I went to Dr H. ....... In 2005!I think ?? He had his office on wilmot Angie was his Assistant which i loved her and he was very nice i had paid him just under $30,0000 to get 10 veneers up top and eight on the bottom Dr Hamidi knew that I had a gum disease. He said that it would be OK. The reason that I wanted the nearest my teeth were beautiful. I just wanted them bigger and wider so that's why I decided to go with the nurse so as he proceeded, got them ready I was very excited. Couldn't wait when it was time for me to go back and get them put on. He just laid them on top before he put them permanently on and gave me a mirror and I just started crying and I couldn't believe it. They were a little tiny little Chiclets. It looks so bad I was devastated and at the time his wife had her veneers and she had real tiny ones as well but I didn't say anything maybe that's what she wanted but anyways, I said no this is not what they were supposed to be. I brought a picture to him and that's how they were supposed to look so he said don't worry I can fix it. I can fix it well I ended up going back and he ended up doing what he had to do and they did look good. They were what I wanted. But I had a concern. I asked him about my original teeth. He had explained to me that in the beginning how he does it and that he had to file my original ones down just very little to get the veneers to stay in place forever, and I said to him since they were filed to fit what you put on in the beginning, which were very small is it gonna cause a problem for me later on as I go years go on will they fall off and he said no he guaranteed me they would be fine as long as I got them in my check ups and my cleanings and stuff which I did. I went to Dr. Harvey for my cleanings for a few years and then I moved to California and then about six years went by my front one fell off. I had to go put it get it put on from that on. They just started falling off. I had them glued on now we're 20 years later. Every tooth that he filed which was 18 of them they're all gone my original tooth and the veneers they just fell out. I have no teeth because of him I tried I went to him and asked him to please do the right thing please fix my teeth. I still have so many years of life and I feel at times i don't even want to live. I look awful and what does he do he pushed me away. He said no he wasn't responsible. We have seen him a couple times at Costco and I didn't say anything. He looked at me like i did something wrong to him and he would take off real quick why would he act like this ? we did see him again at Trader Joe's and at that time my husband had the chance to say to him look what you've done to my wife He says to him she wears a mask wherever she goes and she does not want to leave our home ....Dr Hamidi says No i did nothing wrong its not my fault at all he said he cant afford to do it free he said he would call the police if we didn't leave him alone that we where following him which that was 100% not what we were doing. He's pathetic.and he knows he is responsible 100 percent...I feel like my life is over. I went to a few places it was going to be $60,000. And other was $55.000 we don't have that kind of Money or credit we can do $15.000 not $60.000 or $55.000 Thanks to Dr Hamidi I have been in my home I do not go with my husband to visit family back east I don't want to be seen at all and its so wrong why would he do this ? I think he just started doing veneers and I was one of his guinea pigs and he just goes on with his life how does this man sleep at night I have noticed he has did many others wrong as well but yet he is still practicing I should have taken him to court I think about this daily every time i look at myself and I know my husband does not see me as Beautiful i was Its just not possible it's so awful looking. I have one front tooth one of the big ones that's it and my molars and of course on bottom i have the 4 back ones on each side when i talk you can see the one large one !! Typically I avoid giving one star as it seems extreme, but if you're a doctor, I feel that being disingenuous in order to benefit your business while compromising patients' well-being merits a low rating. I'd like to share my experience with a poorly done root canal by Dr. Hamidi, and the ensuing complications that followed. I went to Dr. Hamidi during my college years in Tucson because he is an acquaintance of my ophthalmologist father. At the age of 20, after never having had a cavity, Dr. Hamidi concluded that I needed a root canal on one of my molars. He then asked if, "I wanted to have him do it, or someone else?" I then asked him, "Well, why do you ask? Why wouldn't I just have you do it? You can do as good a job as anyone right?" To which he confidently responded "yes, he thinks so". I didn't see any reason not to have him do it. At the time, I didn't know there is such a thing as an endodontist who specializes in molar root canals, and of course he didn't recommend one to me. So he did the job. Over the years I experienced pain every time I flossed around that tooth, but bared it, and didn't think much of it. Four years later I suddenly came down with the most horrible tooth pain imaginable. It was relentless. I immediately made an appointment with an endodontist, but had to wait a few days before I could be seen, meanwhile taking pain meds of all kinds. After taking x-rays, Dr. Ramesh Sunar in Charlotte showed me where a piece of the tool used in Dr. Hamidi's root canal procedure had broken off and gotten stuck in the root. The x-ray also revealed that the roots hadn't been filled all the way. Dr. Hamidi had made a mess of the root canal, well, because he's not an endodontist. Root canals on molars are tougher because they have more curvaceous roots than front teeth. So the endodontist re-treated the root canal. He took about 15 x-rays throughout the process because it had become so complicated. In the end he was unable to remove the piece of the tool that was stuck in there and told me that the success rate of the re-treat would be lower because it had initially been done so poorly. Ultimately, I decided to get the tooth removed after reading about the possible harmful effects of root canals with complications. They can be a haven for harmful bacteria, which can take a toll on your immune system. And now that I'm going through the process of getting an implant I wonder if the tooth even needed a root canal to begin with! I should have gotten a second opinion, or a third. But I was young and didn't know any better. Dr. Hamidi lacked the integrity to do the right thing and recommend me to a specialist whom, he surely knew could do a better job. Some one who is disingenuous once can't be fully trusted across the board. I don't want this review to reflect poorly on his assitants who are gentle, very efficient and actually do a better job of tooth cleaning than he does! I just wanted to put this out there to give people a heads up so they can avoid such tribulations. read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Hammidi and his whole staff. When you come in your greeted by his very knowledgeable and kind office manager who is very skilled at her job and works hard to make sure everything that can be covered by insurance is. Also I was happy to see they even took my insurance they take almost all and have very reasonable rates and various ways to pay. The Dr himself is extremely caring and kind and has a very gentle touch and always asks about your comfort level. I've had some pretty bad experiences with Tucson dentists in the past amounting to do overs and wasted money. Dr hammidi takes his time and is very thorough and will only do what is necessary. His competent assistants make you feel like friends and family. BEWARE!! Worst Dentist I've been too. Had my exam and told me he would fill 3 cavities and would cost out of pocket 120. dollars. Made an appt. to take care of this. Usually a Doctor/Dentist will tell you what there are going to do, but this one didn't, that should've been the first sign. Sat on the chair and started the numbing shots. After he started the procedure his assistant said open wide so we can get an impression. That is when I knew I was getting a crown! He finished the work and I proceeded to the front. I WAS SO UPSET my wife had to deal with the receptionist. We went ahead and paid for the crown (455.00). I've seen Dr. Hamidi for 30 years and with every visit my prognosis worsened more each time !! Every visit was more depressing than the last and more expensive very expensive !! His diagnosis & recommendations always veered to the most $$$$treatment !! My last experience was one cleaning then one deep scaling then one cavity two fillings and a $1200 bill. The work was done on a Friday and by Monday the two fillings were out & the cavity was still aching !! I was charged $250 a quadrant- even though a couple only had 2 teeth ... go figure !! My bonding is cracked and splintered ... my bridges are broken with pieces missing I kept paying and I feel like he kept deforming through the years !! I warn you with experience don't just think twice find a different doctor !! Also I doubt that anyone will see this because any unfavorable reviews seem to disappear or are blocked by Dr. Hamidi .... I was his patient for 2+ years...they even forgot to do x-rays of teeth, do not clean teeth properly and recommend expensive treatments later.
