The sweetest assistant, Emily, kept reassuring me that everything was okay. She was such a doll. She was also training another young lady. Emily was very professional with her training. Dr. Shah was so lovely and calm and kept telling me they'd "seen worse". I honestly hope to calm my fears and become a regular patient here. Even the staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. On Monday (8/10/26) I needed to have two cavities filled which I have not needed in 20+ years. I was understandably anxious after some poor experiences at other practices. Dr Leo was a consummate professional and his "chairside" manner immediately put me at ease. Throughout the procedure he and his assistant Jane were comforting and checked in with me often to ensure I was calm and relaxed. It turned out there was an infection under the tooth and that the prior root canal could be improved. I saw Dr. Machado at Cherry Creek Endodontics, and he did a great job. During the evaluation, he walked me through the 3D X-ray, explained what he was seeing, discussed the infection and the condition of the prior root canal, and laid out my options clearly. I really appreciated that level of transparency and explanation. They were also able to do the retreatment immediately after the evaluation, which I was very grateful for. Dr. Machado took extra steps to help give the tooth the best chance possible, including placing medication/calcium in the tooth before permanently sealing it. They did this twice before the final sealing, which made me feel like they were being thorough and careful rather than rushing the process. It is still too early to know whether the tooth will ultimately make it, but I feel very good about the care I received. They made me as comfortable as possible during each procedure, and the numbing was highly effective every time. My only complaint is that the pain the first night after the initial procedure was unbearable, and I was only advised to take Tylenol and ibuprofen. I got essentially no sleep that night, although it improved after that. I understand this may be standard practice now that stronger pain medication is less commonly prescribed, but I would have really appreciated even a very small short-term option to help me sleep the first night or two. That said, everything else about the experience was excellent, and I do not feel right taking off a star for that. I'm grateful for the care, skill, and responsiveness of Dr. Machado and the team.

Insurance can be scary and uncertain, and as a patient I want to know (1) what the procedure is going to cost, and (2) if there's uncertainty around costs, what they are, and how they might be resolved. Having a patient and empathetic billing person would go a long way to helping this.

I had a crown break and come off over the weekend. Searched the internet for dentists on Monday. Dr. Wallin had great reviews. I called and his office was closed until Tuesday. I was not in pain, so left a message expecting an appointment within a couple of weeks. Tuesday morning I receive a call from Dr. Wallin's office telling me they could fit me in at 11am that morning! When Dr. Wallin and his assistants examined by crown situation, he told me that they had a last minute cancellation and he would be able to fit me for a new crown right then!! Additionally, I explained that I was late for a cleaning. He checked with his Hygienist, and she said she would clean my teeth while I was there too! Less than 2 hours later I walked out following a full dental exam, complete set of new xrays, and a sonar teeth cleaning to boot. Dr. Wallin provided me with a full consultation about the condition of my teeth, gums and mouth. One of his nurses gave me an injection prior to preparing my new crown and I never felt even a pinch from the needle. The office manager fully explained all itemized costs prior to any procedures and what my insurance would cover. The prices were more than reasonable ( I have had plenty of dental work). I left the office feeling like I just met a bunch of new trustworthy friends who really cared about my health.
