MIAMI, KENDALL OFFICE They told me they do not DO EXTRACTIONS!!! PURPOSELY CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THEY DO NOT DO EXTRACTIONS!!! Which 10 months ago I was supposed to go back to have EXTRACTIONS done. Unfortunately, fright took over me and I kept putting it off. I put it off until I just couldn't anymore. I scheduled an appointment to finally get it done. I was referred out to another dental group, that DID NOT use my insurance. My out of pocket expenses ended up being so far out of my reach, I had to reschedule. I reached out to SMILE PERFECT DENTAL STUDIO and asked why did they send me to a dental practice that did NOT accept MY insurance? The gentleman in the office, returned MY CALL ASAP, only to tell ME A BIG FAT LIE!!! He said his office DO NOT DO EXTRACTIONS!!! Which SURPRISED ME, since on my initial visit and Xrays and exam, my next appointment was to have the teeth they looked at, extracted!!! When he told me they don't do extractions. I went to their website and YES, THEY DO PERFORM EXTRACTIONS!!!! He called me just to LIE to me!!! Why, I'm STILL TRYING TO FIGURE THAT OUT! I won't even get into being left in the dental chair on my back, for almost 2 HOURS!!! TWO hours without one person coming back in to explain to me what was happening. In the meanwhile, I'm laying there nervously waiting, believing I'm about to get the extractions discussed on my very FIRST VISIT with them. My experience with that OFFICE went from sugar to sh!t from the very first visit to my second one. I would stay as far away from that office as you possibly can. I don't rate it more stars because they are a fraud ! Dr seems to be really good but as far as payment wise and insurance and Medicaid they lied ! After I got my regular scan and pictures I was transferred to talk to a girl about my payments which whe are talking about 4K or more while having Medicaid . When I question her about what my insurance was covering she said practically nothing because now Medicaid is not paying do to the fact that a lot of people are getting it . That's not a answer so I left with a appt that I will not be going to pay out of pocket extractions , but I called my dental insurance and they claimed that they do cover my extractions so they ask me to please call them with them on the phone and when the "manager" was question by my insurance representative she said that she had told me that the dr that works with Medicaid does not do any procedure until July ! They are playing with people looks are deceiving place is very clean but they are beyond {DESCARADOS} . She never said that to me if she would've I wouldn't be looking st**d calling my insurance ! And hopefully they don't bill a cleaning because they never did one . I never write reviews but this people deserve it and lucky enough that I didn't call fl Medicaid ! read more

Do not go to this dental office. The office staff is friendly; however, they lie about charges. They also lie about procedures that need to be completed So the dentist and office manager/financial staff must be in it together. They were making it sound like if I was confused about the charges and insurance converges... I conferred with my insurance about charges and they had to refund me the money. They are snakes...I feel bad for the elderly or anyone that doesn't look at invoices or other documents. Avoid this place! read more

Horrible experience. I waited for two hours, one at the lobby and the other hour inside waiting on the dentist. I got up and I left. the prices are off the hook for non-insurers. The staff is all over the place, pretty loud. no professionalism at all! won't be back EVER!! read more

Muy mal servicio primero te dan appointment y cuando llegas te dicen que es por orden de llegada y no te atienden hasta que se terminan con el último sin importar el appointment. Las secretarías son malísimas no te dan información y groseras. Very bad service first they give you an appointment and when you arrive they tell you that it is on a first-come, first-served basis and they don't attend you until they finish with the last one regardless of the appointment. Not just with this location but with the other one as well super bad customer service as well as bad service. I can't count the times I've gone and they've been hours late on my appointment even with me having an appointment and as well as them causing me pain to one of my teeth, even going numerous times for them to fix it and not being able to... I will never go to any of these perfect smile dentals ever in my life again and don't recommend anybody. I'm also not want to write these bad reviews but damn this place really sucks read more

I have never seen such a clean office in my life! It is such a nice environment with great people working in it. The owner is very nice, the dentist and hygienist as well. Everytime I leave after getting something done, whether it's a cleaning, root canal, crown, etc, I am very happy with my results. Thanks to this office, I feel happy to go to the dentist. read more

It's insane how much "work" they find that needs to be fixed ASAP. They told my friend she needed 2 root canals, 4 crowns, had 8+ cavities, and that she needed to remove her molars even though they weren't bothering her. I think the estimated total was $6000+. Don't trust these people. Get a second opinion. read more

I would totally recommend this place. They have great customer service and make you feel comfortable. The Doctor is very experienced and knowledgeable, He explains everything that you need to know for your procedure. I would surely come back to this dental clinic. This place has the worst service imaginable. AND they will only render the service that he doctor says to render. So if the doctor says you need a deep clean and you don't want a deep clean but a basic cleaning, they wont allow it. They will refuse it 'because the insurance wont pay for it'. I work in benefits. I work as a liason with benefits companies ALL DAY. I KNOW this is not the process. They're just trying to scam you from here to Mars so they get their money. If you have dental insurance and want to feel that you are paying for dental insurance that is worth nothing, for sure when you get here they will let you know, because this office only has in mind to give you the dental codes that the insurance will never cover so that have to pay out of your own pocket. The administration is disgusting, they have some of the staff with very little education, they are not able to have a professional conversation without the rest of the staff that works there and all the patients who are outside waiting for their appointment to find out about your conversation. And please, if you have a complaint, do not call them because the administration will never return your call, good luck. read more

***MUST READ*** One start because putting a review without it, is not possible. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! If you really care about your money and your time. I had a regular check up for my braces, the doctor told me my teeth were ready, but "not perfect", I knew I had to be patience, since my purpose was to have a great smile. But my teeth even wearing the rubber bands, were the same. So I called 5 days in advance to advised the office manager that I wanted to be done with my treatment, I live far from the office, and economy is no good at the moment since I'm a out of pocket patient. When I got to my next appointment, I ask the front lady how do I pay her the retainers (me supposing they are aware of my call days before), she then told me if I wanted to be done with my treatment, I had to pay the months I have left, which was $1053, how am I gonna pay for something that I WANNA IT DONE BECAUSE I CANT PAY???? I spoke with the manager Adianet, first she was screaming so the whole office can hear our conversation, because is a private conversation about a patient (me), I was trying to solve my issue, she stated I was giving her attitude (I was concerned about what to do), and if I keep with my attitude, she was not gonna help me and I had to go to another office. I went straight to my point, if I could take my braces off, and for how much? She said they can take them off for $500. Then when I asked in what part of the contract I signed says that? She said it was not there. So she was charging me for something that I never signed up for, is not even part of the contract. She spoke with the doctor, and came back saying I had three options: either pay the money and take the braces off without the retainers money, so I also had to pay the retainers and the visit, or take the braces off and they are not gonna give me the retainers, or go and find another office. I kindly left the office with the contract I signed. Everytime I wanted to reschedule an appointment, they said I have to pay the visit even if I don't go, what kind of office is this?? You are gonna charge me even if I can't make it that day?? People have emergency, problems to solve. We don't live in a bubble. One star may seem harsh, but this is LITERALLY THE WORST DENTAL FACILITY EVER. I honestly don't have the time to list the many reasons they suck. However, I do have time to list a few. 1) They over (and fraudulently) charge. I was given a a breakdown of pricing for my daughters procedures. They were broken up over a couple appointments and ended up costing FIFTY PERCENT more then originally stated. To add insult to injury, my card was over charged and they refused to return the funds. 2) The employees are unprofessional. Rather then having an adult, business-like conversation about pricing and refunding my money, Danny was extremely rude, and acted as if it was my fault they pulled a bait & switch with pricing. Then he "accidentally" charged my card 35$ more then the receipt stated and refused to refund it. After a few minutes of heated conversation, he begrudgingly agreed to "credit" the 35$ to my account with them. SERIOUSLY?! How crooked can you get? I never scheduled the final appointment because I was so upset about how I was treated. Danny started calling me off of blocked numbers & his personal cell phone trying to get me to schedule another appointment. I'm not talking about the occasional call, I'm talking 10+ calls over an hour period. Unreal. 3) Long wait times and the services are rendered poorly. My daughters teeth still had visible plaque after her 150$ "Deep" cleaning. Additionally, you can expect to spend a minimum of 2 hours there, no matter how basic the procedure. (enough said) This is my personal experience. It was horrible. I could continue ( my partner simultaneously had a terrible experience with them) but honestly, it's not worth my effort. Not even worth one star very money hungry people. I had no cavities but they wanted 1,300. for just a deep cleaning. Also, they recommended to remove my wisdom teeth an additional fee. My wisdom teeth are in perfect condition and not bothering me. They wanted money I do not have for just a little bit of plague removal. I must have a face that says stupid and born yesterday on it. However, I was on this planet too long for that. I went somewhere else for 200.00 for a deep cleaning my whole teeth top and bottom. No wonder people do not go to Dr's and dentist lack of trust. Omg what a nightmare. My first appointment I went in for a regular cleaning, the dentist came in and examined me and walked out of the room. I was then moved to a different room to discuss payment because the dentist told the staff I needed several other things apart from a cleaning. Which amounted to about $450 which was insane, I felt pressured to pay for those services which I could not afford even with me dental insurance. So I left feeling embarrassed without having any services done. I decided to reschedule for a regular cleaning about 2 weeks later, I was contacted at least 3 or 4 times to confirm the appointment which was very annoying considering the fact that an appointment confirmation should only be done ONCE. I arrived to my appointment 10 minutes early where over an hour passed and I still was not seen because they were running behind, I was told the dentist was going to finish up 2 more patients and then take lunch before seeing me. THEN I was later called up to the front where the receptionist told me I needed more than a regular cleaning and that I had no other choice but to PAY $85 for a cleaning when I can get a regular cleaning covered 100% by the insurance. I can not believe how inconvenient and unprofessional this place has been, horrible experience since day 1. Not coming back. read more

Made an initial appointment based on the "specials" listed on their website (which states that a regular cleaning is $65.00). I didn't have insurance at the time, so was expecting to pay between $200-$300 TOPS. The day of my appointment finally came, they did all the X-rays and the doctor checks me up as usual. He was very friendly, no complaints there. After all of this, he tells me I am now going to sit with the "manager" who will explain everything to me. This lady proceeded to quote me almost 6K for a cleaning, some laser treatment thing (that I did NOT ask for), and 3 fillings. She also tried to get me to take out credit to pay for it when I expressed I felt that was a high number and that I was not expecting to spend that much money on just a cleaning (the cleaning alone was like 2k??). I said no thanks, and just left. Obviously feeling like it was a HUGE waste of time. A couple of months go by and I got approved for Medicaid, since I felt bad for wasting their time the first time around I decided to try again and see if they took my insurance. The receptionist said yes and I provided the information and was given an appointment (again about a month out). The day FINALLY came and the same "manager" from before asked for my insurance card because they "didn't find it" with the number I had given them when I called for the appointment. Just want to point out that they called me about once a week before the day of my appointment and like twice the day before to confirm. I always adamantly said yes, but just feel like you could have confirmed any missing information then (?). Anyway, the "manager" pulls me into her office again and proceeds to tell me that I have a copay of almost $600?! At this point, I was LIVID and just got up and walked out. As I was walking out I let her know it is really inconvenient to not be given this information beforehand and that this was the second time I left work early to come there just to walk out with no service. She clearly didn't give a damn and was about to give me some excuse so I just walked out of there before she could because that was just going to make me even more upset. I had called my insurance provider and they confirmed that regular cleanings and fillings are 100% covered and I do not have a co-pay. I understand THIS particular dentist was out of network and that is why they were trying to charge me for the service. However, I just feel I should have been informed of that prior to my appointment. Went in there twice and both times were a complete waste of my time and both times I got attitude from the "manager" because I refuse to pay them all this money for something I can now get for free somewhere else. I can't speak for the quality of their work, as I said the Doctor seemed very nice and the office is very clean and well kept, but their business practices seem very very shady, to say the least. You should always be upfront with people. Guess they're used to people who don't care about their credit and will just take out a 5K loan for a simple tooth cleaning. Must be getting paid commission from Care Credit or something. If you are planning to go here MAKE SURE YOU ASK A LOT OF QUESTIONS and be very clear about what you are getting charged for before sitting in that chair. read more

The office is very clean. The lady on the front her name is Ana she was very nice and very helpful. I had a deep cleaning done by Rita. She was very attentive. She make sure to explain every single thing she was doing. They explain to me all my options. Love the place. read more

This place try's to scam you and rob your money make sure you see everything they charge you for and don't sign nothing unless it's the final price. If they say the price will change later it's bull believe me. I write this for everyone but in specific for the people with no insurance, I guarantee you they will call for credit, tell you you'll pay a low amount and interest but when you get there first bill you'll go nuts, I really don't recommend this place but if you do make sure you sign for what you are gonna pay not that they promise latter it'll be lower. Don't waste your time visiting this POS people. They will diagnose you wrong and will make you feel that your mouth is in a very bad conditions. They want to squeeze your pocket and try to sell you as much as they can, every person in each department is selling products, even the receptionist is selling mouthwash. They also applied for a credit card without my consent, they will just tell that you that is a pre-approval application, but it's not. Once you sign the papers for the "pre-approval" application you are actually signing your consent to the manager (Adiane) to fill up the application for you( she get paid for every application she makes). That's my experience, I hope it's useful for the health of the consumers. read more
