Great venue for a concert, standing room only (not really my first preference these days), parking is available but goes fast (early arrival gives the best opportunity). We did not have the food. The service as far as entering the venue, showing your tickets, etcetera was seamless. Again, there's no vip seating or box seats, it's a bowling alley turned concert venue so general admission/first come first serve rules apply. My only gripe would be how cold it was inside. Of course, the more crowded, the less chilly. But still, you could feel a draft whenever the doors opened. Overall, we had a wonderful time. I'd go again!

Silverball is acclaimed for its unique pinball collection but I veer more to video games, especially Super Breakout. An offseason weekday in Asbury Park means hotels aren't $400 but the boardwalk is also a bit too quiet at that time, so I'm thankful that Silverball helps create a sense of place year-round. (For my financial news nerds, Silverball's current rating average is 4.6 and there should be an "adjusted EPS"-type number that excludes any negative reviews about the food. This is an active village in a vast area of cranberry bogs and blueberry fields. I attended the 34th annual blueberry Festival on a lovely day in June. Parking for $10 was a bit tedious because it was located on a landing strip about a mile from the site. Shuttle buses somewhat alleviated the issue. The festival is like any fair I have attended, nothing special under the sun with various vendors and support groups in tents. There was also an entertainment. For $5 you could also be transported to the blueberry fields and pick as many as you can in a half hour. There also was a pie-eating contest which was quite amusing. Various groups displayed their " antique agricultural" wares which I found very interesting. The General Store is in the center of the village.

As a representative of the club's leadership, this interaction conveyed not only a lack of basic courtesy but a fundamental misunderstanding of how to engage prospective members. A club's leadership sets the tone; in this case, it fell well short of the hospitality and respect one would expect.
