Owner is friendly as hell, prices are amazing, tournaments every week. This place is the best. Never going anywhere else for MTG.

This review is for the restaurant in the Tom''s River Country Club, not sure if it has a specific…read morename, but I am sure it is a FANTASTIC spot with excellent food in a beautiful setting. My pal and I started with a couple of cocktails, I picked the sangria and she went with the espresso martini. Both were really good and well prepared. Next came a bread basket with the most exceptional bread. It was an Italian sesame loaf, but the interior was yellow, almost like an egg bagel and it was 100%. It was so good, that I asked for some extra to take home and made epic french otast with it the next day. It was THAT good! After that we both got french onion soup, which was also 1975 fantastic and just the way I like it, with tons of gruyere baked on top. For my main, I went with the Chicken Don Pepe- Which was a breaded chicken cutlet served with roasted tomatoes and red onions over basil risotto-truly fantastic and a VERY generous portion, enough to take home for lunch the next day. We were way too stuffed to go for dessert, we just headed outside to a few comfortable adirondack chairs and look out at the beautiful landscape.

We got the croquettes as an app, and they were very good! Super soft on the inside, u was a bit surprised at the texture! I was very excited about the cheese wheel carbonara. It was more exciting to watch them make this then actually eat! It was almost too creamy I'm not the best way! Service: not the best. They had a spill, which is fine but it took us a really long time to get napkins yo clean it up and they didn't really do anything about it Price: pretty pricy given portion sizes and quality but I guess it's the price you pay for the view

MY EXPERIENCE WITH HOMESHARING -- A WARNING ABOUT SYSTEMIC POLICY FAILURES…read moreI used HomeSharing's services for about 7 years and welcomed several individuals into my home. While the mission is meaningful, my experience exposed serious policy and procedural gaps that homeowners should understand before participating. When a major issue developed in my home, I contacted HomeSharing for support. I was told they could not assist because both parties were considered their clients. This left me without mediation, guidance, or intervention during a situation that ultimately required about $20,000 in legal fees to resolve. Earlier in my involvement, I was introduced to a potential seeker who disclosed a compromised medical condition that had already required hospitalization and rehabilitation. I declined the match due to safety concerns, but the experience raised questions about how placements were screened and whether the organization's policies adequately protect both parties. I also discovered that two people had been placed in my home despite a town ordinance allowing only one. This should have been caught through basic procedural checks. The Lease Agreement offered by HomeSharing did not provide the level of protection I expected, and in my case, it did not help prevent or resolve the situation. I served on the organization's Board for a period of time but chose to resign after these events. Based on my personal experience, I no longer feel comfortable recommending HomeSharing.
