I always order the Classic Smash burger, the regular fries, and the vanilla milkshake. And they are all delicious!! They also have Smash fries, with are seasoned their special way. Those are good too! They offer a good variety of burgers and drinks. The burgers taste nice (they taste just really good, its hard to explain :p ). I cant speak for the other burgers because i havent had them (i dont like to try new things). The prices are okay, theyre not overwhelming but theyre not like burger king prices obviously. The atmospher could be a little more warm (literally - my seat is always cold) but other than that its a nice place to go out to eat when you want something that will fill you up and that tastes really good! read more

While the burgers / food in general is really good, you always have to be careful to get everything you ordered. We order there regularly and literally every time something is missing, let it be one order of fries or (usually) a soft drink. It's pricier than other Fast Food Burger places, but you can tell the quality is better and you get more for your money. Check the order before you sit down / the waiter leaves your table / you get in the car to go home and you'll be fine, but they definitely have to work on that. read more

First time at a smashburger and the burgers /sandwiches were very good. Fries were not so great. The fries reminded me of those pathetic skinny unsatisfying in-n-out fries which are more like potato chips. I would definitely come back for the burgers but I did notice the service was not too great at this particular location and that gives me pause. If I do go to smashburger again it might be at a different location. When I ordered I said hello to the girl at the register and she looked at me like I was a weirdo, lol. She did say hello back but she definitely was just trying to get my order and finish her shift. Here they ask for your name when they take your order but that was pointless since no one seemed to be calling people over to get the food. Which is ridiculous. One of the guys who works there seemed to notice us waiting longer than usual and asked what my name was, if he hadn't done this my food might have gotten cold. Kudos to him but he was one guy everyone else working there permeated an air of not wanting to be there. Then he told me to make sure it was my order, lol. So that makes me think they screw up orders a lot. Maybe it was a new crew, maybe they were having a bad night or maybe they just hate their jobs but in any case crappy service is crappy service and hard not to notice. I have been to this location twice. First time was great. The second time the food was just as good! However, I had what appeared to be another patron deliver my food to me. Before I could say anything, she walked up front to the counter (she was sitting at the hi tops before). Even the people next to me commented that it was odd. I went up front to ask why she had my food tray (thinking they dropped my food off to her by mistake). When I questioned her why she delivered my food, she turned around and pretended not to hear me!! When an identified food runner asked if something was wrong, I told her the issue, and then said "oh, it's ok. She works here." It's not ok. No uniform, no nametag. I ordered from this location for the first time today via Door Dash and they got my order wrong; I asked for a Create Your Own Black Bean Burger and they gave me a beef burger instead. The toppings were right, so I guess they deserve credit for that. While I mostly eat vegetarian, I do allow myself meat on occasion and was due to have a burger, so I let it slide and decided to eat the burger they sent me despite the error. The burger was tasty and I enjoyed the fries and haystack onions as well, but as one other person pointed out their food is GREASY. I realize this is to be expected of fast food, but I couldn't help but balk at how soaked with oil my bags were when my delivery person handed them to me. I ordered a salted caramel milkshake as well, which was decent despite being a bit on the small side and not all that salty despite the name. All the negatives aside, the meal was decent enough and I would probably give them another try. I am so disappointed in the smashburger location at Pelham manor in New York. I used to come here all the time and it used to be great. I don't know if it's under new management or what but this place is DISGUSTING. I can't speak for the burgers because I always get the chicken sandwiches. They used to taste amazing. Went to go get some today with my mother in law & the chicken patty in my sandwich was fried WAY too hard. The meat was dry, and the bun was dry as well. I complained to the manager who was a nice man. He said he'll have them remake the sandwich. Next thing I know, he comes back out saying "that's how the chicken patty is, if you don't want it fried as hard it might come out undercooked." I was very annoyed because I know this is not how the sandwich is made. A lady next to me said "is he giving you a hard time for your food?" I said "yes, this isn't how the chicken sandwich normally is! This is so dry and fried so hard" She also agreed and said "i was just saying this to my husband!! I am never coming back to this location again". My food was ready 30 minutes later. And STILL the patty was fried hard the same way. I was very disappointed with my food. UNACCEPTABLE. I NEVER want to eat here again. But sadly this is the closest location to where I live. Hopefully they get better chefs or management or SOMETHING!! Ok, so we took 32 7th-12th grade school kids on a trip to Boston, Mass. On our way home we had planned to stop at a different location. After several of the kids downed HUGE drinks, we decided to pull over and eat lunch. As we looked for a place to park our big bus, we spotted a SMASHBURGER. Having never eaten at a SMASHBURGER before I was unsure of what to expect. This burger joint is awesome! I wanted to try everything! The manger was onsite to make sure we have every expectation met. I apologized for not even calling ahead to let them know 40+ people were arriving with empty stomachs. They took everything with a great attitude and had our food served hot within 15-20 minutes! The food was exceptional! All the kids loved it and wanted to know if SMASHBURGER was coming down to the south! I give this particular restaurant 5 STARS! Was there twice - had a burger with cheddar and a burger with cheddar, bacon, and onion. It arrives with fried onion strings on it, rather than onion slices. The burger was flavorful but the toppings on both occasions were all too salty, making the sandwich very salty. To their credit, they had unsweetened iced tea. I suspect their customers prefer over-salted food. Will try another store in a different neighborhood. read more

Tonight I visited the Smashburger location in Pelham, NY. The store was FILTHY, the staff was SLOW and it seemed that they couldn't careless that the store was jam packed with people waiting for food. The air conditioning was blasting so cold that aside from everything else going WRONG, it was impossible to enjoy myself in the restaurant. After waiting 25 minutes for my food (a burger NOT a filet mignon mind you) the cashier only put in 1 of my burger orders so I had to give my food to my nephew because I was not going to wait ANOTHER 25 minutes for my food. The cook had long hair only held back in a baseball cap which is pretty GROSS. I don't know what he has in his hair?! Honestly with all the burger places opening up, this store needs to step up their game. Next time I will gladly visit Shake Shack in Yonkers.
