Francisco to enjoy a game night with friends. Went to a private event here and enjoyed the atmosphere and the great level of service. The food was good and the drinks were refreshing. Lots of space to lounge and play ping pong. Tables were turning at Spin. Good place to have fun. For the win , you got to make it happen at Spin.

I had a great time here when I celebrated my birthday last year. We invited family and friends, played ping pong, and enjoyed it even though some of us didn't know how to play. There was a lot of fun and laughter. The food was great, and the package we got was reasonably priced. The ambiance and decor were amazing. They have a tub full of ping pong balls where you can take pictures, and a photo booth for more fun photos. The service was good, and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to have fun.

Went here for a reserved party and the front greeter was nice, but spoke very low and we could barely hear her. Our food didn't come out until 30 minutes later (which was okay because we weren't hungry yet, but if guests were hungry then that would have been a long wait in my opinion). The servers were super nice and got our drinks and checked on us consistently. When the food came out, everything was pretty good except for the Mac & cheese - it was a bit dry! The only photo that I don't have on here is the fingerlicking potatoes, those were really good! They had sparkling and still water for us to serve ourselves. I wish there were high circle tables because it was a little bit awkward sitting at a high bar table facing the wall, when you're trying to interact with people. Besides that, the place is super fun to play ping pong, and the restrooms were super clean. I would come back here again!

I had a great time here with my friend. Place was spacious and staffs were nice. Got the nachos and tacos to snack on. I didn't tried the tacos so I dunno but I can tell you that the nachos was one of the best I had in a long time. The meat was so flavorful and juicy. The chips were crunchy. It just needed more cheese. It was all at the bottom..maybe it was a way so that the chip won't get soggy and taste stale. We requested for sour cream and was given a good amount. It was so good altogether. There were staffs going around picking up the balls and refilled the buckets so there would be enough balls to play which was nice. Picking up the balls on our own would be very tiring because the ball can land anywhere. Wouldn't want to interrupt other players by trying to pick up balls. Hand sanitizers avail at almost every table. A bit on the pricey side for ping pong. Foods were also on the pricey side. Parking structure avail with a fee.

Ube Cheesecake ($19) Wonderful dessert cocktail to finish the night. We didn't have time to try the Escape Room connected to the Speakeasy, but we'll be back! There are two rooms, one in the front with a puzzle theme, and another in the back with a Middle Earth (Lord of the Rings) vibe. Staff was friendly and took time to explain the clever menu to us!

Lore's Wonderland escape room was a fun and delightfully whimsical experience. **This review is…read moremainly for the escape room, as we did not order any additional drinks outside of the escape room.** THE SPACE // Lore Speakeasy and Escape Room has cool themed decor everywhere, from the dimly-lit speakeasy/bar room in front, to the Middle Earth/Lord of the Rings-themed board game room, to the individual bathrooms, and of course the escape room's multiple Alice in Wonderland-themed rooms. Clearly a lot of effort went into building these rooms and evoking a certain vibe for each. THE ESCAPE ROOM // The puzzles in the escape room varied in difficulty - some required us to think a bit more, some required our observational skills to work harder, and others required a light level of physical skill/movement. We were perplexed a few times but never got stuck for too long, as the White Rabbit (played by Phoenix, the live actor/puzzle master) would jump in occasionally to provide clues over the speaker or in person. It took us about 1 hr 20 min to finish the entire escape room; I thought the pacing was good. THE [ESCAPE ROOM] DRINKS // Lore's escape room experience comes with "a flight of themed cocktails or mocktails, including "potion"-style drinks that are integrated into the experience as you progress", per the website. We got to choose one cocktail/mocktail option (Korean Cold Noodles) from a list on the website, and the other two drinks are pre-selected to supposedly fit into the Wonderland theme, with the flavors described online as "berry" and "peach". You can get both cocktail and mocktails for your party, in case some people want alcohol and others don't. We all enjoyed the flavor of the Korean Cold Noodles cocktail, which was refreshing and surprisingly a bit minty in the mocktail version. However, we didn't like the two other two pre-selected themed drinks as much. The "berry" drink gave us cherry cough syrup vibes, and the cocktail version of it was quite strong. The "peach" mocktail drink reminded me of canned fruit syrup; we also were missing the two cocktail versions, though we decided not to ask for them as the mocktail version already was less than impressive. One other missed expectation here was the size of the drinks that we received in the escape room. We were expecting full-sized cocktails, like what they serve in the speakeasy in front. Instead, we found out that the drinks are served in small "vials". Given the size of the drinks in the escape room, combined with us not even enjoying two out of the three drinks, I would preferred to go through the escape room without the drinks at all, and likely pay a bit less for the escape room then. OVERALL // I'd still recommend the escape room as a good one-time experience with a date/friends/family. Just don't expect too much from the included themed drinks! The speakeasy drinks on the main menu do sound unique/tasty, so I might come back again to try those sometime.

The Hojicha Affogato was their dessert, and it was also great. It had dark chocolate gelato and a raspberry compote. I came back to try the Matcha Einspanner since I heard good things about it. I never had one before, but if they're all like this, then I love einspanners. It had a super thick whipped cream with a nice high quality matcha. The service was also very friendly. And since this is a bar/ cafe, it's super chill vibes.

Absolutely stunning speakeasy style bar attached to the cafe. Get your coffee and head on over for…read moresome cozy and intimate settings. The decor is dark, moody and heavy Asian inspired. Do your meeting or work from this location. The back has a restaurant or private party setting. The coffee is good but the milk need to be swap out. Not the optimal combo. The staff are very respectful and quick to service.
