Her responsiveness, professionalism, and genuine concern were exceptional and incredibly reassuring during a stressful situation. When I arrived at the office, I was greeted warmly by the team. After I shared that I hadn't been to a dentist in years due to severe dental anxiety, Chettele Hoyle, the dental assistant, immediately focused on helping me feel calm and comfortable. She suggested bringing a headset so I could listen to music and shared several thoughtful techniques to help ease my nerves. Her compassion and attentiveness made a huge difference. From the moment Dr. Alexis Patel entered the room, her calm and reassuring demeanor immediately put me at ease. However, when I was taken to the room, the assistant said it would actually be $309. When I asked why, she said, "It's just a $10 difference," which is not true -- it's $19. I told her I would be paying cash (no insurance) and that I didn't appreciate the price changing before we even started. She said she would go check the price and never came back. After 40 minutes, I went out myself and found her just standing there. She said they had increased the prices and that the front desk "didn't know." Then the doctor, Robert Huggins, came in and said prices were higher because I made the appointment "a month ago." That's not true -- I scheduled it three days before. He apologized and agreed to honor the original $290 price, and even said he'd do it for $280. He gave me anesthesia at 11:10 a.m. and said he would start in a few minutes. But he didn't come back for almost an hour -- until 11:55. By that time, the anesthesia was already wearing off. When I told him this was unacceptable, he said, "You're right, I should've told you to come next week, because I'm too busy today." Then he gave me two options: he said he could either start right now and finish everything in 15 minutes, or reschedule me for another day. So basically, after sitting in that chair for three and a half hours, hungry, numb, and ignored, he suddenly decided my treatment could be rushed in just 15 minutes. That's not normal, and it's absolutely unacceptable. Even though it was an emergency for me and I decided to let him fix the tooth that day, I left the clinic completely drained and disappointed. No one offered water, no one apologized. At the end, he gave me a $50 discount, and I ended up paying $618 in total. I will never come back to this place again -- and I don't recommend it to anyone who expects respect, honesty, and professionalism

Despite that, I received a letter from the billing office claiming no payment had been made and stating I would now be required to pay in full at the time of service. The tone was unnecessarily harsh and accusatory, especially given my consistent history of paying my balances over the past three years. Including a policy as if I were unaware or negligent felt condescending and completely disregarded the reality that sometimes life happens. There was no attempt at understanding--just a blanket, impersonal response. It's unfortunate because the quality of care from the doctor is not reflected in how patients are treated on the administrative side. In the end, the billing office's approach was enough for me to take my care elsewhere. If you choose to go here, be aware: the medical care may be great, but the billing experience can leave a very different impression.
