    Classic Double

This was my first time eating at Smash Burger since moving to Denver from Texas. I like to think of myself as a smash burger connoisseur since having a delicious Cali Smash back in my California hometown. My husband and I came mid afternoon and were met by Lily. She was amazing - incredibly friendly and personable. She gave us some recommendations and we went ahead and opted for the Classic Double and fries. We were met with hot, delicious food. Lily came by a couple times to check on us to see how everything was. I asked for some ranch and she obliged. Honestly, I am impressed with Smash Burger overall. I will definitely be back.

Stopped by Smashburger and left with a full stomach and restored faith in humanity. Rafael was the MVP--courteous, helpful, and genuinely made the whole experience feel like a five-star dinner instead of a quick burger run. The food? Smashingly good (sorry, had to). Juicy, flavorful, and exactly what you need when you're craving something that hits the spot fast. Great food, even better service. Rafael, you're the real smash hit here. I'll definitely be back--probably sooner than my diet would like.

    Food splashed on window shade.

Dirty floors, walls, tables & window coverings. Staff looks leaderless and unhappy to be here. Kitchen music is louder than house music. This place needs a reboot. I won't be back for a while of at all. AND you ask for a tip at time of order!? No thanks. Update....i returned my burger as it was undercooked/raw.

First up when I walked in it felt like as if I entered some sort of dream, the place was clean, organized and on top of all of that their was quiet relaxing music pl from their speakers, the employees were really nice, I ordered a double burger with fries and I got a Aciai Blueberry Pomegranate drink which was cold and refreshing, my only complaint was it had a slightly bitter aftertaste, when I sat down, the seats and tables were practically spotless. When I got my burger the flavors worked really well together and the burger didn't slip, showing the people who made it had a good idea of burger composition, my only real complaint is they didn't give us napkins.

My first visit was so nice. Second was very disappointing. My rosemary garlic wings were plain. I didn't find out until I got home. Loved my smashed tots until I got to the last few and found they were sitting in a puddle of oil.

11/21/23 ordered chicken wings. They were RAW! Raw! I also ordered grilled chicken sandwich, it looked pink to me. I did report it to store and crop office. Never heard from anyone.

Great atmosphere on a beautiful day. Ordered the basic burger and fries with small changes to the condiments. No worries with ordering or the wait. These are how french fries should be prepared. Excellent! The burger was a great in itself. Near to many hotels and worth the walk to explore. Sitting on the patio was pure enjoyment. From the friendly staff to wonderful fare, this place rocks!

    HAYSTACK ONIONS

The onion straws were all stuck together in like four onion tangles that were kinda burnt. It' was the only thing I ordered, too...

Say Hello To A Denver Original!! Smashburger was born and raised right here in Denver, Colorado. Founded in 2007 by Rick Schaden and private equity firm, Consumer Capital Partners, the company currently has more than three hundred corporate and franchise restaurants in thirty-two states and five countries. So what sets this fast casual burger restaurant chain apart from others? The food! It's always about the food!! Smashburger has quite the impressive menu, chock-full of Certified Angus Beef burgers, veggie burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, sides, and incredible hand-spun shakes and malts made with Häagan-Dazs ice cream. And there are a ton of toppings and customized options to make your meal the best meal it can be. I'd give Smashburger two thumbs up, but I need them for holding my burger and stuffing my face!!

Our group of six was seated without any trouble, and the staff kept things friendly and straightforward throughout the meal. The burgers came out hot, fresh, and seriously juicy. There's also a strong drink selection with local craft beer, cocktails, shakes, and soft drinks. Good portions, well-made burgers, and a laid-back atmosphere make this place an easy recommendation.

We told the waitress about our previous experience regarding my boyfriend's burger being super raw and she suggested that he get his burger cut in half, which worked! It was cooked well. I got the tuna melt and it was pretty standard, but delicious regardless. The star of the show, however, had to be the appetizers. We got the wings of two flavors that the waitress recommended. I don't remember the names, but one of them had a mustard taste to it and I really enjoyed it. My boyfriend and I are obsessed with the pretzels. They are soft, warm, and go perfect with the dip so well. Cherry Cricket this time was a great experience and we would come back for the pretzels alone.

Ok no big deal I guess - it didn't look very busy, but these things happen. We were sat and our server took our drink order right away. The cocktails were very good - I tried the Living on a Pear which was very refreshing and the rest of our party had the 1858 which they liked a lot. Once we got our drinks no one came by for 30 minutes and I had to flag someone down to bring us some water. At 30 minutes we asked if chips and guac was an option while the kitchen was "temporarily not serving food" but the server said all the fryers were full with fries so no they can't do that. Ok... so we continued to wait. It was around the 45 minute mark we were able to order so they were true to their word. This is what we ordered: - Pork Belly Bacon Scoops - these were just ok. The fries were nothing to write home about and there wasn't a lot of toppings. The pork belly bits were very small and kind of hard and chewy. The sauce was decent, but just not enough of it. - Li'l Wig - I'm sad to say this was one of the worst burgers I've ever had. I requested medium rare and I don't know what the patty is made out of it, but it resembled more like meatloaf than a burger. It was very dense and had a strong gamey taste, reminded me more of bison or venison. Idk, it was just not very good. I only took a few bites and left the rest. The brioche bun was tasty and so was the W sauce. The fries were really good and had a nice crunch. I wish the appetizer used those fries instead. The service was inconsistent. We were barely checked on until the very end when we had a few different people come by and refill waters / bring the check. We never saw our original server again. It is a nice vibe inside, great lighting and decor with both indoor and outdoor seating, but I don't think I'll be returning. The bill was $133 for 3 drinks, 1 app, and 3 burgers. Felt pretty let down leaving still hungry and over $150 in the hole (after tip). Hoping it was just a fluke and other people have better experiences there.
