The company stated "it's their choice to have a car or not." She seemed annoyed that my grandmothers needs are laundry to be taken to a laundry mat. I wasn't going to completely ruin their company at first but we also had theft from caregiver #2. They also violated HIPPA by communicating with a family member which was not authorized to receive ANY information.This company is a complete fraud and we plan to report them to Medicare for straight out fraud. Hopefully these frauds get closed down because they are NOT helping seniors at all. Do yourself a favor and ask your local reps, mayors, village administrators to suspend their business license.

(Sorry to break your 5-star streak, Sylvie!) The cost is reasonable, and the shift hours are more flexible than other home help agencies. Sylvie was always responsive to any question or concern. When I contacted her with an urgent need for 24-hour care on short notice, she made a herculean effort to fill all the time slots, and came through for us. The agency seems to be highly selective in the caregivers they choose. Not only were the helpers generally more experienced than one finds in other agencies, they also appeared to be well-trained, resourceful, and highly intelligent. My mother has a long history of hostility toward home caregivers, and she did not like all of these caregivers either (although she did click with one of them, and there were a few others she probably could have come to like, given more time). However, I found all of them extremely kind, competent, and capable. My only issue was that some of them did leave a bit of a mess behind and disturbed my mom's impeccable arrangements of linens and other belongings somewhat. A minor matter, and partly my fault, for not leaving better instructions on how to find what they needed. Highly recommended.
