Upon arrival the building was locked until 12:45, once you get into the building and ride to the second floor. We had to wait in a little hall with patients from other offices pasting back and forth. After about 10 of us line up and down the small hallway they finally @ 1 on the point they unlocked the office door and make you wait again for them sign in to their computers, so they are able to check you in. Once I was called the women had no idea what my appointment was for and blamed it on the call center that made the appointment. After confirming they would NOT charge me for the visit I cancelled the appointment and exits the building. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND......

I got a rude welcoming saying that I was a few minutes late and they have a 10 minute policy rule. The dentist didn't even take the time to get to know us for a new patient. She seemed like she was in a rush. All she did was brush my daughter's teeth for 2 seconds, said she's done and left. She also had me hold down my 2.5 year old while she brushed her teeth. She didn't give me info or advice about anything. I told them my daughter was a thumb sucker and had nothing to say. Their website even says that they will talk about nutrition and ways to break a thumb sucking habit. They looked annoyed and we were rushed out the door without having done a complete cleaning/exam. Don't come here if you don't want to get ripped off.

Once we returned for the visit, my daughter had then been determined to have several cavities after being told it was just enamel discoloration. So dissatisfied! We started going to this office as a second opinion after a pediatric dentist office in Charlotte quoted us a $6,000 estimate to fix my daughters baby teeth. She was three almost four at the time; I cried at the estimate and the dentist (at Charlotte pediatric dentistry) informed me that if I couldn't afford the work they could just pull her teeth. So we followed advice of a friend and got a second opinion and we met with Dr. Long. He knew immediately he help her . He did simple cosmetic work, fixed her cavities, everything that needed to be done for $800. He even let me ask him a million questions about health stuff and teeth and didn't treat me like I was stupid or discount my concerns. I am so thankful for him! They always let my daughter get her work done without gas which is wonderful because she is terrified. All around awesome staff too! I'm posting a picture of Stella with Dr. Dove who is also great and apparently has a similar "if it's not broke don't fix it approach" we have seen her a few times as well and really like her. Asked me why my teeth had so many cavities so I was honest and told her my depression was horrible for the past few years so I never had the energy or motivation to take care of myself. She straight up called me lazy. Then went on a rant about trans people (because I'm trans lol) and misgendered the patient she had before me, calling them confused. Then began to say things like "did you know people identify as animals and they put cat litter boxes in schools now?" Which is a blatant lie and just a thing transphobes believe and spread around even though u can literally Google it and see it isn't true. Second experience, which was the worst : I had one of the worst experiences getting fillings here. The guy doing my fillings did not stop or give me more numbing like I needed, it was the most painful fillings I've ever had. He went way too close to the roots on so many of them and it hurt horribly. He also did not file/sand(?) one of my back teeth down correctly after a filling so it stabs me in the tongue. Just a year or two after that I got a new dentist and got tooth infections IN ALL (3) OF THE SAME TEETH THAT HE PUT FILLINGS IN. My current dentist (who works at Dentistry of the Carolinas, PLEASE GO THERE INSTEAD) explained to me that he put the filing extremely close to the roots in my teeth so it was being irritated by them and caused an infection. I had to get three root canals throughout one year. I might have to get another one in another tooth that was done there. Please go somewhere else.

A couple of years ago after Covid, I scheduled my yearly exam and it went well. Loved the hygienist. However more recently the front desk staff has been rude and lack customer service skills. The dental hygienist I saw in January was not nice and made me feel uncomfortable as if she was judging me. Fast forward to more recently I had a few rescheduled appointments that I had due to work hours in the past few months. On the day of my rescheduled appointment, I was caught in traffic behind a car accident which made me late. I called and told the front desk and they stated ok. By the time traffic cleared I was 17 mins late. When I explained to the front desk staff that I was late bc of a car accident she rudely told me I was being dismissed as a patient. I had been a patient for over 15 years with no issues until the new staff and dentist took over. I do not recommend this office due to horrible customer service with rude front desk staff with attitudes, the dentist barely examines you on visits and the overall experience is horrible.
