I knew I had 2 small cavities, and felt an impact from one wisdom tooth on my bottom left side. So I naively, went by myself to Dental Boost. 15 minutes later, I walk out with an $8,000.00 bill. Their staff insisted the best option would be to get a credit card through them from "Care Credit". They said I had 12 cavities, needed 4 wisdom teeth removed for "precautionary purposes" since one was bothering me, and should get Invisalign for the ONE tooth I had that was slightly slanted to the right. (Mind you, my entire life people would compliment me on how straight my teeth were.) Oh and they charged me for both bottom and top row teeth Invisalign. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!! I was naïve and thought Dr.Gabaldon was a sweet lady and that all the staff was honest and kind, little did I know they were taking advantage of me because I was 19 and I didn't have any parent or guardian with me, to call them on their bullshit. Towards the end of all the so-called treatments, the staff tried to trick me into paying an additional $2,000 that I had already paid and until I got extremely angry and had my mother speak with them, they said "Oh no, youre right! you did pay it, our mistake". Fast forward, I am 26 now, and 2 of the fillings they did came out, exposing the nerves. I go to visit another dentist, and the dentist tells me 1. I don't have fillings in any teeth except 2 molars, and it was done so poorly, that I will now need 2 root canals, and crowns for those teeth, as well as medication for an infection that the poorly done filling has caused me. They will call you to remind you of your appointment and also use text messaging to communicate with you. Secondly, the office is clean, calming and all the equipment is new and state of the art. There is usually soothing background music playing and the office has a very welcoming feel. If you have more complex dental needs such as myself, you will appreciate that there is an excellent endodontist (Dr. Gabriela Dempaire) there as well. Dr. Ramirez is very thorough in explaining what we work needs to be done before and during your procedure. She is also very patient and gentle when working. I hate getting novacane shots and she almost makes them bearable. The hygienist is very patient as well and checks in with you constantly to ensure you are as comfortable as possible. As far as pricing and insurance goes, they accept many insurances and if you are uninsured, they will work with you on finding ways to make your treatments affordable and also accept Care Credit (you can apply through them if you desire to do so). This is not one of those offices where they try to up-sell you hundreds of dollars worth of treatments and products you don't need. They are pretty straightforward when it comes to recommending what you need if anything at all. I cannot say enough great things about the office, the doctors and the staff.
